April 2021 Dapper Dog Box Review

Murray is ready to dig in!

St Patrick's Day Bandana

Every month Dapper Dog includes a festive double-sided bandana. This style is simple to tie and fits perfectly around my dog's neck. This month is medically themed featuring a cross pattern on one side and a pattern with masks and other medical accessories on the flip side.

Here is the bandana modeled on my BFF, Murray (he is my 9-year-old Corgi-Maltese); the medium size fits him to a T!

Whoops, I forgot to take his collar off when he came inside, but this photo was too precious to keep to myself.

Healthy Dogma Country BBQ Duck treats, 6oz – Retail Value $5.95 (On sale for $5.65)

Made in the U.S. and grain free, Healthy Dogma's duck treats are irresistible for Murray. They are chewy, meaty and everything he loves in a soft, bite sized treat.

Love at first bite!

Woofables Cookies

Murray was so obsessed with these cookies he tried to eat the plastic they came in. Woofables cookies are made from scratch, with simple ingredients like spelt flour, oats, ginger. The scrub top has a blue yogurt frosting that was licked off immediately, but the bone shaped cookie was baked in a beef base with other ingredients like mustard and molasses... It must be a winning combo, because it was gone in an instant.

Petlou Hedgehog Toy

Is it the round over stuffed body, the grey fluffy fur or the buried squeaker that make Murray steal this toy right out of the box? Honestly, I had to wrestle with him to get the tags off of this little hedgehog toy

He has been loving this toy so much! It hasn't left his side in days and when he is not whipping it from side to side he is lovingly licking and nuzzling it before and after nap time.

Hammerhead toy

This toy can withstand some rough play. Murray has recently hurt his back, but after a few rounds of meds, he is coming back with a new found playfulness. Not long ago, Murray would have tossed this toy to the side, but he really enjoyed chasing after this and trying to play tug-of-war, even though he is supposed to be taking it easy right now.

Teef!

Petralyte

Petralyte is a hydrating supplement to boost your dog's electrolytes. Just pour a packet into your pup's water to rehydrate with electrolytes and nutrients not found in plain water. Petralyte comes in three different flavors, and Murray really loved all three. This will be a game changer next time we visit the beach, or maybe when we go for long car rides in the summer.

Verdict: Dapper Dog's April box was a huge success! I was shocked at how obsessed with its contents Murray was. We unbox every month together, and he was especially stoked about this month's treats, cookies and hedgehog toy. This is not a subscription that typically gives you more bang for your buck, but I felt like this month's contents were once again well worth the cost, especially since it made my boy so happy.

I’m a self-proclaimed “cool mom” who loves a little, who am I kidding, a lot of razzle-dazzle. I have been box-obsessed for over 10 years, and I am always on the hunt for new beauty, fun flair and trendy clothing boxes. A fun night for me includes an exfoliating foot mask and a bag of Dot's Pretzels while binging Rupaul’s Drag Race.
