Fabletics is a monthly fitness apparel subscription co-founded by Kate Hudson. In fact, it's one of our readers' top picks for Best Fitness Subscription Boxes of 2022! The VIP Membership is $49.95/month and allows you to choose from outfits and sets that have been put together just for members at a discounted price.

In Minnesota, though it is the middle of April, it feels as if it is day 108 of January. With more snow, crazy winds, and ice in the forecast, I am ready to hunker down with a blanket in front of the fireplace and hibernate until the sunshine arrives. Because the warm weather has decided not to show, I decided to opt for an outfit that featured a snuggly, cozy sweatshirt paired with olive green spandex shorts. Perfect for binge-watching Bridgerton or sitting by the campfire, I just had to try the top, while the shorts were a bonus. Read more below.

Fabletics April 2022 Delivery

Zaylee Funnel Neck Tunic - Retail Value $89.95

Though I thought I would be soon packing my sweatshirt collection up to ready for warmer weather, this super soft, cotton, and polyester tunic couldn't have come at a more appropriate time. Being perfect as a base layer for snowmobiling, or paired with shorts or leggings for lounging, this long sleeved, kangaroo-style pouch top has quickly become a staple in my wardrobe. With thumbholes to keep the arms from sliding up in my winter jacket, and the lack of a bulky hood, I am impressed with not only the quality, but the comfort and fit as well. I tend to veer away from turtleneck style tops as I find them unflattering on my body type, but just couldn't resist the coziness this piece has to offer. Available in warm white and faded denim, I just may have to keep an eye on this to see if they decide to put it on clearance!

Define High-Waisted Short 9" - Retail Value $59.95

Last month I discovered a pair of brilliantly colored running shorts that I absolutely fell head over heels for, but this month I decided to opt for a pair of compression shorts in a much more muted tone. In a beautiful sage green color, these stretchy, chafe-resistant shorts are fantastic at flattering any figure while doing yoga, boxing, or just cooking the big Easter meal. I do already own this particular pair of shorts in black, and have to say they wash up fabulously, look brand new despite a ton of wear, and are super comfortable. I also want to mention, these magic little beings come complete with a pocket, and work super great under a flowy skirt in case of a gust of wind!

Here are the two pieces together:

Leisure 2-Piece Outfit - Retail Value $149.90

With my $49.95 VIP Member Credit, I was able to purchase this ultra-plush sweatshirt and compression shorts at a hugely discounted price. I could never afford a set at the original price, so to score this high-quality set for $100 less makes me very happy. Campfires and s'mores, here I come!

Verdict

This month, Fabletics messed around with their debut dates a bit. Usually dropping new styles at the beginning of the month, I tend to order early as that's when the most options are available. When I checked out the site early in the month, I discovered a lot of ads for the new line "Yitty by Lizzo" which debuted April 12th. Because I am impatient, I decided to order ahead of the style drop, and scored the sweatshirt and short set. I decided to jump on it right away as long sweatshirts are hard to come by on this site, and this girl just won't do crop tops. Because the retail prices for Fabletics are kind of insane, I recommend signing up to be a VIP and using the monthly credit to purchase sets. If individual pieces are your jam, they offer sales quite frequently giving you the biggest bang for your buck. I was very happy with this month's outfit, and you can bet I will be spending our April blizzard in it. I can't wait to see what's in store for May! Maybe something from the "Yitty" line?

Other Things You Should Know

Value Breakdown: Without the VIP Membership Credit, the "Leisure 2-Piece Outfit" retails at $149.90 for guests. Using the credit saved me almost $100 - which is pretty insane. And keeping up on your reviews earns you points for more apparel, furthering your savings!

Can you still get this set if you sign up today? Yes, though only in select sizes.
