Winter is coming and we do a good amount of fires throughout the season so this seemed like a nice box to surprise my husband with!

Firewood Log Carrier by Readywares - Retail Value $39.99

The main item in our box is this sturdy waxed cotton canvas bag to haul firewood in. It measures 39" x 18" and the waxed cotton makes it water resistant. I think it's very nice looking, and while it's definitely not a necessity, this will be so nice for my husband to have for the winter season when he goes out to grab firewood for us. It just eliminates those little wood pieces that seem to cling to your clothing and with our 8-month-old crawling around everywhere these days, it's nice to be able to eliminate one more thing from our floor for him to inevitably put in his mouth!
The straps are made from heavy-duty cotton/poly that are then wrapped with canvas for comfort. So far, they seem like they will do the trick and the bag is a decent size. You can see my husband was able to fit a good bit of firewood inside the bag.
Open Fire Glove by Barebones - Retail Value $29.99

These gloves are nice and long making it easy to grab the firewood and fill the bag. They are made from thick fire-resistant full-grain cowhide leather which means they can protect against heat, coal, and sparks as well. These will be perfect for when we use our firepit, too! They seem quite durable as well.
Easy Spark Tinders by Zippo - Retail Value $5.95

The last item will be perfect for getting those fires going, especially if the conditions are a bit windy thanks to the little hole in the center of these and the water-resistant paraffin wax coating. They are made of compressed cotton and there are 10 tinders that burn for up to five minutes each. These are small and lightweight, and the packaging is resealable so these would be ideal for camping trips!
Value - Was This Box Worth It?
The Cost: $56.89
Value Breakdown: We received a firewood carrier, gloves, and some spark tinders all with a total retail value of $75.93. That seems pretty fair for the cost of this box!
