This is a review of the standard Bath Bevy box, which sends products for bath lovers.

First Impressions

This subscription comes packaged in a blue and white box, and when you open it you find the items thoughtfully tucked inside of sizzle and tissue paper and sealed with a sticker. You can really tell Bath Bevy pays attention to detail by how they pack their box. There is also an info sheet detailing the products included.

Bath Bevy "Summer Vibes” July 2022 Review

Raspberry Lemonade Bath Bomb, 7 oz - Estimated Retail Value $8

Lemonade is one of my favorite drinks, so I love when bath products are scented after it. Raspberries are also one of my favorite fruits, so this was like a pairing designed especially for me. The pink and yellow streams of color that came from this bath bomb once it met the water were summery and fun, and the color definitely gives me a pink lemonade vibe.

Banana Kiwi Bath Bomb, 7 oz - Estimated Retail Value $8

Banana kiwi definitely isn't a scent combination I would have thought of on my own, but it's quite fruity and encapsulates that "summer vibes" theme the box has going on. The green and yellow color of the bath bomb created vivid green, yellow, and blue colors once it was added to water, and there was a strong staying power to its fizziness.

I tried this out with a few LUSH bath bombs and I had a blast, so I wanted to give it a shot with the two bath bombs from Bath Bevy this month- using them both at the same time! It's definitely a luxurious experience (a fun one at that), and I loved seeing how the colors from the different bombs interacted with each other.

Whipped Soap Scrub in Cherry Lemonade - Estimated Retail Value $15

I don't know if it is a guarantee that each month you'll receive a whipped soap scrub in your Bath Bevy box, but I've received a new one in each box since I've started reviewing the monthly box. I like getting these whipped soaps, though- the scrub part is incredibly mild so I don't have to worry about over-exfoliating my skin, and I much prefer the soft and fun texture of whipped soap to a bar of soap. This scrub reminds me of the tasty drink I tend to order at Sonic when I visit in the summer months, and left my skin feeling soft.

Melon Mist Whipped Soap - Estimated Retail Value $15

Along with our soap scrub we also received this whipped soap this month, for when you need to get clean without any of the exfoliating. The soap has a really lightweight texture, and I really enjoyed the melon scent that remind me of watermelon-flavored bubble gum.

Blue Raspberry Bubble Bar, 5 oz

I have tried enough products from Bath Bevy to be able to confidently say they know how to make something that bubbles. My favorite feature of bubble bars is how portable they are- I have been prioritizing staying in hotels with nice bath tubs lately, and a bubble bar is so much easier to travel with than a jug of liquid bubble bath. A small piece of this crumbled under running water made a nice amount of bubbles that smelled like raspberries and cotton candy, and I had plenty left for at least three or four additional baths.

Caribbean Coconut Epsom Salt, 16 oz

I absolutely love epsom salt bath soaks, and stock up on them at Ulta any time there is a good GWP deal I want to take advantage of. There's not a lot of variety in the scents Ulta carries, though, so I was stoked to get a bag of this cheerful yellow coconut milk-scented epsom salt. I actually added this to the same bath I used the bath bombs in because I was in a big treat myself mood, and the combination of scents made me feel like there was a tropical smoothie somewhere just waiting for me.

Value – Was This Box Worth It?

The Cost: $43.21 per month + $7.95 shipping.

Value Breakdown: Everything in this box is handmade by Bath Bevy. I can normally look up all of the prices online, but their website seemed to be going through edits and I couldn't find some of the items. Since this box costs $43.21 and there were 6 items this month, each item costs around $8.52 (including the cost of shipping).

Key Takeaways

I thought this month's Bath Bevy box smelled delightful. The "summer vibes" of the box really translated to "summer smoothie," and I loved all of the scents and how nicely they smelled combined together. As a lover of baths I always get excited to see things like bath salts and bath bombs inside, but if you don't take baths, don't let that deter you from subscribing- they also offer a "tubless" subscription offer. This is the subscription for someone looking to add a little extra luxury to their monthly bath routine with the added bonus of being surprised by the products curated around a fun theme. If you're a fan of artisan bath products or just love self-care, this is a subscription box worth checking out.
