Welcome to our monthly post highlighting our favorite discoveries from a variety of stationery, beauty, food subscriptions – and more. Here are our favorite subscription box items from July 2021:

Becca's Favorite:

The Item: Drizzled Milk Chocolate Wafers

The Cost: Buy a pack of 10 for $5.00

From: Universal Yums

Why I love it: I love chocolate, and in addition to wafers, cream filling, and more chocolate I just can't resist. I would refer to this particular treat as a sophisticated version of a Kit-Kat bar, and I'd be happy sampling some more!

Jessica's Favorite:

The Item: Laura Mercier Translucent Setting Powder

The Cost: $39.00 for 1 oz

From: Look Fantastic x Laura Mercier Le Box

Why I love it: I have had minis of this setting powder before and liked it, but didn’t love it. All of that changed when this came in this box and instead of trying to get the powder out of the small top, I dumped some out on a different surface and swirled my fluffy brush in it, and swept it on my face. I honestly was surprised at how nice my face looked when I was done- my pores looked blurred, it helped to soften my blush and highlighter for a more seamless look, and it looked incredibly natural while helping my makeup to last. After using this in a full Laura Mercier makeup routine, I had to go to Sephora and purchase the full-size. I regret not knowing how to fully take advantage of prior samples I had, but I’m really happy I understand it now.

Carol's Favorite:

Atlas coffee club ecuador dark roast

The Item: Ecuador Dark Roast

The Cost: $28.00 for a double bag

From: Atlas Coffee Club

ACTIVE DEAL: Use code MSA50 to Save 50% off your first subscription purchase
CODE: MSA50

Why I love it: I love coffee and I need a fresh cup as soon as possible when I open my eyes in the morning, but I do get bored with my coffee beans. Which is why I love Atlas Coffee Club Subscription because you get a new coffee roast each month from a different country around the world. I'm never tired of my daily brew because each month is something new and exciting to try all month long.

Breo Box Summer June 2021 portable vacuum

The Item: Anker HomeVac H11 Pure Eufy

The Cost: $54.99

From: BREO BOX

Why I love it: With a toddler, our house is crumb central, so my options are to clean up or live with ants. This vacuum is small, so it's easy for quick cleanups and easy to store. It works great and isn't too loud!

Lindsey's Favorite:

The Item: Bernard Lonclas Cuvee Selection Brut Champagne

The Cost: The Wine Access Discovery Club features 6 “classic and new wave bottlings” and costs $150 per quarterly shipment. Suggested MSRP for this bottle is $29.99.

From: Wine Access

ACTIVE DEAL: Get $50 off $150+ purchase- no code needed. No coupon needed - just use this link.

Why I love it: As a lover of bubbles, I’m always happy to see a bottle of Champagne in a wine subscription. (If it were up to me, they’d pop up far more frequently!) I tried Wine Access for the first time in July, and this bottle of Bernard Lonclas Cuvee Selection Brut Champagne was outstanding. It was crisp, apple-y, and very delicious. My friend’s sister just started med school, so I had a perfect celebratory excuse to pour this for guests. We all agreed that it’s a total star.

Brandi's Favorite:

The Item: The People We Keep by Allison Larkin

The Cost: $27.00

From: Book of the Month

Why I love it: This book was such a great read! I loved how much heart the characters had and the way the story unfolded. Most of the characters were really likable and I just loved reading about April’s journey. Her will to survive was admirable and while she was so hard on herself, it’s what helped her find those people in her life that were so important and eventually became her family.

Carlos's Favorite:

The Item: Original Molkky

The Cost: $35.49 (from Amazon)

From: Bespoke Post

Why I love it: There’s nothing like a little friendly competition between friends. Molkky is a lawn game that combines bowling and darts, and it goes well with a cold beverage, too. It’s perfect for a pool party, barbecue, or picnic. Once you start, you won’t want to stop.

Hi there, I'm Christen. I am all sorts of things:

🌳 a writer who loves to convey feeling

🌲 a mother who wants to have just as much fun as my kids do

🌳 an outdoors-lover who's achieved #1000hoursoutside with my family

🌲 a low-maintenance self-carer

🌳 a general hungry person with an unstoppable sweet tooth

You'll find me collecting stationery and squirreling away stickers, riding bikes and swimming with my family, creating outfits in colors and silhouettes that make me feel amazing, wearing big earrings, drinking beer and asking my husband to feed me harmonies to sing, taking my vitamins, living for dancing to live music, roping everyone into a craft, being human and vulnerable, and celebrating the phenomenon of being alive.

...and doing it all with energy, delight, and jokes along the way.

I agree. I come every few days to see if they’ve woken up…but no, peddling spam all day long. So sad!
