First Impressions
December is here, and Christmas is upon us! With so many holiday events coming up, I’m in desperate need of some self-care evenings to unwind from all the excitement. Since I’ve been feeling extra run-down, I was thrilled to receive this month’s Bath Bevy “Home for the Holidays” box. Filled with indulgent, relaxing goodies, this subscription never disappoints. Keep reading to see what makes it so amazing!
Unlike some subscription boxes, this blue and white box presents beautifully. Not only does this box have some serious weight to it, but it also boasts theme-coordinating tissue paper (just look at the fun holiday print), a sweetly placed sticker, and crinkle paper! These small but thoughtful touches make this truly feel like I am opening a gift, which makes it all the more fun! Besides the items, Bath Bevy also includes an info sheet detailing all of the products included.

Deck the Halls Bath Fizzy Dust - Retail Value $10.00
Baths have truly become a major part of my self-care routine, and this month’s “Deck the Halls” bath fizzy dust has been an amazingly festive addition to my hot soaks. With the perfect Christmas scents of fruit and pine, I literally sat in the tub for an hour. Packed with plenty of salt to create multiple bath sessions, this was one of my favorite items this month—and the boys loved it just as much!
Frosted Winter Berry Whipped Soap - Retail Value $15.00
I love whipped soap because it spreads so easily on my skin and smells absolutely divine. This month’s “Frosted Winter Berry” scent is a delightful mix of berry and spice with a hint of almond. It cleanses while moisturizing, and it even makes a great shaving cream. While it’s easy to apply directly with your hands, it also works well with a washcloth or loofah. This is a fantastic inclusion that I appreciate every single month.
Winter Candy Apple Bath Bomb - Retail Value $15.00
Bath bombs are definitely one of our favorite parts of this box, and this month we received a couple of beauties! The first one was "Winter Candy Apple," and it smelled absolutely amazing! With notes of juicy pineapple, crisp apple, and sweet oranges, you really can’t go wrong dropping this in the tub. Made from sodium bicarbonate, citric acid, Epsom salt, SLSA, organic coconut oil, organic essential oils, fragrance oils, and FD&C colorant, this is a huge bath bomb that has already caused some friendly competition. Charlie got first pick, but Hank really wanted this one—an arm-wrestling match may have ensued. Hank won, but decided to save it for after his basketball tournament this weekend. That’s how incredible these bath bombs are!
Candy Cane Bubble Scoop - Retail Value $7.00
This month we also received a Candy Cane Bubble Scoop. This little ice cream scoop–shaped ball featured bright red coloring with a touch of sparkle. It felt a bit like a bar of soap, but created wonderfully sudsy water when held under a stream of running water. I used it in one bath, and it crumbled into small bits while producing even more bubbles. While it could have been saved for another bath, I didn’t want it to stain my tub. Although it wasn’t as exciting as a bath bomb, it left my bathroom smelling delicious and made for a lovely soak!
Holly Bath Bomb - Retail Value $15.00
The next item we received was another jumbo bath bomb! Very similar to the first one, this one was holly-scented and green. With notes of evergreens, apples, and holly berries, this was the bath bomb Charlie claimed. Reminiscent of the Grinch in color, it has been set aside for after Charlie’s basketball tournament, because there’s truly nothing better than soaking in a hot, bath-bomb-filled tub after a long, exhausting day of basketball!
Sugar Plum Body Wash - Retail Value $12.00
The last item we received was a lovely bottle of Sugar Plum–scented body wash. This wash features notes of citron, crimson plum, sugared amber, and cashmere musk. It has a medium-to-strong scent that feels warm, cozy, and perfect for a relaxing shower. The bottle opens easily, and the wash works wonderfully with a loofah or washcloth, creating a rich lather that leaves your skin feeling extra clean. We absolutely love this stuff!
