First Impressions

Here is our info card with more info on this delivery’s featured brand: Lepaar. In addition to feeling edgy and stylish, this Australian brand is all about performance ingredients and the process in which you enjoy them, namely the scents, textures, and experience as a whole.

The Items

Lepaar Summer Wine Even Tone Antioxidant Shield, 15 mL – Retail Value $63

This first bottle has such a fun backstory. In 2020, one of the founders made wine and the other used the leftover plant matter and some amazing olive oil to create this wine-centered masterpiece. Inside is a blend of ingredients that could read as a whole garden symphony. Seriously, it is so refreshing to read a list where you know every single ingredient and can appreciate how botanically focused this line is. A few standouts? Grapeseed oil, chardonnay grape extract, Shiraz grape extract, strawberry seed oil, blackberry seed oil, hops, and olive oil. These add deep hydration and a huge antioxidant boost to the skin. It has a beautiful rich scent of ripe berries, wet dirt, and resins and absorbs like a dream! I loved wearing this during the day because it has so many ingredients that help protect the skin from free radicals and daily pollution.

Lepaar Elastic Love Firming Face & Neck Oil, 15 mL – Retail Value $63

This oil has a scent that is a little more earthy/funky than the previous but in a warm and wonderful way! This formulation is designed to firm and tighten skin and I found it was a great last step in my evening routine. It is also bursting with botanical extracts and is ideal for some before-bed facial massage action. Inside is prickly pear oil (one of my favorite ingredients!), extracts/oils from Kalahari melon, black currant, quince, artichoke, and more. Again, a hugely plant-centric composition. I noticed instantly soft skin, a firmer feel, and a warm and comforting sensation before bed.

Lepaar Smooth Operator Unfolding Face Balsam, 15 mL – Retail Value $63

This last blend is a real treat, especially for coffee lovers! It smells like coffee beans and resin and has a little heavier of a feel than the previous blends. Just when I thought there were no more plant extracts to squeeze into this formula, this one delivers even more variety: coffee, chia, cranberry, marshmallow, saffron, and more. And it is all combined with frankincense and myrrh for a rich (and slightly sexy!) coffee scent. This formula is designed to help smooth fine lines and wrinkles and, just like the other oils, feels amazing.

Verdict

This Boxwalla Beauty box had a total value of $189 which is great for a $49.95 box. The assortment in this delivery was absolutely delightful if you adore complex botanical blends from a brand that obviously knows the power of scent and ingredients to benefit the skin and also mentally transport you to a different place when you use their products. Sure, this on a basic level was a trio of facial oils which might not delight a subscriber who isn’t already an oil enthusiast, but I would argue it is a great way to try out oils and figure out which ingredients make your skin sing. Each blend is decidedly different and amazing in its own way and finding a favorite is a fun journey.
