Now, on to the items!
Lina Hanson: Global Face Serum, 1 fl oz - Retail Value $90
So I spent this last few weeks being insanely sick. Like the kind of sick where you mouth breathe all night for days and days and you dehydrate your own face. I was really gross and certainly not cute! My face was MAD. The worst area was around my nostrils which were nearly cracking from the air and my running nose. Aside from my diet of orange juice and Nyquil, this serum has been a staple for me recently. The nourishing ingredients inside (Baobab seed oil, argan, marula, tea seed oil, and more) soothed and moisturized my stressed-out skin and left a glow that made me look a lot less dreadful than I felt. I would certainly classify this blend as more of a face oil than a serum. It is heavier than I think most people would consider a serum. But gosh, it was a lifesaver. And the scent of orange blossom and frankincense was uplifting (and reminded me that I still could smell!).
Blüh Alchemy: Multi-C Serum 1 fl oz - Retail Value $140
I have actually gone through an entire bottle of this liquid gold before, and with a price tag like that, I am stoked to have another. This bottle holds a power couple: vitamin C and ferulic acid. We all know by now that vitamin C can be more than a little unstable and prone to oxidization. Ferulic acid stabilizes this diva and enhances UV protection. What this means for you is the benefits of vitamin C (fading hyperpigmentation, boosting collagen, etc) boosted by the protection of ferulic acid, which in itself is a powerful antioxidant. Winning! This formula is a cheerful yellow, absorbs easily, smells like geranium and citrus, and is still like $30 cheaper than the other C+Ferulic cult favorite that comes to my mind. So if you end up buying this eventually, it hurts 30 dollars less.
SNOW FOX SKIN CARE: Pre+ Probiotic Sake Mask - Retail Value $12
My last goodie is a mask from Snow Fox Skincare. Aside from the stunning branding, this mask has goodness inside too. It contains 5 different probiotics meant to strengthen the skin's moisture barrier. I certainly noticed hydration and smoothness after wearing it for 20 minutes.
This Laurel & Reed was beautifully curated and themed around that blue artwork on the card. This is one of those boxes that gets presentation down perfectly, and always delivers a great value. I tallied $242 worth of skincare magic inside this month's box which is a truly excellent value for the subscription cost. And the formulas this month? A freaking dream. I absolutely adore the oil serum and the vitamin C arrived at a time when I needed a new C serum anyways. I will always be happy to get a bottle of this one!
