FabFitFun is a quarterly subscription box. For $54.99 per season, subscribers can customize their own box of items in categories like beauty, fashion, and fitness. It's our readers' top pick for the Best Subscription Boxes of 2022, in categories for Women, Fitness, and more.

Special Note: As many of our readers know, there was some confusion with my original Spring box customization. In the transition of reviewers of this box, I wasn't able to customize my PR box, but was able to get a second box to customize for review. Thanks to our readers for everyone's communication, feedback, and patience as we navigate this change.

This box was sent to us at no cost for review. (Check out our editorial guidelines to learn more about how we review boxes.)

What's Inside Our FabFitFun Spring 2022 Assortment

Choice 1

All subscribers were able to pick one of the following for their Spring Box:

  • Alice + Olivia Daisy Print Duffel Bag + Bucket Hat
  • Fenty Beauty Diamond Bomb All-Over Diamond Veil in Royal Icing
  • Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb Heat Universal Lip Luminizer + Plumper in Hot Cherry & Lemon Lava Bundle
  • Fenty Beauty Killawatt Freestyle Highlighter in Girl Next Door/Chic Phreak
  • L*SPACE Coastal Cooler
  • Morgan Lane Allie Robe in Navy Floral or White Floral
  • Caravan Home Lazy Susan – Wood
  • Christophe Robin Regenerating Mask With Prickly Pear Oil

My Pick: Christophe Robin Regenerating Mask With Prickly Pear Seed Oil, 8.4 fl oz. - Retail Value $69

I have been coloring my hair since I was in 4th grade. Add thick curls, postnatal hair loss, and breakage, and my hair really has been through it! I love trying hair masks to hopefully give my hair some needed love. This mask is made with prickly pear concentrate, which focuses on improving the appearance of split ends while making your hair feel stronger, silky, and glossy. I used this all over my hair, wrapping it up and keeping it on for about 5 minutes before rinsing. My hair was so easy to brush out, and even on our first warm spring day, my hair felt soft. My curls were defined without looking big and frizzy. My hair color even looked a bit brighter and more vibrant, even though it is a few weeks old. Since this product is so expensive, I could see myself only using it once a month, maybe slightly more in the summer, but all I know is that this would be worth every penny if it continues to keep my hair looking healthy!

Choice 2

All subscribers will be able to pick one of the following for their Spring Box:

  • Farmacy Honey Halo Ultra-Hydrating Ceramide Moisturizer
  • Perricone MD High Potency Classics: Face Finishing & Firming Moisturizer
  • ban.do Stemless Acrylic Wine Glass Set of Four with Glitter Infusion
  • Caudalie Vinopure Oil Control Moisturizer
  • Yoga Wake Up, Inc. 3 Months Audio Guided Yoga App Subscription + Acupressure Pillow
  • Splendid Faux Fur Slippers - Crystal Pink
  • Kate Spade Keaton Pouch Wristlet

My Pick: Farmacy Honey Halo Ultra-Moisturizing Ceramide Moisturizer, 1.7 fl oz – Retail Value $45

Honey is a product that I haven't tried when it comes to my skincare products, so I was really interested in this face moisturizer. Buckwheat honey is an antioxidant-rich, ultra-hydrating ingredient that renews your skin's appearance and leaves it with a lasting healthy glow. The plant-based ceramides replenish the skin's barrier along with vitamin E and shea butter to lock in moisture. This moisturizer also contains fig fruit extract to leave your skin smooth and supple. I really am loving this moisturizer so far! It is really thick so a little goes a long way, which is why I really love the little spoon that came with it so you can carefully take out the amount you need. They say that this is good to use in the am and pm, but I am honestly finding that it is slightly too heavy with my makeup. This works wonders for me as a nighttime cream and leaves my skin feeling alive again, and I wake up with a healthy glow that really lasts.

Choice 3

All subscribers will be able to pick one of the following for their Spring Box:

  • Kate Somerville ExfoliKate® Intensive Pore Exfoliating Treatment
  • Privé Revaux The Juliet Black Sunglasses
  • Kate Spade Mini Small Square Studs - Opal Glitter
  • Erin Condren Design Stationery Bundle
  • Gaiam Ultimate Core Toning Kit
  • Shoshanna Umbrella

My Pick: Privé Revaux The Juliet Black Sunglasses - Retail Value $39.95

I always seem to end the summer with all of my sunglasses either getting lost or ruined so by this time of year I am rushing to find new pairs before the sunshine hits. These cat-eye sunglasses are just what I needed! I really love a sleek cat-eye style because they are traditional and stylish, I can wear them with so many different outfits. What I love about this pair though is that little bit of gold at the top to sort of give them a little edge and make them that much more of a showpiece. They fit my face perfectly which is always hard for me to find glasses that fit well because I have a fairly small nose, and they are actually really comfortable. The lenses also are made from scratch-resistant acrylic, they provide 100% UVA/UVB filtering, and filter blue-light rays. These are perfect and I hope they make it all the way through the summer!

Choice 4

All subscribers will be able to pick one of the following for their Spring Box:

  • It’s A 10 Miracle Leave-In Product
  • It’s A 10 Miracle Leave-In Plus Keratin
  • It’s A 10 Coily Miracle Leave-In
  • Josie Maran Whipped Argan Oil Body Butter in Sweet Citrus
  • Favor Spoon Rest

My Pick: It's A 10 Miracle Leave-In Product, 4 fl oz - Retail Value $21

This is a product that I've tried before and a brand that I just really trust because it works! My hair is really thick and curly so I can really use a lot of this product depending on the season. I go from mid hair to the ends and it really just drinks into my hair. The leave-in allows me to get through my knots while improving the overall texture of my hair. By the middle of summer in humid Pittsburgh, this product is saving my hair!

Choice 5

Annual subscribers will be able to pick one of the following for their Spring Box.

  • Gemelli Jenna Clip Set
  • EVENPRIME Hypernova Dark Circle Reducer Eye Serum
  • Earth Harbor GLOW JUICE Refining Enzyme Mask
  • Sorbus Makeup Organizer
  • Too Faced Hangover Good in Bed Ultra-Replenishing Hydrating Serum

My Pick: Gemelli Jenna Clip Set - Retail Value $33

I honestly just had to pick these because I loved my claw clips when I was younger! I really do love that so many styles from the 90s are coming back. A little story about claw clips. I remember when they first started becoming a thing, but everyone on TV wearing them from Clueless to Friends all had straight hair. As a young girl with super curly hair, I just wanted to look like all of those girls with effortless clips. Then Will and Grace came on and Grace rocked her claw clips with her thick curly hair and my life changed forever. Who knew a hair accessory could have such a big impact on me?! My hair is super long right now so I did sort of struggle to get all of my hair into this clip, but I am going to have my Mom show me how to get everything in there easily.

Sixth Choice Item(s):

Annual subscribers will be able to pick one of the following for their Spring Box.

  • Hourglass Ambient™️ Strobe Lighting Blush in Incandescent Electra
  • The Nue Co. Topical C
  • Milly Jewelry Case
  • Butter London Teddy Girl Eyeshadow Palette
  • Coach Open Circle Necklace and Tea Rose Stud Set
  • In The Stars Lip Oil, Cuticle Crème Pen Bundle
  • Sea Mud Deep Cleansing Bar, Hair Scarf Bundle
  • Cuticle Pen, Hand Scrub Elderflower 75mL, Double Act Shadow Stick Bundle
  • Double Act Shadow Stick, In The Stars Lip Oil, Daily Facial Dry Brush Bundle

My Pick: Eyeko Double Act Shadow Stick, Human + Kind Hand Scrub Elderflower, Londontown Cuticle Pen Bundle - Retail Value $65

For this choice, I received the 3 piece bundle. My favorite item from this bundle by far is the hand scrub because my hands are in a bad way this winter. You can also use the scrub on your feet for a super quick exfoliation. It really does leave my skin feeling so soft and is helping with my dry patches. The cuticle cream is another item that I am really happy to get because my nails are also in bad shape. Dry skin and dry nails all winter for me! I love that I can just quickly dab a little of the cream onto my nails for that added moisture that is really helping my nails to feel less dry and much stronger. It is also helping with the little cracks that I get around my nails. I received the shadow stick in my first Spring Box and I have to say that I'm still not loving it. The shadow really does not go on well, it is hard to blend with the pencil, and then most of the product is off after about an hour of wear. I do love that it comes with a sharpener though because I can never have too many of those for lip liners.

Verdict

I am going to be honest, we had a rough start with my first FabFitFun box order, and my own confusion went into my original review. In turn, I think this was very confusing for our readers. Everyone's comments and feedback really allowed us to step back and work with FFF to figure out how to move forward, and this allowed me to get a box full of customizations that I selected. And wow, what a box! I have to say that being able to make your own customizations really makes a huge difference! While my retail value with this box isn't as high as my first, I love these products so much more! I got a lot of really incredible beauty products mixed in with fab sunglasses that make me feel stylish and chic and hair clips that remind me of a really important time of my life. For only $54.99 per box, I received a retail value of $272.95 in products which really is an amazing value, but most importantly the quality is where the value comes in for me. I really can't pick a favorite with this box because everything has worked so well for me personally—hello customization, you rock!

33$ for 2 hair clips? I had a double take at that.

I’ve been a member since FFF’s start. I’ve thought about canceling a few times but overall the value is still there for me.

I’m 42 and need moisture in my face so I usually pick any and all serums/ointments I can.
I was bummed that the Perricone sold out so quickly.

So my first pick was something not on the original list, the Saturday Sunday wide awake serum. They forgot to include it. Lol. So there was no first item for me. I reached out to live chat and they are sending it, in 2-4 weeks. Which is understandable.

I adore the Farmacy cream. It’s super heavy so a little goes a long way. I’ve been using the metal scraper as a gua sha. Love, love, love it.

Choice 3 was the Erin Condran stationary. It’s pretty and I’m use it. I’m a card writer through and through. I must have hundreds of cards in my card cabinet, as I send out dozens a month. So I didn’t need these but I’ll use them.

Choice 4 was Josie Maran. I wish I could have this product for life. It’s freaking amazing. It absorbs not leaves a gorgeous sheen without being oily. Holy grail for me.

Choice 5 was the Glow Juice mask. I like it but wouldn’t purchase it at retail.

Choice 6 was the vitamin c powder. It’s okay. Messy but okay. I’ve had it in the past (from Allure?) and it didn’t really make any difference.

I liked the box and loved that I could almost choose all moisturizing items.

Except for the sunglasses we have the same box (I got the stationary). I’m happy with mine and it’s good to see you were able to get the box you wanted. I kinda wish I picked the lazy susan, but I love hair products and have more than enough kitchen things I rarely use.

Well darn.
I signed up… just for the hair mask and the halo moisturizer and they’re both sold out. Not interested in anything else. Hoping they cancel & refund for me.

You’ve been dying your hair since the 4th grade? I started dying mine when i was 12 and I thought that was young lol

I have! My Mom is a hairstylist, she actually went to beauty school when I was in 4th grade so I was sort of her model as she learned.
