Now that my husband is working from home, we have been working on preparing a space for him so I thought this tray would make a nice organizer for his desk... once we get him one! I was impressed with how nice it looked right out of the box.

I did have to put it together, but fortunately, this was incredibly easy. The base is made of a nice sturdy, but lightweight aluminum in a sleek matte black color while the top is this beautiful dark beechwood. To assemble it, I simply had to place a metal pin in the center hole at the top of the aluminum base and set the beechwood tray right on top. They also included a coupon for a matching coin storage box which looks equally as nice.

The top has a magnetized lid that "floats" on top and easily swivels in any direction thanks to the pin placement. While it moves easily, the lid still remains in place once you move it where you want it. There are non-slip feet on the bottom so the whole container also stays firmly in place as you swivel away, which is oddly satisfying!

The top has various sections making it perfect for storing smaller office essentials like paperclips as well as longer items like pens or pencils. The inside is large enough to fit a wallet or even a cell phone inside. My iPhone 11 with its case fits neatly inside with a little room to spare on the sides and plenty of room above it. The actual measurements are 6.9X4.3X2.8 inches.

You may have noticed this fancy pen in the photos above. This pen, which is very aptly named, is made from brass and wood, which I think is such a pretty combo. This felt like a nice bonus that is both useful and accents our tray perfectly!

Value Breakdown: This box costs $53.95 with shipping and we received a swivel tray and a pen valued at $81.99, which adds up to a savings of just over $28.
