Bath Bevy is a subscription box for those who love self-care. Each month subscribers will receive a thoughtfully curated box featuring bath bombs, bath salts, and other bath products from various indie brands. If you aren't a fan of baths, Bath Bevy even has a Tubless subscription option, where you'll receive handmade bath and body goodness without a single item that requires running a bath. When you subscribe to Bath Bevy, you can expect to bathe in luxury no matter if you're standing in a shower or sitting in a tub.

This is a review of the Tubless Bath Bevy box, which will not send bath bombs, bubble bars, or any other bathing product you need a bath tub for.

First Impressions

This subscription comes packaged in a blue and white box, and when you open it you find the items thoughtfully tucked inside of sizzle and tissue paper and sealed with a sticker. You can really tell Bath Bevy pays attention to detail by how they pack their box. There is also an info sheet detailing the products included.

We got a small present included in our box this month too, which I thought was a thoughtful touch.

Bath Bevy "Home for the Holidays” Tubless December 2022 Review

Tree Farm Shower Steamers -Retail Value $12

I have a bit of a candle addiction, and when I’m bringing a new candle into my life there’s a good chance it has a woodsy scent of some sort because I absolutely adore them (Nest Birchwood Pine and Otherland Fallen Fir are particular favorites that come to mind). I saw all of that to help explain just how excited I was when I saw these tree farm shower steamers- I may have actually squealed. These steamers are scented with notes of evergreen, apple, and holly berry. I do feel like these steamers dissolved in the water a little quicker than I’ve come to expect, but I loved the way these scented the air.

Candy Cane Shower Steamers - Retail Value $12

Right after my love of woodsy candles comes my love of peppermint candles- I am currently on a mission to try and find a large version of the Voluspa Crushed Candy Cane candle on sale. These smell like the crisp, cool, peppermint oil they’ve been scented with, and while at first it was a little jarring to look down on my shower floor and see the vivid red everywhere, I’m happy to report these didn’t stain.

Holiday Garland Whipped Soap Scrub - Retail Value $15

I adore Bath Bevy’s whipped soap scrub formula- it’s like 95% whipped soap, 5% sugar “scrub,” so any exfoliating is very very mild- this is gentle enough for me to use every day. Holiday Garland is a scent blend of honey crisp apple, lemon, pineapple, and pine garlands, and I enjoy the fruit mixed with the woodsy pine note.

Gingerbread Waffles Body Wash - Estimated Value $12

I like the Bath Bevy body wash formula- it's not too drying but still gets my skin clean, and the scent blends are always on point. Gingerbread Waffles is a mix of ginger, nutmeg, cinnamon, sugar, and vanilla, and it left my skin smelling softly sweet even once it was rinsed away.

Valley Candles Peppermint Bark Candle - Estimated Value $12

I love that the tubless version of this subscription frequently sends candles (I have a thing for them, can’t you tell?). This one is deliciously scented with notes of chocolate and peppermint, and the gourmand twist on it makes it a little more yummy, a little less crisp compared to the candy cane shower steamers. The candle is made with soy wax and cotton wick, so it burns cleanly, too.

Frosty Soap Bar - Estimated Value $9

I’m pretty partial to the whipped soaps that appear in almost every Bath Bevy box compared to soap bars, but I am absolutely charmed by this light blue soap that features Frosty the Snowman himself right in the middle. It’s scented with notes of cherry, lemon sugar, and lime, and I’m really loving the citrus notes.

Value – Was This Box Worth It?

The Cost: $43.21 per month + $7.95 shipping.

Value Breakdown: Everything in this box is handmade by Bath Bevy. All of the prices add up to $72, which is more than the cost of the box plus shipping.

Key Takeaways

Even though I love baths and bath bombs, I quite enjoy the Tubless Bath Bevy subscription! I always look forward to the shower steamers that will be included, and whipped soaps and candles are frequently scent as well. This box does a good job of giving the user a lovely sensorial experience, and I appreciate that. I thought there was going to be more overlap between this box and the standard Bath Bevy subscription, but the frosty soap is the only item that was the same in both boxes this month, and I believe this is only the second time that there's been true duplicates at all- color me impressed. If you love using artisan bath products but taking baths isn't your thing, I recommend checking out the Bath Bevy tubless subscription.

I am a staunch believer that pineapple doesn’t belong on pizza and when I’m not working as a family law attorney I enjoy hiking the Louisiana trails (alligator sightings are a favorite!) or relaxing with Duchess, my cat. I’m a sucker for anything labeled a mystery box and I’ve never met a bath bomb I didn’t like.
