First Impressions

This subscription comes packaged in a blue and white box, and when you open it you find the items thoughtfully tucked inside of sizzle and tissue paper and sealed with a sticker. You can really tell Bath Bevy pays attention to detail by how they pack their box. There is also an info sheet detailing the products included.

Bath Bevy "Cozy Mood” November 2022 Review

Caramel Rum Cake Whipped Soap Scrub - Retail Value $15

Regardless of if you subscribe to the standard Bath Bevy box or the tubless version, I think you can count on getting a whipped soap scrub in every box. If you've never tried a whipped soap or whipped soap scrub, you're missing out- I find it makes sudsing up a lot more fun than holding a bar of soap because of the whipped texture, and while there is a mix of sugar in the formula, the "scrubby" part of the experience is gentle and not too abrasive. My boss's two-year-old actually loves to use these to play with when he takes a bath, which means my boss loves them because she can get her two-year-old to take a bath! I couldn't find the scent notes of Caramel Rum Cake, but I could definitely pick up the caramel notes in this sweet gourmand soap.

Cozy Vanilla Bubble Bath Bottle, 9 oz - Retail Value $12

Bath Bevy can make a good bubble bath- I only need a little bit for a good amount of fluffy bubbles, and I like that the bubbles stay awhile before slowly popping away. The cozy vanilla scent is a classic vanilla, and it paired perfectly with the vanilla sandalwood bath bomb that was also sent in this month's box.

Vanilla Sandalwood Bath Bomb - Retail Value $8

Sandalwood and vanilla is such a lovely pairing- I love it in perfumes and colognes, and I loved it in this bath bomb. I added this to a full bath that also had bubbles from the cozy vanilla bubble bath, and I was in sensorial heaven. And while I loved it, this definitely is more of a genderless fragrance- I could definitely have handed this bath bomb to my fiancé and he would have enjoyed it just as much.

Here it is in action.

Bathorium Ancient Oat Hydration Crush Bath Soak - Retail Value $8

This bath soak was lovely- it's made with rice milk, colloidal oat, calendula petals, lavender essential oil, sandalwood, chamomile, and dead sea salt. To err on the side of caution I did put this inside of an organza bag before adding it under running water to avoid any potential mess once I was done bathing, and I loved how delicious this smelled thanks to the sandalwood and lavender. This left my skin feeling noticeably softer, too, which is much appreciated in this cold weather.

Cozy Fig Hand Sanitizer Spray, 2 oz - Retail Value $8

This hand sanitizer has scent notes of amber, sweet vanilla, ripe plum, and fig, and it's made with 70% Ethyl Alcohol (which is over the CDC-recommended 60%) and aloe vera to add some moisture to your skin while the alcohol kills the germs. I like the way this smells, and how I now have a hand sanitizer with a scent that matches the season we're in.

Chillax Bath Bomb - Retail Value $8

November and December seem to annually be the month of headaches for me, so I welcome any bathing products that promote relaxation. This bath bomb is scented with notes of lavender and citrus and smells absolutely divine, and I love how when I added it to a tub of warm water it created a steamy aromatherapy cloud that helped with the tension I was holding in my face. The pretty lilac color was nice to look at, too.

Value – Was This Box Worth It?

The Cost: $43.21 per month + $7.95 shipping.

Value Breakdown: Everything in this box is handmade by Bath Bevy. All of the prices add up to $59, which is more than the cost of the box plus shipping.

Key Takeaways

I thought this month's Bath Bevy box smelled lovely and really fit with their "cozy mood" theme. As a bath bomb lover, I am always happy to open up a subscription box and see two bath bombs inside, but the bath soak from Bathorium was a nice change of bathing pace this month. Bath Bevy does a good job creating artisan products under their label, and whenever they feature another brand it is always a special treat. If you don't take baths, don't let that deter you from subscribing- they also offer a "tubless" subscription offer (Check out the October Tubless review here!). This is the subscription for someone looking to add a little extra luxury to their monthly bath routine with the added bonus of being surprised by the products curated around a fun theme. If you're a fan of artisan bath products or just love self-care, this is a subscription box worth checking out.
