With half of August here and gone, school is rapidly approaching and I am totally not ready for that. Summer is one of my favorite seasons and while I hate to see it come to a close, I am definitely ready to bring on some cooler temps paired with oversized sweats and a flannel! Did the “My Outfit” section of Fabletics have anything that fit these wants and needs? You bet it did! Read below to see what I chose this month.

My Subscription Addiction paid for this box. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

Kinsley Seamless Bralette – Retail Value $39.95

When it comes to working out, I typically wear leggings paired with a sports bra and a loose tank or t-shirt. I am definitely not one to bare my midriff, so I typically search for outfits that include tops that cover said area. This month I couldn’t help but admire the “Rest 2-Piece Outfit” that included the “Kinsley Seamless Bralette“. This heather grey bralette is made from rayon, nylon, and elastane, and while it is rated as a low impact bra, holds everything in place while doing my beginner shred workout. I found the fabric to be very soft and comfortable, and enjoyed wearing it during my workouts, but also with my everyday casual wear. My only complaint about this bralette is the length of the straps as I felt they were a bit too long, but nothing a pair of scissors and my sewing machine couldn’t handle. All in all, I have really been enjoying this addition to my wardrobe, and am thinking about taking advantage of the sale and ordering it in black as well.

Go-To Sweatpant– Retail Value $69.95

As I have previously mentioned, I am a bit of a sweatpant addict. I love, love, love dressing up when I am going out in public, but as soon as my feet hit the ‘Welcome’ mat at home, I am jumping into my sweats. I typically choose muted tones to coordinate with more of my tops, but this month I just couldn’t pass up the “Go-To Sweatpant” in the color persimmon. Based on the photos on the Fabletics website, I was expecting these oversized comfy pants to have more of a red tint, but upon arrival, I was greeted with a lovely bright pink color that I would liken to the juice of a pomegranate over a persimmon! Saturated and bright, these snuggly pants hit my ankles in just the right spot, all while being adjustable in the waist via drawstring. While I could never justify spending almost $70 on a pair of sweatpants, you can bet I bought more of these babies during the 50% off sale!

Rest 2- Piece Outfit – Retail Value $109.90

Featured under “My Outfits” for the $49.95 VIP Member Credit, I just couldn’t pass up the option of grabbing these two comfy and functional pieces for a fraction of their retail value. Paired with the Nara Half Zip Hoodie I received last August, I’ve got myself a complete ensemble that is great for lounging and comfortable enough to do my exercise video in, as well as chase my kids around the yard. (Side note: the painted roses on my arm were the doings of a local artist that talked me into getting an arm painting – it just so happened to match the persimmon color perfectly!) Now that’s what I call a win!

Verdict

Oh, Fabletics how you have my heart! While I know these items have retail values on the spendy side, the VIP member credit is great for getting items, especially in sets, at a discounted price. And when they put on a sale, like right now, you just can’t pass it up. All of my pieces have been high quality and wash up like brand new. I literally wear my sweatpants daily and all of my pairs are in fantastic shape. I don’t have a lot of experience with their bras yet but can say that I did wash the Kinsley bralette and it, like the sweatpants, looks just like it did when I took it out of the plastic which is exactly what I like to see. I can’t wait to see what styles Fabletics drops next month….maybe I will change it up in September and choose something like leggings or shorts!

While I am taking a time-out from being a Clinical Laboratory Scientist, I am currently staying at home with my 2 sweet boys! My first subscription was Julep thanks to happening upon the MSA website, and it all went downhill from there! I have subscribed to Ipsy, Boxycharm, Degustabox, Julep, Graze, Bluum, Walmart, and more because I love a good surprise! I truly am a subscription addict!

I actually think that top looks better on you than the model on Fabletics. The whole outfit looks so cute together

Becca

Thank you so much CC! You know how they say a comment can be unforgettable? Well that’s exactly what yours is. I really appreciate that. Happy Monday!

Does anyone have experience with Fabletics and Ellie? I’m grandfathered in at the $39.95 a month with Ellie, but I am finding less and less that I like. Opinions on switching or staying would be appreciated.
