Of all my years as a true subscription box enthusiast, I've never seen a box play off past boxes as Beauty Heroes does with its One Way to Play card. It is brilliant! They refer to previous boxes, giving you ideas for which items may work together and how to mix and match different products. This month's card calls back to products from OIO LAB and Laurel Skin.
Beauty Heroes must have read my mind; colder seasons are approaching, which means it is time to indulge in rich textures and amp up the moisturizing and nourishing skincare. When I unboxed this month's delivery, I noticed two keywords staring up at me - "glaze" and "slip" - making me feel hopeful for a few juicy products this month.

Glaze de la Glazé makes its debut in this month's Beauty Heroes. This product is perfectly described as a gelée that melts into a balm and glosses over the skin; it sinks right in and leaves a supple, glowy complexion in its wake.
With murumuru butter, hyaluronic acid, phospholipids, and Tripeptide-29, this formula transformed a few dry patches I had on my face almost instantly. I am tempted to slather this all over my face for overall firming and mega-hydrating benefits, but I'll do a few more patch tests first, just in case my sensitive skin feels like acting up. I love the texture of this one!
LILFOX Nude Slip, 100ml - Retail Value $93
Nude Slip made my skin feel like I had a full-body spa treatment. For the last three days, I applied a few pumps all over, fresh out of the shower, and my skin has honestly never felt better. This oil sinks into your pores and gives them a total glow-up; it even erased some really stubborn texture on my forearms! I also love the subtle earthy fragrance that lingers throughout the day.
This liquid gold is packed with omega fatty acids and oils like maracuja, guava seed, and camellia seed oil, and it also contains antioxidants from dragonfruit, goji berry, pomegranate, and raspberry CO2 extracts. Together, these ingredients formulate an intoxicating treat for all over, and it's made me look forward to my early morning showers. I love this all-over body elixir, and I'd buy it by the gallon, but at $93 for 100ml... I think I'll just savor this bottle and hope for a good sale at Beauty Heroes!
Verdict
Beauty Heroes featured two full-sized products by LILFOX this month, and they've been absolute treats. The abrupt season change from summer to fall left my skin so confused, but with LILFOX's help, I feel confident that I'll be back soon, skin glowing and ready to take on the winter (but let's not rush the spooky season!).
