Inside the December 2025/January 2026 Box
There's so much pressure on winter subscription boxes to end the year with a bang, but I like that Love Goodly's bimonthly box always covers both December and January—it's a year end and a fresh start in one. I'm seeing some skincare, cosmetics, and tools at an initial glance. Let's explore them together.
Love Goodly now sends 1 postcard with a QR code to provide information about the products. If you would rather take a look on desktop, you can find the info on the Love Goodly site, under Current Box. VIP subscribers will receive an extra product, and while previously there was a second card describing it, the new online format has it listed first. Nothing has changed with their referral program—if you refer a friend to Love Goodly, you each get $15 off your next box.
VIP: EARTH HARBOR Blue Crush Marine Perfecting Mask, 2 oz – Retail Value $22
This time around we'll start with the VIP product instead of saving it for last. If you subscribe at this tier, your extra full-size product is always something special. This month it's a soothing mask from our beloved Earth Harbor. You start by cleansing your face, then mix 1-2 teaspoons of this powder with drops of water until you find the consistency you like. Massage it onto your face, let it sit for up to 10 minutes, then rinse off. Or! If you want, you can use it as a clay cleanser. This is how I will use it more often. Years ago a friend gifted me a small jar of cleansing herbs and petals, and I love the texture, the natural botanical smell, and the cleanse it gives me. This will be awesome to blend with it.
The consistency of this mask is splendid—soft and thick. It feels lightweight on, and doesn't get crusty. The scent is a little something more than just plain natural clay. There's coconut cream in there that adds to the aroma, and it almost seems citrusy. It's pleasant and I don't find it overpowering.
FLYTE.70 ColorBack.Pressed Cheek Blush in Linger, .13 oz – Retail Value $36
Always a thrill to receive FLYTE.70 cosmetics! This time it's a pressed powder blush with a hint of luminosity. The shade I was sent is called Linger, a warm berry tone.
I'm typically not a blush wearer both because I'm naturally quick to blush (read: embarrassed) and because I still haven't figured out how to apply it without looking like a clown. But with this beautiful compact in my hand I was given the courage to try again. Alas, I don't think it's my shade. It's a little too Victorian against my skin. But the quality is obvious and the pigment is rich.
The box includes a Flyte.70 vegan blush brush! The bristles are so soft. The glue didn't hold on mine so the handle wouldn't stay connected, but that's an easy fix.
RAEKA Quench Me Moisturizer, 1.7 fl oz – Retail Value $26
I was taken by this brand the last time LG sent a foaming cleanser—that time it was for VIP subscribers, but this face moisturizer is for all subscribers. Here's what Love Goodly shares about ingredients:
"This featherlight moisturizer blends soothing Camphor, antioxidant-rich Turmeric, and healing Vitamin E to leave your face feeling plump, calm, and totally radiant.
Also features Aloe Vera, which brings a cooling, moisturizing touch, while Jojoba and Olive Oils and Cocoa Butter deliver rich nourishment."
You can see the faint yellow tint thanks to anti-inflammatory turmeric. There's also a faint spiced lavender scent.
KOMUSO DESIGN x Love Goodly Custom Flex Fidget Breather – Listed Value $9.99
And now for something completely different! Love Goodly teamed up with Komuso Design to bring us an exclusive fidget unlike any other. It's made of soft silicone that you can squeeze, rub your fingers over the bumps, and even put in your mouth to breathe through or gently chew. I admit I was confused at first but after trying it I can see the appeal. My kids absolutely love the novelty of it and are asking me to get one for each member of our family. Now I understand why Komuso Design sells them in sets!
FORMULARY 55 Sea Clay Body Mask, .75 oz — Retail Value $8
And now a body mask! This is one to save for a time when you have the opportunity to really sit and enjoy. It's a clay mask that you mix up to use on your neck, back, and decolletage. A former version of myself would've thought that sounded like a mess and gifted this mask, but I'm thinking of a back mask I got as part of a massage and it was wonderfully hydrating for a part of my body I can't easily reach with lotion! The ingredients are simple: "Dead sea mineral clay, matcha powder, activated charcoal, and a proprietary blend of essential oils."
The instructions say to use half the mask at a time, but there's no way to reseal it, so rather than getting extra plastic involved I may just wait to use it until a friend or my daughter wants to do it with me.
WILD ROSE Solstice Botanical Salt Spray, 1 oz — Retail Value $7.95
Finally for this winter box, we have a multi-purpose spray. It can be used for skin or hair, as a room spray, or even a yoga mat spray. The spearmint-juniper scent is really so nice for winter! Somehow both warm and refreshing. I pulled it out on the solstice to spray on myself and the room around me while I was writing intentions.
Verdict
This Love Goodly box touched on all sorts of categories, and did it well! The masks, blush with brush, moisturizer, and spray are all lovely winter additions—I'll be glad to gift the blush and use the rest. And, as always, it's wonderful to enjoy this box knowing that every single item is vegan, non-toxic, cruelty-free, and more.
