Hi there, I'm Christen. I am all sorts of things:

🌳 a writer who loves to convey feeling

🌲 a mother who wants to have just as much fun as my kids do

🌳 an outdoors-lover who prioritizes spending time outside with my family

🌲 a low-maintenance self-carer

🌳 a general hungry person with an unstoppable sweet tooth

You'll find me collecting stationery and squirreling away stickers, riding bikes and swimming with my family, creating outfits in colors and silhouettes that make me feel amazing, wearing big earrings, drinking beer and asking my husband to feed me harmonies to sing, taking my vitamins, living for dancing to live music, roping everyone into a craft, being human and vulnerable, and celebrating the phenomenon of being alive.

...and doing it all with energy, delight, and jokes along the way.

I think HWE Stationery should be at the top of your list. Not only do they have a huge selection of stationery items their subscription boxes are definitely the best. A different theme every month and only 35.00 a month. I have shopped here many times and love to know I am supporting a small local business. Check them out you won’t be disappointed.

Bumblebee Press Make it Happier box just launched. It’s a must try and a must add to this list.

I know all about a few different sub boxes in the stationery world, I have ordered specific items from C&P, but as far as all out overall (as a former scrapbooker and die hard crafter/planner, I am so surprised to not see Planner’s Anonymous even a choice! They are a family run, but it has been and wife team. You get so much for what you pay for. You get paper stickers stamps washi a pen and mystery item every single month and it’s under $50! Every month they come out with a new theme that could be used at any time doesn’t have to be monthly specific so if I want to use one I got last month in a year I can you should really look into them their products are amazing! They’ve even made it to the store Michaels!!?

A Real Review

Cloth and Paper has a cult follower where if you dare say the truth about the sub box yours bullied and harassed. The truth is the box shows up with typos almost every month and you won’t get the corrected items unless you request them. The last two boxes have been full of A5 items which is fine if you use that size, but when you sign up you tell them what size you use and you are told you will get items in THAT size. For the last two months this hasn’t happened, customers aren’t getting what they paid for. It’s the equivalent of ordering an XS shirt from an online boutique and being sent a 2XL. But don’t dare speak a word about this! Ashley the company owner will respond with snarky, nasty comments. The amount of screen shots going around if her being NASTY to her paying customers is absurd. So if you want to sign up for this box and get stationery items with basic misspellings and inserts missing days and sometimes months, if you want to sign up for specific sizes and get sent something totally different, if you want to be spoken down to by the owner and all her and blessed minions, this box is for you! Or if you want to be a C&P Zombie who spends 24/7 blowing flowers up the owners behind you’ll fit right in with the bunch.

Maria Campos

I’ve been a customer of Cloth & Paper’s sub box for the last 4 months and have loved every single items I have received. The company sneak peeks the sub box items, and also sneak peeked the two months we received entire planners (in A5 size) in their emails and on their IG page. I loved that they did that because it gave those an opportunity to opt of that month’s box if they did not want to get the A5 size items in lieu of their typical planner size. My planner friends and I have had nothing but fantastic interactions with both Ashley and their customer service team. I have Dmed her an received both kind and prompt responses. If I had to guess it seems like the person that wrote the above “real review” is either a competitor that is jealous or just an overall hater. Please please please do not believe the “real review”.

I have to agree with Maria, the best stationery sub box ever. I discovered Cloth & Paper by accident and i can NOT wait for my box each month and i order and re-order the items i love. The look, the quality are top notch. Everything that you get in the box is so useful and you wonder why no one else thought of it. Worth every single dollar.

chris

Yikes! This is the exact opposite of my personal experience. Definitely not a zombie; I didn’t even have time to vote for the 📦 awards this year, but I’m a fan of Cloth & Paper’s box and what they’re putting out into the world. I have always seen classy and unique items with first-rate customer service myself. Also, typos would definitely make me a little crazy on stationery and I have yet to find one. Here’s hoping for more great future boxes. 🙂

I would love CONFETTI COLLECTION to be reviewed. I’d like to see the type/ style of products they send. Thanks!

I’ve tried Confetti Collection. I received cocktail napkins, folders, ribbon, thank you cards, a magnetic notepad, paper coasters, a wine glass, a gift bag and wrapping paper sheets. It’s stuff you would pick up at Hallmark or the card aisle of a drugstore. Everything was cute and had matching designs. It’s a good box for someone who gives a lot of presents and needs ribbon and wrapping paper around.

Christen Russo

Thanks for letting us know, we’ll consider reviewing that one!

I highly recommend Mrs. Grossman’s Sticker Club for stickers. I also like La Papierre – Stationery Subscription Service. I have many pen pals and they all compliment my stickers and stationery.

The stickers from Mrs. Grossman’s look so classic! I love that you have pen pals, what a lovely way to spread light. 🙂

I tried using your discount code for Postmark’d and it didn’t work 🙁

Reply ButtonReply

Christen Russo

Hi Robyn—oh no! We tested the discount codes on our end and they seem to work. Make sure you have the right box in your cart for the code you’re using! MSAFS is just for the 1-month sub (free shipping), and MSA404ME only works on 3-month subs ($10 off your first box). Let me know if that works for you!

Reply ButtonReply

Robyn

Oh, okay. That wasn’t clear at all. I signed up for the 6-month subscription. You should add “for a one month subscription” to the MSAFS description.
