The June 2025 Box
As a beauty enthusiast, I have been a subscriber to a slew of make-up boxes. But Medusa's Make-Up is still pretty new to me. When the opportunity to review this box arose, I jumped at the chance, and couldn't wait to see what it was all about. After my first box, I became obsessed - so what does June's box have in store?! Read below to find out!
Wrapped in a beautiful pink foil mailer, it was love at first sight! I was so excited to see this in my mailbox that I actually jumped for joy! This month I again received a bubble mailer makeup pouch and was pretty excited about this bonus inclusion as they work great for travel! Now, let's dig in.
Kicking things off, we got an info card that lays out everything inside the box, complete with their retail values. This month's card features a tasty popsicle that has me craving some hot, sunny days! There’s no official theme mentioned, but I’m more than ready to dive in!
Sun Kissed Bronzer - Retail Value $18.00
This month, the first item we received was Medusa’s Make-Up "Sun Kissed" Bronzer. The rectangular pan contains a generous amount of product and is very pigmented. As you can see from the swatch, it has an orangey-bronze shimmer and needs to be applied with a light hand to avoid going overboard. Since I don’t have my summer glow just yet, it looked a bit stark on my skin, but with a light application, it added a nice touch of warmth. Overall, I enjoyed this product and love the sun-kissed glow it gives!
Facial Cheek Puff - Listed Value $4.00
The next item I received was a small triangular facial cheek puff. Made with soft black fabric and a black ribbon handle, it’s designed for multiple uses. While it’s not something I would typically go out and purchase, I did enjoy using it while washing my face and really appreciated how soft it felt on my skin.
Lip Gel (Assorted) – Listed Value $12.00
Next up, we received a fun pink tube of lip gel. This product applies easily and has a thick consistency. It leaves your lips colorless but gives them a nice glossy sheen—perfect for summer! Since it’s a gel, it does need to be reapplied often, but it was a great inclusion for the season, especially when I tend to go for a more natural look.
Baked Eyeshadow - Woke - Listed Value $14.00
I love metallic eyeshadows, but I wasn’t quite sure what to think when I received this yellow shade. Bright in the pan, I was pleasantly surprised to see that the swatch looked more subtle and golden. Great for highlighting your lids or layering over the included bronzer, this eyeshadow is surprisingly versatile. It also has decent staying power—it lasted all day without creasing. Overall, it’s a welcome addition to my makeup collection!
Liquid Lipstick - Get Lucky - Listed Value $14.00
The last item I received was probably the most fun! I love lipstick, but I usually stick to natural rum shades, maroon reds, or deep magentas. Hot pink has definitely never made the list—partly because my aunt wore a lot of it in the '80s (and not in a good way). That said, I had to give this one a try, and guess what? I actually kind of liked it! It’s a supppppper bright shade, which in turn is perfect for summer. While the staying power isn’t quite what I look for in a lipstick, it was fun to wear to a short event where eating and reapplication weren’t necessary.

The Verdict
This month’s curation from Medusa’s Make-Up was pretty darn great. While we only received five items, I really enjoyed the eyeshadow, bronzer, and lip products. The colors were perfect for summer, and I appreciated how bold and vibrant they were! Overall, I was happy with everything in this month’s bag, though I’m hoping to see six items in the July box.
