Bespoke Post is a monthly membership club that delivers high-quality lifestyle products from up-and-coming brands. It’s voted as one of the best men’s subscription boxes of 2024 by our readers and it’s a great box for women and couples as well.

When you sign up, there’s a quiz to determine your preferences and interests, and then you’re matched with a differently-themed box every month. For $49 per month, each box promises at least $70 in retail value with items ranging from outdoor gear, barware, home, kitchen goods, clothing, and more. If you're not into the boxes selected for you, there are many others to choose from.

Unlike most subscription boxes, you get to preview your Bespoke Post box before it ships, and you can easily swap for a different box or skip the month for no charge. You only pay for the months that interest you.

This is a review of the "Showcase" box.

This box was sent to us at no cost for review. (Check out our editorial guidelines to learn more about how we review boxes.)

First Impressions

Bespoke Post almost always has a good presentation. They have a different, perfect-sized box – or bag – for everything. This was packaged better than the photos show. There was craft paper to fill the void inside the box and foam around the actual item, which was also shrink-wrapped. Normally, I'd photograph that, but I must have gotten too excited and opened everything without thinking.

Holme and Hadfield The Weekender Watch Display Case - Retail Price $70

"The Weekender" from Holme and Hadfield is their smallest option in an array of beautiful watch, knife, and sunglass displays. They all have an all-around 360° view of displayed items, perched securely on solid wood pedestals behind a durable, crystal-clear acrylic case to protect from dust. Bespoke offers this item in black and walnut. I went with the latter, even though black would have matched my dresser. It measures 4.7 inches wide, 5.6 inches high, and 7.9 inches long. It's also heavier than I expected. I'm using mine to display the only two watches I have (also from Bespoke Post: here and here). Not sure what I'm going to keep in the drawer. Maybe some other small accessories like pins, cuff links, and tie clips. This may sound stupid, but I was also thinking I could display it "backward" and sort of hide the drawer. I could keep something valuable in there ... or bedside candy.

Note: Not pictured is a small microfiber cloth that was included to clean the acrylic case.

Verdict

A watch display case is something I never knew existed. Nor would have bought it for myself, but seeing it as an option on Bespoke Post just made sense to me. I'm a sucker for having a place for my items. So I love the display and the additional – albeit small – storage. It feels of good quality and solid build. I only have the two watches, so it was perfect for me. Also, I think it's worth mentioning that I had a small issue with a cracked acrylic case. It had likely been dropped in transit. Bespoke Post's customer service was pleasant, helpful, and quick to replace the item.  With quality items, good customer service, and easy returns, Bespoke Post is a solid subscription.

Let's Talk About Value

This box clocks in at $70 even. That's a $16 value against the cost of this subscription ($54 including shipping). With the money I saved, I could buy the vegan leather padding option for this display.

To Wrap Up

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Yes, the "Showcase" is available at the time of this post. If you ever do miss out on something though, be sure to check back, because boxes usually return or there are similar items.
