Fall is officially here, and so is this box, which honestly couldn’t have come at a better time. My skin is in that in-between mode, still recovering from summer, not quite ready for winter's heavy hitters, and this box landed right in that sweet spot. Let’s get into it.

What’s Inside
Tocobo Calamine Pore Control Cleansing Oil — Retail Value $18.20

My first reaction looking at the ingredient list? A hard stare. Olive oil and coconut oil in a cleansing oil? Scary. I was actually surprised. The texture is much lighter than those two ingredients suggest, and it didn’t leave a film like I expected. The one thing I will say: it doesn’t emulsify as well as I’d like. You really have to work it with water to rinse it clean. Not a dealbreaker, but worth knowing if you have congestion-prone skin. A thorough second cleanse is non-negotiable here.
Elizavecca Real1 Vitamin C Toner — Retail Value $14

Okay, so. It’s fine. That’s kind of the whole review.
What I will say is that the spray nozzle is genuinely convenient, it makes the whole application step faster, and if you’re someone who spritzes toner onto a cotton pad or directly onto your face, this format is actually a nice upgrade over a regular bottle.
It’s Skin Power 10 Formula Q10 Effector Wrinkle Warrior — Retail Value $17

It's a new-to-me brand, and that is exactly why I love getting beauty boxes. It’s a genuinely thoughtful anti-aging lineup for the price. The texture is lighter than I expected. My only note: it contains essential oils and fragrance, so if your skin is reactive, patch test first. Overall, though, a solid discovery.
Mary & May Idebenone Blackberry Intense Cream — Retail Value $24

I think I need the full size. Like, yesterday. I’m pretty sure I’ve gotten a travel size of this in a box before, and every single time I finish it before I can form a real opinion. That’s the problem with travel sizes of products that actually need time to work.
Here’s what I can tell you: the formula is genuinely impressive. This is a seriously well-thought-out cream for anyone prioritizing anti-aging and barrier repair at the same time. The texture is rich but not heavy, the applicator is actually good (which, rare), and it leaves skin looking plump and smooth. I want more. That’s my review.
AXIS-Y Mugwort Pore Clarifying Wash Off Mask — Retail Value $17.99

One of my all-time favorites for blackheads, especially around the nose. This mask has earned its cult status for a reason: it’s effective without being brutal, a balance most clay masks fail to strike. It doesn’t overdry, crack while it sets, or irritate the skin when you remove it. The herbal scent is mild and actually kind of pleasant.
My personal method: I use it concentrated on the T-zone rather than the whole face, because that’s where I see the biggest difference.
Ample:M VC Shot Mask — Retail Value $1.39

When a sheet mask just works, there’s not much to analyze. It’s drenched in serum, fits comfortably, doesn’t dry out too fast, and leaves your skin hydrated and smooth when you pull it off. This one also has a vitamin C brightening effect, which makes it an especially good pick before a full makeup day.
Was This Box Worth It?
Cost: $49.95 bi-monthly

Yes, I think so. Not every product here spoke directly to my skin’s needs, and the vitamin C toner is a bit unremarkable, but I’ll always have a complicated relationship with coconut oil in a cleanser—the AXIS-Y mugwort mask and the Mary & May cream alone make this worth it. The It’s Skin serum was a nice discovery too. When a box introduces you to something you’ll actually repurchase, that’s a win.
