Did anyone actually receive their January TestTube? I pre-paid for a year subscription and I suuuuper regret it. This is actually gross that it’s February already and there has been NO communication from New Beauty to subscribers to let them know what is going on.

Since a Test tube rep seems to be answering posts here, where is the Jan Tube? I chatted over a week ago and was told it would be shipped by end of week. Never got a shipping email??? Now when I try to chat it disconnects after just a few seconds. Any replies and are others also waiting or just me?

Has anyone joined their live VIP event just wondering if it’s worth it and if there is a code out there?

Hi Jordana, I have purchased in the last 5 of these VIP boxes. I would say that it totally varies from box to box. I’ve been pleased with around 3 of them and super bummed by 1 of them and okay with 1 of them. I would say that is usually “worth” it if you buy a box AFTER the event for the next event so you get the discount. For instance this February 9th there is an event. Immediately after it ends the box for the next event will be available for purchase for approximately 24 hours at a discount (Usually $99). If you wait until closer to the event the price goes up (I’m pretty sure the upcoming February 9th event is now $159).

The brands featured are usually the same: GloSkin Beauty, Grande Cosmetics, Eminence Organic, It’s A 10!, Dr. Dennis Gross, Sonage, Living Proof, Dr. Brandt, Kaplan MD, Anastasia Beverly Hills, etc. Plus there is usually a new to me brand (or 2) featured each time but to be fair they usually seem to be good brands. I wish we could post pictures here and I would show you what I received in the last few. If you Google New Beauty VIP 2021 you can find pictures of what people received. Everyone gets the same items which I do appreciate.

To be 100% transparent, there are usually shipping issues and I have had missing items before. Customer service is NOTORIOUSLY terrible and please believe all the stories you hear about them claiming they can’t hear you, hanging up on you, being rude, etc. I promise they are all true. I’ve literally never encountered anything like it. In the end though I have always ended up receiving any missing items and even if shipping is late and I don’t have my box by the virtual event, for the value I just kind of put up with the terrible service. (I was delighted when I learned you didn’t have to be subscribed to TEST TUBE to get the VIP boxes and I dropped my subscription immediately.) I’ve always wondered why MSA does not review these seasonal VIP boxes. Anyway I hoped this helped!

I’ve discovered the secret to drinking the LIPISOMAL vitamin packets……. Capri sun! I squeezed out a shots worth of fruit punch Capri sun and then mixed the packet in it with a fork(it does mix this way) and drink it down. I can’t taste the nastyness of the vitamins.

This is on par with an Ulta 5 pc. GWP. Grande, Manna Kadar, cheap no name moisturizers and the same color lip liner and supplement packets from last month. I’ll pass.
Their customer service is gaining such a bad name for themselves that they can no longer contract with reputable companies. They block you from skipping or cancelling over the phone every time. ‘Our system is down’ ‘I can’t hear you, can you speak up?’ Click. Then they try calling back without saying anything. Before you know it your card is charged again. They use your debit card for auto withdrawals so you can’t block the charges. You have to either change your card number or somehow get them to stop. Just a bunch of useless, lazy, unprofessional scam from home low life’s. Can’t support it any longer.

Is it just me or this tube keeps getting worse and worse? I got suspish when they started charging weeks before posting the products. That’s just shady af. Told myself I would give them one last change just in case it was a one off, but it appears that this is the new normal so I am done.

MSA hasn’t made a post about the Tatcha Lucky bags so I wanted to remind everyone. I think the $200 bags are sold out but the $100 are still available!

Looking forward to this box…several good brands and products I’ll use. Not sure what I’ll think of the lip balm, but it will be fun to try. There is enough full size, quality stuff in this tube that the lip product isn’t a big deal….and if I like it that would be a bonus. I think this has a strong value.

I haven’t purchased this box in almost a year but am excited for this one. I love the Vitamin C and buying the vitamin is the same price as getting all these extra things. Am thinking of buying two of these.

Same here. I’m going to buy this box for the Vit C alone. The other products I’ll give away and the Manna Kadar will be thrown in the trash as it’s a sub box only brand that’s a verified Alibaba product.

Rebecca, I believe it was on Reddit. There was screenshots with her products next to the same Alibaba vendor’s item. Same packaging & ingredient list. Only difference was she changed the brand name. Also, you can get an idea of Alibaba products just by seeing that’s it made in China and it’s a sub box only product as it’s marketed to sub box owners to increase their overall box value. These products are dollar store quality at best.

This box has gotten so bad. On the topic of MK – FiveBelow is now selling 5 packs of Manna Kadar lip balms for $5 – so this $19 for 1 “value” is even more insane

Where has Manna Kadar been verified as an alibaba product? I’ve seen rumors on Reddit, but Reddit posters verify several companies that aren’t actually tied to alibaba.

I cancelled NewBeauty almost a year ago and happy I did. The tubes seem to be getting worse and of lower value. I used to love this sub but it’s turned into mostly junk.

Shipping has never been included it has always been an additional charge to the box itself. Price increase? I haven’t heard anything about a price increase? Where did you see that?

This is very disappointing. I got this box twice in the past and it was so good.
(Also, I think I got that mascara primer from this sub a while ago. I haven’t tried it yet, because I don’t want to have another layer of ‘stuff’ on my lashes.)

Oh well tht’s why -just ignore last part of my last comment, oops, lol. So this is suppose to be a BIG deal hence the price increase & stuff. Man, for me they REALLY missed the mark! I remember awhile back reading the reviews for this and was super-interested in (& excited by) this sub. Hasn’t been tht way for some time now, sadly.

I don’t think his is a bad box, but it certainly isn’t a great box. And Manna Kadar in NewBeauty? I thought it was supposed to be exciting brands.

The oneKind moisturizer is quite good. I’ve had 2 deluxe samples before.

I hate to be add the negativity…But yes, I agree w/your comment. There was nothing tht stood out to me except a bunch of overly priced so-so to not-known name brands. Nothing special…Retinol eye cream, MK lip gloss, a lip pencil, oh and the One Kind while looks nice the stand-out ingredients can be bought in a much cheaper option. Idk but I had no idea about the price increase?!? Or has it always been so much?? Now I need to go back and look, lol. So underwhelming.
