While I have no clue whether they actually work or not, I have been wanting one of these little sanitizing boxes for a while now. My kids are young and messy and always asking to see my phone, and while I don't like to think about it, I'm sure it is just covered in germs on a daily basis. I love that this little box can sanitize my phone and other small items and eliminate 99% of bacteria and viruses with just light!

I love the look of this little box. It actually just looks like an ordinary storage box that you might have on your desk and it's very sleek and simple. Upon opening, I was surprised at how spacious it was, fitting my iPhone 11 inside easily, and I love that I could also throw my sunglasses or keys inside at the same time for some extra cleaning as well. While it didn't come with an actual adapter to plug it into the wall, fortunately, I had a few extras, so after attaching the USB cable to it, I simply had to press the little B button on the front which then turned green to show that it was on. Then I placed my items inside and pressed the button again until it was red. After about 10 minutes, the light turned green and I knew it was time to take my things out.
Once closed, the box uses UV-C germicidal lights and O3 technology to sanitize your items killing 99.9% of bacteria and viruses, and even preventing germs from reproducing or multiplying. These are some pretty hefty claims and since I am no scientist, I will probably never be sure that it actually does this, but it definitely gives me some peace of mind knowing that my items are potentially much cleaner than they started out! It says that it can even eliminate odors, which is pretty cool, and the exterior of the box is antimicrobial.

The box also came with a microfiber cleaning cloth and you can see that inside there are both USB-A and C ports so that you can charge your phone while it's cleaning. While cleaning takes such a small amount of time, it's always nice to have an extra charging accessory around and this one is great because the larger size means I can store a few things inside as well!
Verdict: I have been wanting one of these sanitizing boxes for a while now, so I was excited to see that Bespoke Post was offering one this month! I like that it is simple and sleek looking and that it can also double as a phone charger. In the end, I don't think that I saved a ton considering the retail value is only $60 and with shipping, I paid $48.95 ($45 +$3.95 shipping), but since this is something I'd been contemplating purchasing, I think it was worth it. Although, I wouldn't complain if they had thrown in one more extra item like so many of their other boxes do!
