This makeup bag is awesome for fall! I love the use of dark colors with pops of red and green. The rubberized material is very easy to wipe clean, and this bag easily fits a day's makeup products for touchups. The message written on this bag is also very important; chances are, the people around you don't realize that you appreciate them, so it is very important to tell them now. Thank everyone this holiday season!

Yes, I hoard makeup tools, and yes I love them all. There is nothing like using a squeaky clean, factory fresh makeup brush for the first time. This can be used for an all-over powder, but it is also small enough to use for blush and bronzer. I love the rainbow brushes, but it also makes it hard to see how much product you have on the brush. Sometimes companies that make brushes like this focus more on the look and style rather than putting the effort into an effective makeup tool, but this brush head is incredibly soft and blends product like a dream.

This is hands down my new favorite discovery. I've used lip toppers before, but this is unlike any you've seen. It is hydrating, and the sheen lasts and takes an average lipstick and sets it ablaze. This vegan formula uses Oligopeptide and quinoa extract help to give the lips a fuller, lifted look without using mint or any other ingredient that causes the lips to burn or sting to create this effect. This lippie is also formulated without the use of parabens, phthalates, gluten or mineral oil, and its fruity scent is somewhat addicting.

We received this product (different shades) last month as well, but I am happy to have this formula in this compact size. These are great to tote around for touch-ups, and the colors are so easy to blend, even using a fingertip. Gold and bronze are beautiful lid shades, and they look fab together. This created a really fast and simple look that lasted nearly six hours without any creasing.

Sometimes I find myself in a packaging vs product quandary; sometimes I find myself buying products just for the limited packaging, and I have a stack of unused palettes to prove it. I love beautiful packaging, and I also love products that work. When the two worlds collide, it is like magic. Lumipeche is a great example of this; the purple floral with gold writing is gorgeous, and the powder products are like buttah'. These silky powders are extremely pigmented, but they blend like a dream.
The first two swatches are from the Jelly Pong Pong eyeshadow duo, next is the So Susan Lumipeche Palette in Rosette and finally the So Susan Gemstar Lip Topper.
I used all of the makeup included in November's bag for this look. Of course, I had to jazz it up with some glitter (hey, it's Friday!), but I thought the products provided me with a solid look without. I absolutely love the Gemstar Lip Topper, and I am devastated that I will be hiding my shiny lips behind a mask at work. I am wearing the fourth shade in the blush palette as well as the highlight and both shadows from the duo.
Verdict
This month's So Susan Color Curate was just what I needed. I love the colors included this month; while they are wearable, they are also fun and provide a lot of pigmentation. I really enjoy So Susan Color Curate for their makeup bags, too, which are always filled with cruelty-free branded makeup. I was getting a little bored of subscriptions that mostly send out skincare, so this is definitely a fun unboxing for me every month. This month's picks add up to a value of $127.95, which is awesome for a $20.95 price tag.
