Lottabody Wrap Me Foaming Mousse Full Size 7oz - Value: $4.99
Honestly, I’m not excited to see this foaming mousse from Lottabody. July’s box was a Lottabody Takeover and I received the setting lotion which is very similar to this. Otherwise, it works great. I’m just not sure if I should hold on to it or add it to the swap/donation box. I hope by now Cocotique has cleared out their Lottabody stash for the rest of the year.
Evologie Intensive Blemish Serum 0.33oz - Value: $23.00?
This deluxe sample did not come sealed. I’m going to keep it. I received a blemish cream a few months ago from Cocotique and it works very well. I’ve never heard of this brand before either so I’m excited to give it a go. It’s made without parabens, sulfates and fragrances and has great reviews online.
Heartland Exfoliating Loofah Soap in Blood Orange 5oz -Value: $8.00
Another new to me brand! I love discovering new brands and I’ve never seen a loofah soap before. This soap is made with sulfates, glycerin and of course loofah. I received the blood orange scent. Looking at their website I’m curious to what other soaps subscribers may have received. They have a seemingly endless variety- Honey, Lemongrass, Coconut Lime, Peppermint, Raspberry, Vanilla, White Ginger...the list goes on and on! I wouldn’t mind seeing this brand again.
Suga On Top Body Glaze in Mango Mint 1oz - Value: $3.00
Swappers this oil came with a styrofoam seal. I wouldn’t dare trade mine. I love body oils! It doesn’t take much to make me happy. I don’t understand the fragrance name, I don’t smell mint or mango, it just smells sweet. On their website they have a few other body glazes, I wonder if I may have gotten something else like Pink Suga or Warm Honey? Anyway, the main ingredients are sweet almond oil, avocado oil and coconut oil.
Mielle Organics Mint Almond Oil 2oz - Value: $3.50
Cocotique’s insert card says that we should have received an avocado moisturizing hair milk from this brand. I’m not complaining though! LOL. Another oil, yeahie! This one is for hair and it smells just like a peppermint patty. This did not come sealed so I’m glad they added the bag for shipping. The main ingredients are soybean, sweet almond and peppermint oils.
OGX Kukui Oil Shampoo and Conditioner - Value: $4.00
OGX Coconut Water Shampoo and Conditioner - Value: $4.00
Kukui Oil is a hawaiian oil used for a variety of treatments to include massages, scalp treatment and to soothe sunburns. Coconut Water is great for rehydration and has anti-fungal properties.
I’m not a fan of foil packets when it comes to hair care. I’m very heavy handed with hair products and little 7.4ml packets like this don’t do anything for me. I’ve tried the OGX brand before and it isn’t our favorite. These will go up for swaps.
Hask Keratin Deep Conditioner - Value: $2.00
Another item going directly to swaps, the ingredients that I could read include a ton of parabens. This 10 minute hair treatment is said to repair dry and damaged hair.
We also received another pamphlet from Lottabody. I appreciate them providing information about this brand, but once again, on the reverse side is information about how to enter a Lottabody giveaway that ended almost a year ago. I wish they would ask Lottabody for updated pamphlets if they are contracted to send them out.
Verdict: October’s Cocotique had an estimated retail value of $53.00! I discovered four “new to me” brands which is amazing. I also received products from three other brands that I knew, but only one of those I actually love. For me, the oils made this box very good. I also appreciate receiving a variety between skin, hair and body care products. I’m a little concerned about everyone getting another full size product from Lottabody so soon after a Takeover from their brand. I’m still hoping to receive more full size items from small business brands.
What are your thoughts on Cocotique this month? Did you receive anything different?
