Bespoke Post Review “Lights Out” Subscription Box

Bespoke Post is a monthly membership club that delivers high-quality lifestyle products from up-and-coming brands. It’s voted as one of the best men’s subscription boxes of 2024 by our readers and it’s a great box for women and couples as well.

When you sign up, there’s a quiz to determine your preferences and interests, and then you’re matched with a differently-themed box every month. For $49 a month, each box promises at least $70 in retail value with items ranging from outdoor gear, barware, home, kitchen goods, clothing, and more. If you're not into what's selected for you, there are many others to choose from.

Unlike most subscription boxes, you get to preview your Bespoke Post box before it ships, and you can easily swap for a different box or skip the month for no charge. You only pay for the months that interest you.

This is a review of the "Lights Out" box.

This box was sent to us at no cost for review. (Check out our editorial guidelines to learn more about how we review boxes.)

First Impressions

Bespoke Post almost always has a good presentation. They have a different, perfect-sized box – or bag – for everything. This may have been the first I've received with the nice orange paper. It really makes the package seem like a present.

Inside the Bespoke Post "Lights Out" Box

Unsimply Stitched Pajama Set  - Estimated Price $87

Many moons ago, my very first Bespoke Post box was lounge wear called "Off Duty." I still wear those pants. The shirt I ... er, grew out of. So I jumped at the opportunity to get some updated (read: larger for my belly) sleepwear, which is from Unsimply Stitched. Bespoke offers it in black, grey, and Navy. I went with the latter. Honestly, there are not many specifics to write about. They are made of 50% Polyester and 50% Viscose. And ... they are very comfy. They look comfy, feel comfy, are comfy. They are perfect for a lazy morning, after a long day, or not taking them off for a whole weekend, which is what I am currently doing. Despite the aforementioned belly, I went with a medium. The shirt fits just right. The pants are nice around the waist, but really long in the legs.

Note: The link and price is for a similar set. Unsimply Stitched doesn't sell at "pajama set." The closest thing is a "lounge wear combo" that seems to be pretty close to the same thing. So I went with that at $87.

Isch Body Works Aromatherapy Roller Ball  - Retail Price $12

Included with the pajamas is a 10mL roller ball fragrance from Isch Body Works. It comes in three scents. This one is called "The Night Before." The site claims it "can help keep your mind sharp and your mood balanced keeping you alert for long hours of problem solving." Ingredients include clove, patchouli, and cedar. I'm not usually one for therapeutic scents, but I really did enjoy this and found it relaxing.

Note: "The Night Before" scent is currently sold out.

Verdict

I'm happy with my new lounge wear set from Bespoke Post. It's perfect for wearing an entire lazy day/weekend. I put them on to take some photos for this review and didn't take them off the rest of the day. I might get the pants hemmed just so they're not falling down over my feet when I don't have slippers on. Otherwise, this is another item going straight into my rotation.

Let's Talk About Value

This box clocks in at $99. That's assuming I got the right price on the pajama set, which is not certain. Either way, that's a $45 value against the cost of this subscription ($54 including shipping). One: that doesn't sound right. Two: even if it was, that's a lot to pay for pajamas. Three: that's a great value. With the money I saved, I could buy a pair of nice slippers.

To Wrap Up

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Yes, the "Lights Out" is available at the time of this post. Although some sizes/colors are sold out. If you ever do miss out on something though, be sure to check back, because boxes usually return or there are similar items.
