When GQ created the Best Stuff Box, the men's magazine didn't pull any punches. They promised some seriously awesome stuff would roll out of their offices. But will the Fall 2021 GQ Best Stuff Box live up to the name? We pulled together all the spoilers so you can be the judge on that.

Knickerbocker Long Sleeve Tee — First up, the editors at GQ have partnered with Knickerbocker to send out a lightweight long-sleeved tee to help you make the transition from the end of summer to the fall. Available in three different colors — an earthy yellow, white or navy — the tee would normally retail for $105.

I bought this because this review said there would be free HBO Max, which I had been wanted to subscribe to anyway. Nope, not free. Just a 25% discount for a few months. Wasted my money because I trusted the review.

Lame box. Especially compared to last year’s fall box. Definitely feels like they just found some brands that would give them a t-shirt that didn’t sell and some samples to throw in the box. I would’ve returned it if I could. Hoping they can redeem themselves with the winter box.

I cancelled after this one.. It literally is just a free sample bag they threw together with nothing of value. Do I want a free mail-away t-shirt I won’t use… no. Do I want some random samples of garbage I could get for free at CVS… no. This box is a theft of $50. I literally don’t understand how someone “curated” this box. If this is what they want for the future of this subscription.. I am out.

This box is the Knickerbocker shirt and a bunch of samples. If the shirt isn’t worth it, then the box won’t be for you.
Most lame of all – the “free coffee bag” is exactly the same as what you’d get if you go to Trade’s website without a GQ offer. “1st bag free with subscription.” So the card in the GQ Best Box isn’t anything of value, it’s an ad.
The hair and skin care products are almost all sample sizes.
Looks like GQ Best Box is going downhill fast after a couple good years.

I wish the scalp scrub wasn’t such a small sample. I will be stealing that from my son’s box. Tee looks nice. Pricey for a tee so I’m hoping it’s super soft. My son said it’s not an exciting box but it will all get used. He’s young and not really into skincare other than facewash.
