First Impressions

August is here, and with it comes all the feelings. We’re on a two-week sports hiatus, and I’ve spent hours soaking up the sun, watercoloring, and finally taking some deep breaths for the first time in months!
Now that I have a little time to relax, I couldn't wait to receive this month's Vellabox—and I have to say, it was absolute perfection. This month's quote includes a sweet nod to eggs, and with our busy schedule finally slowing down, Charlie also brought home some chicks. In another 6–9 months, we'll be enjoying sunny-side-up mornings with fresh eggs from our own little flock!

Tranquil Bliss Candles "Making Muffins" - Retail Value $40.00
It's county fair season, and you can bet we've been baking up a storm! Charlie even spent two hours the other day picking wild blueberries so he could make a blueberry crumble pie to enter in the fair.
That said, even when we're not baking, I love a food-scented candle that makes my house smell like we are. This month's "Making Muffins" candle is absolutely incredible! With notes of cinnamon, nutmeg, pumpkin, ginger, soft-baked batter, whipped cream, caramel, and buttery crust, it's honestly one of the most delicious-smelling candles I've ever had the pleasure of sniffing.
I had it burning in the kitchen when my husband got home, and he immediately thought there was a pumpkin roll waiting for him to eat. Sadly, that wasn't the case—but it sure smelled like it! When my husband actually comments on how much he likes a candle, it's practically a miracle, so this one was definitely a win.
I also love the simple, timeless label design, and the little story on the back about "Making Muffins" was such a fun touch. It's something we haven't seen before, and it made this month's candle feel even more special.
Made with soy wax and premium fragrance oils, this candle is one I genuinely can't recommend enough. With an 80-hour burn time, I'll have plenty of cozy, relaxing moments to enjoy before it's gone. ❤️

Like I mentioned above, this month's box was absolute perfection. Not only was the quote spot-on and the candle absolutely delicious-smelling, but this month's surprise gift was seriously the cutest!
Adding a little extra charm to my fridge, we received an adorable candle-shaped enamel magnet. With its pretty gold accents and all of my favorite fruits decorating it, I was instantly obsessed. It went straight onto my fridge the moment I opened it! I would absolutely love to see more surprise gifts like this in future boxes!

Vellabox is a fabulous subscription and one I look forward to receiving every single month. Since I burn candles almost daily, it's important to me that they're free of toxins and other harmful ingredients. Vellabox does an excellent job of curating small-batch brands that are not only safe to burn but smell absolutely incredible, too!
This month's Making Muffins candle was pure perfection, making my evenings feel even cozier once the dishes were done and I was curled up on the couch. With the addition of the curated Spotify playlist and the adorable magnet, this month's box truly felt complete.
I already can't wait to see what September has in store!
