First Impressions

This subscription comes packaged in a blue and white box, and when you open it you find the items thoughtfully tucked inside of sizzle and tissue paper and sealed with a sticker. You can really tell Bath Bevy pays attention to detail by how they pack their box. There is also an info sheet detailing the products included.

Bath Bevy "Love” February 2023 Review

Chocolate Covered Strawberry Bath Bomb - Retail Value $8

I'm not crazy about chocolate covered strawberries, but I think that's because nine times out of ten they're made with underripe strawberries so they don't taste the way I want them to. The smell of this bath bomb, though, nails it. Ripe strawberries and creamy chocolate mix together in this fun red bath bomb that is perfectly festive for this February box.

Love is in the Air Bath Bomb -  Retail Value $8

Even though this bath bomb is a bright pink, it only added a light pink to my bath water along with a good bit of foamy bubbles. That's one of the nice things about Bath Bevy bath bombs- I've never had an issue with them staining my bathtub. This is scented with a mix of amber, berries, and blackcurrant, and I like that it isn't quite as sweet as some of the other scents in this month's box.

Candy Gram Bubble Bath - Retail Value $12

This bubble bath makes a good bit of bubbles! Since you only need one or two ounces per bath and this is a nine ounce bottle, this bottle will last you for quite a few baths, too. The Candy Gram scent is a mix of lime, orange, berry, cherry, and vanilla, and it smelled quite good. I used this bubble bath at the same time I used the Love is in the Air bath bomb, and the two together were a lovely pairing.

XOXO Whipped Soap Scrub - Retail Value $15

As someone who loves cotton candy, I was really excited about this soap scrub- the XOXO scent is comprised of cotton candy, lemon drops, vanilla, and musk. If you're new here, I'm also a big fan of the Bath Bevy soap scrub formula. Soap scrubs come frequently in this subscription, but the formula is extremely gentle on the skin while also having a fluffy texture that is honestly just fun to use.

Love Spell Epsom Salt, 16 oz - Retail Value $16

I haven't smelled Love Spell in quite a bit, but one inhale of this brought me right back to high school when the love spell body spray was quite a big deal. If you're note familiar, this has scent notes of mandarin, tangerine, bergamot, peaches, strawberries, and raspberries on a bed of white musk. The smell blooms in a lovely way when these Epsom salts hit the warm bath water, and it fills my small bathroom.

Bee Lucia Love Rose Quartz Wellness Candle, 4 oz - Retail Value $17

Getting this candle in this subscription box was an absolute TREAT- I think I squealed when I opened the box and realized what was inside. I am a huge fan of the Bee Lucia wellness candles, but I haven't had many of them. To get one unexpectedly in this box (especially when candles don't typically come in this version of the Bath Bevy subscription) definitely sparked subscription box joy. The candle itself is made with organic, food-grade beeswax and cold-pressed unrefined coconut oil and is scented with therapeutic-grade essential oils. It has actual rose quartz crystals, and the scent is a beautiful and refreshing peppermint. It burned evenly and cleanly and is honestly just a beautiful candle, and I love that all Bee Lucia candles are designed around a specific intention- this one was designed to help create a compassionate environment that cultivates love, renewal and positivity as soon as you light the cotton wick.

Value – Was This Box Worth It?

The Cost: $43.21 per month + $7.95 shipping.

Value Breakdown: Everything in this box is handmade by Bath Bevy except the Bee Lucia candle! All of the prices add up to an estimated $76, which is more than the cost of the box plus shipping.

Key Takeaways

I thought this month's Bath Bevy box was spectacular. I can't lie- including a Bee Lucia candle is like a secret cheat code for me to being absolutely in love with a box, but the scents and performance of the other products this morning were all lovely, too. Bath Bevy does a good job creating artisan products under their label, and I personally have never had any issues with their formulas. If you don't take baths, don't let that deter you from subscribing- they also offer a "tubless" subscription offer (Check out the December Tubless review here!). This is the subscription for someone looking to add a little extra luxury to their monthly bath routine with the added bonus of being surprised by the products curated around a fun theme. If you're a fan of artisan bath products this is a subscription box worth checking out- in this new year you deserve a little extra self care.

I am a staunch believer that pineapple doesn’t belong on pizza and when I’m not working as a family law attorney I enjoy hiking the Louisiana trails (alligator sightings are a favorite!) or relaxing with Duchess, my cat. I’m a sucker for anything labeled a mystery box and I’ve never met a bath bomb I didn’t like.

I LOVE Bath Bevy, too. I skipped the Feb. boxes because hubby bought me a huge amount of Lush products from our area shop. Turns out, they are way too scented and the coloring is way too much for me as well. Now I wish I’d gotten my always fun and dependable Bath Bevy boxes. I get the regular and tubless every month.
I also buy every collection FCS releases and wish it was still reviewed here, both the FCSOTM box and the collections. FCS complements Bath Bevy very well, as they have a lot more creams and lotions and it’s all so nicely fragranced.

I wish they’d send your box in advance so I’d be more attuned to what they’re going to send. Some companies do, some don’t, I know.:)
The boxes are ALWAYS full of beautiful products that are healthy and add to our senses in many ways, physical and emotional well-being. I was able to use your reviews to know what the contents and your opinions of 3 boxes last summer were like, and bought them in the recent buy 2 boves, get 1 box free. Thank you for the archived reviews as well.

I have loved the last few months of this box(I am a fairly new subscriber)! Everything smelled heavenly this month! The scrubs are an everyday must have before shaving and the whipped soaps are a new favorite to use while shaving lol!
