May has arrived, and we’re finally starting to see some spring-like temperatures. It’s fishing season opener, and with all the chaos of spring sports and travel prep, I needed a moment to slow down and breathe.
This month’s Vellabox arrived at just the right time, adding a calming touch to my morning coffee routine. It helped me reset, organize my thoughts, and write out exactly what I needed to get done for the day without feeling overwhelmed.

One of my favorite parts of spring is the chance to hang clothes out on the line to dry. While my sister-in-law hangs everything outside, I mostly just enjoy the fresh breeze drifting through my bedding and blankets—and this candle captures that feeling perfectly.
Featuring notes of petitgrain citrus, cotton wood, coconut milk, wild mint, and spring water, it has a beautifully fresh, clean scent that I absolutely adore. Poured into a 16-ounce amber glass jar, even the look of the candle feels calming and soothing.
Made from soy wax and premium fragrance oils, this large candle offers about 80 hours of burn time and truly creates multiple moments of relaxation. The scent throw is pleasant without being overpowering, and even my husband—who is very particular about candles—enjoyed the clean, fresh aroma, which is saying something!

Paired perfectly with the candle, we also received a fragrance roll-on in the same scent. Created exclusively for the May 2026 Vellabox, it’s a beautiful, easy-to-wear fragrance that truly smells like spring.
It was a lovely way to round out an already excellent box and made for a thoughtful finishing touch. This month’s curation was truly a delight to receive!

Vellabox is a fabulous subscription and one I look forward to receiving each and every month. Since I burn candles almost every day, it’s important to me that they’re free of toxins and harmful ingredients. Vellabox does an excellent job of curating small brands that are not only safe to use but smell incredible too! This month’s "Ivory Linen" scent was a delight to me, and brought a little coziness to my home. With the addition of the Spotify playlist and the matching scented fragrance roll-on my month felt complete. I already can’t wait to see what’s in store for June!
