Choose Happy Wooden Sign – value: $6
What a cute sign! I’m looking forward to adding it to my home décor.
Quince & Apple Preserves, Pear with Honey and Ginger – value: 1.5 oz, value: $3.25
Personally, I just don’t care for ginger, so these preserves will be gifted or swapped.
Modern Typography Chalkboard Tags – value: $3
These tags are made so that you can write on them with chalk (or chalk markers)! I think they’re cute, but I don’t personally have a need for them. My sister-in-law loves doing things with crafty items like this, though, so these will get passed along to her!
Lovely Fleur Earrings – value: $16
(I couldn’t find either of these exact items on Etsy, so I just linked to the shops.) I really like these! They’re a little simple, but are definitely still pretty different.
Twist Hair Ties – value: $3
To be honest, I’m a little over getting twist hair ties in subscription boxes. I’ve heard that some people love them, but unfortunately they just don’t work for my hair type. Plus, my hair ties are just not someplace where I’m looking to make a statement.
The Verdict: Dottie Box sends such a wide variety of items, so I never really know what I’m going to get. Unfortunately this month’s box was rather a miss for me. I know a lot of that has to do with my own personal tastes and preferences, though. As far as value goes, everything adds up to $31.25, which is a little low for this subscription.
