I am a new Charmer and so far unimpressed. I got 3 out of 5 products that are not in the color range I chose and I will never use them. I heard the July box sucks too but I can’t cancel my subscription because the URL I get in my email is timed out by the time it shows up. The email address to submit a cancellation request goes nowhere.

I’m hoping that my products will be better this month, the last few have been not so great

They should not have a choice between two palettes. How about a palette and something else entirely? And why even have a palette as a choice every month anyway?

Since Dr. Brandt is dead, he doesn’t own anything. So they cannot say that the brand is LGBTQ-owned. It used to be. Probably owned by a conglomerate now.

Maybe they should use founded instead of owned

I was coming here to say the same thing. I find it strange to make a call out that Dr Brandt Skincare is LGBTW owned. Dr Brand died in 2015. Dr Brandt Skincare is privately owned with the owner of record not being public information. The current President & CEO is a heterosexual cisgender male married to a cisgender female. The company does sponsor and fund the Dr Brandt Foundation, which supports mental health and well-being of underserved communities, but I find calling them LGBTQ owned when the owner of record isn’t public to be a kind of gross callout and a way to latch on to pride month.

I finally cancelled. I’m so tired of getting broken/leaking items or missing items. I gave up on contacting CS because I don’t seem to get replacements. Good luck to everyone with subscriptions.

How were you able to cancel? The URL is timed out by the time I get the email and none of the email addresses to send a cancellation to are working. No number to call either. I’m trapped in cosmetic hell.

I don’t understand…. I received the plum serum in my base box for May and now it’s a Premium June choice. Also, I received the elemis facial cream in my Premium May box and now it’s a Luxe choice for June. What is going on with Boxy?!?

I received the Haus Lab shadow in the same color 2 months in a row. That upset me. I’ve also gotten 3 Illamasqua palettes just since October of 2021. It’s aggravating because I’m paying to get different items, they even say they won’t repeat an item “unless it’s in a different shade”

Ipsy is what’s going on.

They have repeat products. If you look at past boxes close in time with each other they often times have some of the same stuff. In fact I’ve received the same eye cream in three different boxes when I’ve stated explicitly that I do not want it.

WOW…2 selections and only eyeshadows at that..how bad boxy..

Hi – does anyone know if there are set products that come in the 50% off box or is it May’s products? Hope that makes sense 🙂

I used it to resub in February and received last July’s box. I cancelled and then used it last month and received Mays box. And a good one at that. I’m wondering if it’s because in February I resubbed after the 15th but last month I did it on the 1st.

Cynthia

I bought one in February and received the current box but some have said they received a past box.

Wendy

It’s usually a random box from previous year. I don’t think it’s a set month but definitely not May as far as I know.

Kathy S.

I believe it’s Monday May 9th for choice for June’s box.

Reply ButtonReply

Nancy

Is the date right for choice day? June 9th seems to be a little late in choosing your product considering payment comes out on the 1st of every month.

Reply ButtonReply

Melissa

Good catch! They must mean May 9.
