First Impressions
Beauty Heroes believes in a less-is-more approach to packaging. My products arrived in a neat white box, nestled in crinkled, recyclable brown paper to ensure a safe delivery.
Le Prunier is a new-to-me brand centered on their proprietary plum complex, rich in antioxidants, essential fatty acids, and nutrients that help to nourish and support the skin barrier.
July's refined Beauty Heroes products are by the Taylor sisters, Jacqueline, Allison, and Elaine's brand, Le Prunier; their elevated approach to skincare is rooted in their family's organic plum orchard in Northern California. Their experience growing up on the farm helped them realize the potential of their crop, leading them to create their proprietary plum complex. They've developed a range of products, utilizing sustainable, organic, and herbicide-free farming practices.

Le Prunier Plum Spritz Dual-Phase Barrier Mist, 60ml - Retail Value $48
The older I get, the more I appreciate products that amp up my skin's dew-factor. This dual-phase beauty mist has several components that contribute to its beautiful glass-skin finish, which include plum beauty juice, plum beauty oil, natural moisturizing factor complex, and quadruple hyaluronic complex.
Antioxidants, peptides, and hyaluronic acid plump the skin and help maintain a continuous veil of hydration throughout the day. Give this bottle a shake (careful, it is glass!), and spritz this fine mist all over the face, neck, and chest. It is a fine mist, so I had to hold it pretty close to my face for even coverage.
Le Prunier Plumtox Clarifying Enzyme Mask, 50ml - Retail Value $85
Plumtox is a 'rebalancing enzyme treatment' that brightens and refines the skin without disrupting the natural skin barrier. It serves as a clarifying treatment for the skin: after one use, I woke up with a glowing complexion, and a few of my spots from a week ago appeared much smaller and lighter.
This gorgeous purple mask created a warming effect that only lasted a few moments. After ten minutes, I washed my face with cool water, and I immediately noticed my skin felt softer. Midnight Muir Extract is an antioxidant-rich plum complex that smooths and clarifies; Alpin Heilmoor Extract increases circulation and revitalizes the skin; plum beauty oil and Gardenia Florida Extract soften the skin and calm inflammation.
Gotta love the skincare selfies. This mask was easy to smooth on, and it was easy to rinse off - no need to scrub. I loved using this easy 10-minute treatment; I really think that with regular use, my skin could improve its texture over time.
Verdict
Beauty Heroes always manages to find brands that immediately grab my attention. This month's Hero Product, Le Prunier's Plum Spritz Dual-Phase Barrier Mist, was an instant favorite, and I plan on using Plumtox twice a week to see if it has a lasting effect on my skin's texture and clarity. (Fingers crossed!) July's box has a retail value of $133; you're getting two full-sized products for $58.95, an excellent deal for anyone looking to expand and enhance their clean, eco-friendly beauty arsenal on a budget.
