Bespoke Post is a monthly membership club that delivers high-quality lifestyle products from up-and-coming brands. It’s voted as one of the best men’s subscription boxes of 2022 by our readers and it’s a great box for women and couples as well.

When you sign up, there’s a quiz to determine your preferences and interests, then you’re matched with a new themed box every month. For $49 per month, each box promises at least $70 in retail value with items ranging from outdoor gear, barware, home, and kitchen goods, clothing, and more.

Unlike most subscription boxes, you get to preview your Bespoke Post box before it ships and you can easily swap for a different box or skip the month for no charge. You only pay for the months that interest you.

This is a review of the "Jam" box.

This box was sent to us at no cost for review. (Check out our editorial guidelines to learn more about how we review boxes.)

First Impressions

Bespoke Post always has a good presentation. They've recently redesigned their boxes, but they are still instantly recognizable. I like that they have the perfect box or bag for any item you order. It box typically comes with a card to let you know what's inside, as well as a little bit about each item. This month's card did not mention the item I ordered, but instead came with a Spotify playlist.

FRESHeTECH All Terrain Sound 360 Waterproof Speaker - Retail Price $99.99

As a pool owner, I've been in the market for a good poolside speaker for a few years. I think I've found the speaker that is just right for me. It is the FRESHeTECH All-Terrain Sound 360. It is IPX7 waterproof, which means it’ll be fine completely submerged in water for a few minutes. It boasts a 10 m transmission distance, two 6-watt speakers, 7 hours of rechargeable battery life, and a built-in microphone for calls. It connects via Bluetooth or 3.5mm audio cable and–something that impressed me–there is an option to sync multiple speakers. It's 7 inches tall and weighs in at 1.19 pounds. It has a little strap to hang it or just carry it around your wrist. The buttons are simple and intuitive. Most importantly, the sound is great. I don't want to sound like a homer, but this is just about everything I've wanted in a waterproof speaker. My only complaint at the moment is changing the volume is not only hit or miss, but whenever I do hit the button correctly it makes a sound to let me know I did it. You don't have to interrupt my jam to let me know I've changed the volume. Just do it. And you can't just hold in the button to change it a lot, because holding in the button will change the track. So you have to hit it over and over again and hear the beep to let you know you pushed the button. But once you get it set, it's party time.

Unfortunately, it is no longer summer, but no worries. Just because it's built for the poolside doesn't mean you can use it for campfires, hitting the links, or, as we did, putting up Halloween decorations. In fact, we also have a hot tub. So we can rock this thing all winter. Heck, you could use it in the shower. We even used it with our new outdoor projector to get the volume a bit louder. Overall, it's so good I'm almost mad I didn't get it earlier. It retails for as much as the "Amp" box I ordered at the beginning of this year and is better in every way.

Verdict

This is now the third time this year I've ordered a speaker from Bespoke Post (if you count the headphones.) I think I'm finally done, as now I have one for my head, inside, and outside ... although I may just use this one for everything. I'm going to say this is in my top 3 favorite orders from Bespoke Post and like I said, I'm almost mad I didn't get it earlier. It's sleek, intuitive, and plenty loud. I would even consider getting a second one to sync and have surround sound. If you're in the market for a waterproof speaker or just one to have outside while you work or play, I definitely suggest this one.

Let's Talk About Value

This speaker retails at $100. That is $46 saved with this subscription ($54 including shipping). Since I've been wanting one of these for years, I'm very excited to get exactly want I want for essentially half price. With the money I saved, I may buy something else for our pool/hot tub, since all that stuff is also half price this time of year.

To Wrap Up

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Yes, the "Jam" is available at the time of this post.

It says +coupon but I don’t see the coupon. I checked the other BeSpoke posts that say +coupon but haven’t seen one. Is there a coupon?

Thank you for pointing this out. It seems that this was a remnant of past reviews that I continued to keep in the title, despite it no longer being accurate. I brought this to the attention of the higher-ups and they have corrected the titles. Thank you again for mentioning it and my apologies for the misinformation.
