This box was originally due in Feb. Then was updated to March. In May, I emailed for an update and was told the finishing touches were almost done and the release date was June. Mid June I emailed again, and was told that customization was still going to be released in June. Emailed them again this week and now am being told that shipping is expected in August due to the extreme weather this week in Asia. Not once have they been forthcoming, transparent or ahead of the game on their continued failure to deliver.

I raved about this box to so many people and I am starting to get frustrated because we are still waiting for it and it was supposed to arrive by June.

Hello Taren,

Apologies for the wait. The Kyoto box will ship in August. Our shipping dates have adjusted due to the current situation that is happening around the globe. Rest assured the wait is soon to be over. We appreciate your patience!

I think this is really neat. Does anyone know if they’ll send out a recording like they did with the zero waste workshop?

Otherwise, if they treat these as an item and don’t (does it count as an item?), it feels like you lose something if you can’t attend.

And if they charge for the other session but it’s “use it or lose it,” who would commit 4 weeks in advance when most parts of the US are reopening and most of us are finally able to do something on weekends other than watch Zoom?

Hello Betty,

We will try and upload a recording for the Furoshiki workshop.
The Walking tour however, we are still not sure if a recording will be available for that since it’s an add-on.
Both of these workshops are not mandatory and will not deduct from the value of the Box.

This is very disappointing! And to make matters worse, I’ve already paid and I don’t think there’s anything I can do about it!
