Cat Lady Box is a monthly subscription box for cat ladies (or anyone who is crazy about cats)! The $34.99 per month Cat Lady Box has 2-3 cat-themed items – wearables, items for the home, books, etc., while the $39.99 per month Crazy Cat Lady Box contains everything from the Cat Lady Box plus a few items just for cats.
This is a review of the Crazy Cat Lady Box.
This box was sent to us at no cost for review. (Check out our editorial guidelines to learn more about how we review boxes.)
As soon as the box arrives, you know your cat-loving heart is in for a good time. Everything arrives in a brown cardboard box with a black cat silhouette on it. Once you open it up, you can expect to find anything from cat-themed jewelry, clothes, home decor, and more. If you subscribe to the Crazy Cat Lady box, you'll also get a few treats for your furbaby, too.
This box does come with an info sheet, and each month they feature custom artwork. This month's artist was Monika Suska.
The Breakdown – What’s Inside The October Crazy Cat Lady Box
First, let's meet the cat that will be helping me to review this box. If you've been reading my MSA reviews for a while, you may remember my old cat, Duchess. Duchess is no longer here with me, and after a few months, I felt ready to get another cat companion. Meet Sir Goose! I adopted him when he was one month and twenty-two days old, and he was 2.2 pounds. Now he is a year old and he loves toys—I have yet to find a toy he won't play with.
Goose just recently had his annual visit with the vet, and we found out how much he weighs. Goose weighs thirteen pounds- I knew he was a big boy, but I can't believe I got him when he was 2.2 pounds and now he's 13!
Black Cat Fan Club Tee - Retail Value $21.99
I love the tee shirts that this subscription box sends- they are cut longer in the torso, and as someone with a long torso and a thicker midsection, I just feel a lot more comfortable wearing shirts like these. So wear them I do- my cat lady shirts get a lot of use, especially if I’m going to be doing any type of exercising. I love the rich maroon color of this shirt, and I do think black cats are awesome- I have no problem stating I’m a member of the black cat fan club.
Goose, though, had some FEELINGS about me being a member of the black cat fan club when he is an orange feline.
Black Cats Magnet Set - Retail Value $14.99
I was STOKED when I saw this magnet set in the box- my fridge is in desperate need of more magnets. Isn’t it fun when there’s something practical we need in our lives that unexpectedly shows up in a subscription box? Each colorful circle magnet features a cute black cat. These aren’t the strongest magnets I’ve ever used but they are still effective-I just have to use two magnets per item I am hanging on the fridge. If more subscription boxes want to send more magnets, I still have room on my fridge (though it’ll be tough for them to send cuter magnets than these).
Black Cats Blanket - Listed Value $18.99
Y’all, this blanket is SO soft and cozy. It’s not very thick, and yet it still is a super cuddly blanket that gives a fair amount of warmth. The white background with black cats is such a fun print, too.
I’m not the only one who thinks this blanket is cozy- Goose got cuddly with it real fast, too.
Black Cat Paw Catnip Toy - Listed Value $4.99
There is typically a toy that Goose kinda likes and a toy Goose LOVES in each months box, and this month, this black cat paw is the toy Goose just kinda likes.
He gave it some sniffs and a few polite licks, but I wouldn’t say he actually felt called to play with it.
Meowgical Pineapple Kitty Catnip Toy - Retail Value $5.99
This toy, though, was a winner. Along with having an adorable Pineapple hat that’s removable, it has a long enough body with enough substance that he’s able to hold onto it with his paws and move it around and cuddle with it and just generally do adorable playful cat things with it.
I mean, look at him laying on his back like a sea otter (on a cozy blanket instead of an ocean) with the toy nestled in between his paws while he plays? I am deceased, the cuteness factor is officially on overload.
Value – Was This Box Worth It?

Everything in this box is unique to the subscription, so I have to go by listed values (though some of the products are available for sale in the Cat Lady shop!). The values add up to $66.95.
Oh, I love my Cat Lady Box Subscription. I was really looking forward to this Black Cat box (my first Cat Lady box I ever reviewed was the October 2021 Black Cat box!), and I think Cat Lady Box delivered a fun box with cute curation and useful items. This box was a major success for me because it was so clear that Goose was loving the products sent. I love that I get to share this box with him, and he was just extra playful with the items sent this month. I d0 feel like I received a personal value of more than the subscription box cost of $39.99 here, but I think that personal value feeling is going to depend on how useful you find the items. If you have cats and/or like cat-themed things, I recommend checking this subscription box out. If you're looking for fun cat-themed items you can enjoy around your home and share with your feline friend, you're going to see a lot more value in this box than someone who is going strictly off of listed values (or who desires brand name products in a box).
