What's Inside The Box
NOVICA took me on a trip to Thailand this quarter, and I received a mix of home decor and puzzle-themed items. Let's see what was inside my box!
Hand Crafted Round Wood Smartphone Speaker, "Lively Sound" by Sanai Keawchaisa (Retail Value: $77.95)
This was my favorite item from the Thailand box! I thought the blend of maple, cherry, walnut, and mahogany woods was beautiful and paired well with most of our other home decor.
I used it to listen to music and podcasts while cooking, and I think it amplified the sound of my phone by at least 2-3X. However, NOVICA suggests that it's best used toward a bedroom dance party, so I'll make sure to try that out ASAP with my toddlers.
Set of 3 Ceramic Figurines of Pink and Blue Bunnies, "Sweet Reunion" by Krittanu (Retail Value: $34.95)
Up next was my toddlers' favorite set of items from the Thailand box. These adorable ceramic bunnies would serve as the sweet and simple additions to an Easter display. Their colors are symbolic of luck, tenderness, and friendship.
While I had planned to keep these cuties on my desk, my kids had other plans for them and they're currently burrowed somewhere in our bedroom...
Pair of Brass Bell Ornaments with Elephants and Red Ribbons, "Elephant Tune" by Teerasak Chaiwong (Retail Value: $54.95)
These brass bell ornaments provided a simple touch of elegance to my office bookcase (which is desperately needed). While they're technically themed for the holidays, I plan to keep them out on display year-round.
Handcrafted Square Wood Geometric Puzzle from Thailand, "Geometry Game" by Waraporn Khamsuk (Retail Value: $48.95)
My daughter enjoyed putting this wooden puzzle back together (though I think my son might have walked away with a few pieces after she completed it). I love how puzzles like these can help my children learn more about spatial awareness while finding different ways to solve problems.
Three Thai Miniature Wood Puzzle Game Ornaments, "Christmas Challenge" by Waraporn Khamsuk (Retail Value: $37.95)
Another set of puzzles that just so happened to serve as Christmas ornaments, too. These would make the perfect stocking stuffers for just about any family.
They were fun to unravel with my 3-year-old daughter, though I plan to keep them far away from my 1.5-year-old son due to the small pieces. I probably wouldn't place them on my tree, but mostly because the kids will "borrow" the separate pieces for their own inventions.
Value
The retail value of the combined items is $254.75. Considering that you only pay $59.99 per box, this is an exceptional deal. And, of course, the value that I got from having someone curate household items for me is priceless.
The Verdict
While my favorite item this quarter was the Hand Crafted Round Wood Smartphone Speaker, "Lively Sound", my kids both voted for the Set of 3 Ceramic Figurines of Pink and Blue Bunnies, "Sweet Reunion" as theirs. Overall, this was another fun box by NOVICA, and I'm sure we'll get plenty of use out of these items as always.
