This deck, much like every other oracle deck from this subscription, is gorgeous. These large cards are elaborately illustrated, and they all look beautiful. I love closing my eyes while I run my fingers across the cards, and I choose based on a gut feeling and the energy I might feel from a card calling to me. There are forty cards to this deck, and it comes in a sleek box with a guidebook to help navigate what and how you pull.
Cosmic Answers Potion Bottle - Retail Value $18

This bottle is described as having a Ouija/evil eye design, but I would say this eye is more of a sultry eye; regardless, this purple bottle has found its way to my altar. I'm not sure what I want to put in it yet, but I am thinking a few sprigs of thyme might look cool. What would you put inside of it?
Earth Harbor Obscura Ampoule - Retail Value $44

Earth Harbor is one of my favorite vegan, woman-owned, organic, non-GMO, etc. etc. etc. brands. All of their products are so gentle on the skin, and I always feel so good about spending my money on brands that really look after the environment; not to mention the health and safety of their consumers. This ampoule goes on feeling oily, which is great for a seamless and gentle application, but it quickly dries down to reveal a velvety texture. I don't think my skin has ever felt so silky just after a simple treatment like this! I am pleasantly surprised that this product does not have a fragrance, which makes me love it all the more. I noticed that my skin felt super soft after application, and hopefully, after continued use, I will have the youthful glow of a 20-something-year-old. I have tried and used up a bottle of this before, and I am so happy to have another.
Infinite Magic Altar Tile - Retail Value $22

I love the idea of having this solid surface to use for laying out crystals or deciphering oracle card meanings. It is made from unsealed slate and adorned with a serpent intertwined with the Seed of Life. It is a weighty tile and although it looks a little dark and mysterious, the symbols embody transformation and universal connection - two lovely ideas.

Serpentine is a grounding crystal that can be used to heal the heart chakra. This rock is small but mighty; it's known to boost spirituality and psychic prowess, the perfect stone for meditation.
The Verdict
I always have an excellent time unboxing Goddess Provisions. This month's theme, "Shadow and Light," was a delight to unbox! I always love the GP branded items, which are forever fun and always a creative range of products. I truly appreciate the insight from the gorgeous Shadows of Light Oracle deck. This has been my favorite subscription box for quite some time; it helps me take the time to feel more mindful and self-reflective, and in today's hustle and bustle, it is so important to take that time for yourself. This month's box has a value of $131, a terrific value for a $33 box.
