GlossyBox released the final spoiler for its 2021 Mother's Day Box and we have all the details!

GlossyBox is a beauty subscription that sends five deluxe and full-size products to your door every month for $21.00 (with free shipping to the U.S.). You should expect to discover new brands of hair care, makeup, and skincare in each box, wrapped up nicely with a different theme each time.

Getting this Mother's Day Box does not require a subscription - however, be warned, the last GlossyBox limited edition sold out within 24 hours! Subscribers do get priority access so sign up if you're interested!

Current subscribers can snag a Limited Edition Mother's Day Box early, starting at 12pm on April 29th. Non-subscribers can shop it starting 12pm on April 30th, while supplies last.

Thinking of getting one? Here's what to expect from the "Hand Picked Just For You" limited edition Mother's Day Box:

Bumble & Bumble Surf Styling Leave-In & Snow Fox Skincare Herbal Youth Oil (full size - worth $111)

Bumble & Bumble Surf Styling Leave-In: This multi-tasker conditions, detangles, and fights frizz while adding light hold and flexibility to your hair, so you can style and restyle all day.

Snow Fox Skincare Herbal Youth Oil: Fortified with atragalus root extract and Brazilian paracress, known as “Nature’s Botox,” this silky, lightweight face oil helps to slow signs of aging on a cellular level.

AND:

Velvet Eyewear Sunglasses (worth $55)

Sunglasses are much more than a sunny-day accessory! These aviators provide 100% UV protection for your eyes, preventing eye damage and early signs of aging, like crows feet. As brand founder Cindy Hussey said, “block in beauty, block out harmful UV rays."

AND:

Bioderma Sebium Mat Control (deluxe sample - worth $12.50)

Target excess shine and gently mattify your skin for a full 8 hours with this lightweight moisturizer. It reduces the appearance of imperfections by tightening pores and preventing them from getting clogged, smoothing out the skin’s surface and texture.

AND:

FOY CBD Relief Cream (Deluxe sample - worth $8)

Taking care of your body makes a huge difference to your whole beauty routine. This natural hemp lotion with organic essential oils provides soothing relief to muscle pain, joint stiffness, and nerve pain, so you can quickly get back to doing the things you love!

AND:

KAB Cosmetics Red Velvet Matte Liquid Lipstick  (Full size - worth $18)
Authentic Beauty Concept Replenish Mask (Travel size - worth $10)
Mugler Angel (Deluxe sample - worth $4)

AND:

You can handpick your Mother's Day Limited Edition Box by choosing from our special design peach or mint colored boxes!

I’m hesitant now about both continuing with Glossybox and getting this special edition once since items were missing from my April box. Also, I did not get the lovely pale pink nail polish; I got a greyish one.

This box seems amazing for $30/$35. I remember big buzz the last time Snow Fox was in a box. I have never tried anything from the brand. Is it worth it?

I tried the True Luminosity serum that came in the Glossybox Holiday 2019 box and it was good. I’m not a huge fan of face oil though so not sure on this one.

I feel the same way about face oils. I also think some product will come along and change my mind. 🙂

Amy

What is the price point? I’m guessing in the $60 range which is a hard no from me, I might be into it at $30 but not much higher

I think it’s usually around $45, but seems like everything is so high lately so I’m not sure

$30 for subscribers, $35 for the rest.

I’m sure they have listed the price of this Mothers Day box incorrectly on the a Glossy Box web site because it lists the box for current subscribers at $35. and non subscribers for $30. This must be a mistake, current subscibers usually get the $5. discount and that’s probably why MSA did not list the price of the Glossy Box Mothers Day box?

Oh dear, the hero products are supposed to make the rest of this okay! At least the sunglasses weren’t the big ticket item.

I’m probably going to get some flak for this but I think all of the sucky boxes of late have been impacted by the coronavirus pandemic. When I’ve said this before, the responders usually say it should have nothing to do with the pandemic conditions because the world has had time to adjust to it. Perhaps that’s true, but I’m not convinced.

As someone who is a buyer professionally, there is a huge supply chain disruption due to the pandemic…raw material shortages, transportation backlogs, etc. Anyone who says this is not pandemic related does not work nor has any knowledge of supply chain

Barbara — I completely agree. I’m also a buyer professionally and there have been varying degrees of shortages and also price hikes across the board in my industry.

Still a no from me.

The only item in this box that’s interesting is the Snow Fox oil. The rest is very underwhelming. I was expecting better, TBH.

Funny when I read about the oil I thought it said it contained Brazilian pancreas 😆
