Totally agree, but after my second year as a seasonal member; every FFF box looked as if it could have been curated at TJ Max/Rack, (heck people were even posting while the boxes were still available that they were finding some of the contents available at ROSS)…to add to the insult, one of the items people were finding was an umbrella that people had been hoping to get in the box, but it was sold out of and had some ridiculous value, (in true FFF, fashion), and people were buying it from Ross for $7!

Reply ButtonReply

Michelle

Just got mine today….SO disappointed. I do not recall picking ANY of what I got….seems like most of this stuff is overstock that companies just need to offload.

Reply ButtonReply

Christina

Yikes! That’s really bad! Did you pick the cooler bag? I know there were some quality control issues with that so they swapped it out for something else. But that shouldn’t have affected any of the other picks! Hopefully customer service will sort it for you. I’m still waiting on mine to ship 🙁

Reply ButtonReply

Louann

Would love to know the measurements of the Society 6 Beach Blanket. Those sold by Society6 measure 50×60” & cost more. The pic of the FFF option in category 1 looks smaller & rectangular in shape.

Is there a way to get the actual size?

Thanks

Reply ButtonReply

April

I have almost all these items already 😭

Reply ButtonReply

Mellissa

This “full spoilers” post still doesn’t include some of the options of the mast choice MSA.

Reply ButtonReply

Amy G

So weird. Do they not read the comments to notice the oversight or is it just not a priority?

Reply ButtonReply

Estalyn

I know. That’s why I posted all the options from the FFF forum in the comment section. I don’t know why MSA didn’t post them all.

Reply ButtonReply

Jeanette Leblanc

Does anyone know if there are any coupon codes out there for upgrading to annual?

Reply ButtonReply

Jen M

I would also like to find a code for the annual subscription, I can only find the “10$ off your first box” codes and they don’t work for the annual sub. 🙁

Reply ButtonReply

LisaFalana

As a black woman I’m just going to say, while I appreciate the inclusion of a black owned make up brand (Mented), those lip colors are pretty dark for a summer box. It would’ve made more sense to have lighter colors, not only for the season, but for fairer completions to try their products as well. I can’t see any of my white friends coming anywhere near any of these colors. Example: Rhianna’s Fenton line has colors from the darkest of dark to the lightest of light. There isn’t a woman in my life that doesn’t have a product from her line.

Reply ButtonReply

Tamara

Mented Cosmetics channel on youtube has a video: “Swatches of Peachy Keen Liquid Lipstick on Different Complexions”. After watching that video, I think it would be great for lighter skin tones/lighter colored hair. The picture here makes it look very dark. I’m a white brunette gone red, 1/4 Syrian, and even though my skin tone is fair to light sallow with freckles, have always favored the darker colors. It seems to me that I’ve received so many nudes and light rose colored lip products in beauty subscription boxes, once in a while a red. I have plenty of those. I want all three colors here, but definitely the peachy keen.

Reply ButtonReply

Carrie

Oh I LOVE Fenty!! <3

Reply ButtonReply

Jordan Burns

So is 6 items all we’re getting in total?

Reply ButtonReply

Rebecca

There are actually 11 choices, for which someone kindly posted the entire list on another spoiler page on MSA. My understanding is annual members can choose 1 from the 11, and seasonal members can choose from choices 1-3.

Reply ButtonReply

Sherri

You get 6, 7, or 8 items total, depending on which bundle/item you pick for the last category. As I understand it, seasonal members (who will not get to select for the last category) will get a bundle of 3 items, so all seasonal members will get 8 items total.

Reply ButtonReply

Carrie

If you get one of the bundles for choice 6, you’ll get 8 items. If you choose a larger ticket item, you’ll only get 6, but it will be worth more.

Christina

Annual Subscribers, could someone please explain how the Swap for Credit works? Can you just use it for a fourth full box later on?

On the website it says the credit is “valid towards the following membership transactions: Add-Ons, Edit Sales, Themed Sales, Shop Purchases, Additional Customization, Boost, Refills” but it doesn’t actually say that you can just buy a full box later on, which made me worry you have to use the credit for extras. For example, if I take out an annual subscription and get the summer box, skip fall, get winter and spring, could I then get the next years summer box?

I tried to ask customer care and they were really rude and said “You may just want to read first the article” I was like, excuse me? Of course I read the article, the reason I came here to ask is because my question is not answered in the article! 😡

Reply ButtonReply

Estalyn

Hey Christina, you can’t buy a one off seasonal box directly. If you skip, you can use the credit towards add ons in your next box or shopping the sales they have. You can’t use the credit towards renewing your subscription. While you can’t buy a box directly, you can buy one from their sales (they often have extra boxes for sale) but you generally can’t customize them. HTH. I skipped the spring box and plan on using some of the credit I got for that box for add ons in the summer box.

Reply ButtonReply

Deb

Are you still allowed to skip a box? I was under the impression that the swap for a credit option replaced the skip option. Anyone know for sure?

Christina

Thanks both, that’s helpful (and contradicts what the customer care rep said, but I got the impression he hated his job and was just telling everyone to just read the articles!)
I’m glad I checked on here because I’m in the UK so the import tax on add ons/sales is prohibitively expensive (FFF already pre-pay it for the subscription boxes, but not for any extras).

Kc

My understanding is that you can’t use the credit toward renewal but can use it toward sales or extra items in boxes.

Reply ButtonReply

Jennifer

I’m surprised there is no jewelry in the choices.

Reply ButtonReply

Kc

I’m good w that since their jewelry is cheap

Reply ButtonReply

Randi

What I wish they would do is spread out the skincare/haircare into every category. They are ALWAYS overloaded with skincare and haircare products. I don’t need them. I’m stocked for the next year from one box alone.

I’m also so sick of bags and scarves. Like– I get it, they’re cost effective for you, but there are so many creative things you could get.

Love the inclusion of the activity books and the bracelet kit– that’s new and different. They aren’t really my cup of tea, but I’ll probably still get them and share with others because I’m not into the other things in those categories.

I want more practical things beyond skincare and the same old thing. Give me more eco-conscious and household items. And more fitness items! Give me an option for a couple month subscriptions to different yoga or workout apps, mindfulness apps. I bet they could work out to get those free because those apps could potentially secure more subscribers if people keep them active.

More fitness beyond resistance bands please!

Reply ButtonReply

Jessica Jerome

Causebox is good for eco and houseware items! Just note you must be annual member to choose. And they have delayed shipping timelines.

Reply ButtonReply

Also Beth

I totally agree with this! My biggest wish is that it would be possible for me to get a FFF with no skincare/haircare if I wanted to, but they tend to have a category or two (like this season’s Cat. 4) that make that pretty tough to avoid. With the new fully customizable setup in particular, a totally non-beauty choice would have made me SO happy!
(I also totally love the app suggestion. Honestly, I know this would be controversial but I would personally be happy to use a whole category choice for a year’s subscription to a mindfulness, fitness, or language app!)

Reply ButtonReply

Lori

Yes, completely agree. I love the idea of fitness apps and, as a counselor, I love the idea of a mindfullness app sub. I have a great set of beginners workout items with resistance bands, sliders, and a great pilates workout bar thru fab fit fun that I love. I wish we had more lifestyle options because I’m up to my eyeballs in skin care and hair care items.

Reply ButtonReply

Deb

I wish they’d include more in the fitness category in the actual box, not just as add-ons. I saw Katie preview bala bands which would be so great in a box, then I saw them in add-on’s for like $40. Then she talked about kettleballs that you could fill with water. Again I thought “YES!” and then they were in add-ons for about the same $ as what we pay for the box. 🙁

Rebecca

From an organizational standpoint, I wish there was a way to only post the category spoilers, then link to the posts about the other categories. By the time category 6 is released you’re scrolling through 30 options across 6 categories, and it’s hard to tell at first glance where each category ends and the next one begins.

Reply ButtonReply

Randi

Or, you could upload the past each category spoiler in a single side-scroll.

Reply ButtonReply

Snow

I like your idea, Randi 👍

Angie

Agreed!

Reply ButtonReply

Carrie

For those saying this looks like it was curated at TJ maxx, I’m a little confused. First of all– there’s nothing wrong with TJ Maxx, and if you were going to buy 8 items there, it would be more than $50, but also, I can guarantee you, you’re not finding Supergoop or Summer Fridays or Ouai at TJ Maxx. I got the cooler bag last summer and it has been awesome for little beach trips. I’ve gotten the cutting boards before and they are very handy. And I have bought all of those skincare items before at full price. You’re welcome to skip the box if you don’t like it (I’ve skipped 2/4 FFF last year) but this one is one of the highest value they’ve had.

Reply ButtonReply

Sue

Just because you haven’t seen it doesn’t mean others haven’t. I regularly buy Ouai at Tj Maxx at a huge discount.

Reply ButtonReply

Amy

I don’t understand what’s confusing. A lot of the items resemble items you can easily find at TJ Maxx. I love TJM, but in a sub box I’m looking for something that maybe I can’t find for 4.99 in a discount store (I’ve seen both Supergoop and Ouai at TJM). It’s just a preference.

Reply ButtonReply

Carrie

Oh yeah, totally agree about the final choices. If I thought I’d like 3/4 of the boxes as much as I like this one, I’d go annual for sure for that reason, but honestly I don’t need that much credit for edit sales or whatever if I want to skip. But I like the new setup.

Amy Nicole

I have seen Supergoop but not the OG product that l regularly pay full price for. Agree that it’s just hard to please everybody, personally this is the first box l have been excited for in awhile. I was going to cancel my annual but l like the spoilers and the changes they implemented with the last categories. I would much rather choose another good item than have three crappy little ones.

Carrie

I guess my point is, what stands out to one person does not to others. I’m in some skincare groups where people RAVE about CC me and supergoop. I’ve never seen either for $5 at TJ Maxx. I feel like it’s impossible to please everyone. There are definitely seasons where FFF feels like total crap to me, this doesn’t happen to be one of them, but I get that it’s because I’m really into a specific type of skincare product. That said, the quality of the other products seems fully on par with the past couple years of FFF (which is as long as I’ve been following). One of the reasons I stay seasonal, even though that leaves me in the dust in some ways, is that a lot of the boxes really don’t suit me and I just quit my sub that quarter. And I notice that there are usually people who are really excited about that box— so I’m happy for them!

Emilie

If I sign back up for a seasonal membership, after what day do I need to sign up for it not to send me a spring box?

Reply ButtonReply

Michelle F.

I keep hearing from youtubers that the seasonal members will get sent one of the first 5 bundles. Can anyone else confirm this information?

Reply ButtonReply

Estalyn

You will get one of the first 3 bundles only (listed below) . FFF stated this very clearly in their forums.

1. Eyeko Double Act Shadow Stick in Cookies & Cream $25
Art & Cook Citrus Squeezer $15
Aria Beauty Makeup Swabs $15
Total value: $55

2. Seraphine Botanicals Fruit Butter Lip Mask $25
Art & Cook Citrus Squeezer $15
Blush Pineapple Ice Tray $12
Total Value: $55

3. Eyeko Double Act Shadow Stick in Cookies & Cream $25
Barefoot Scientist Pedicure File $15
Aria Beauty Makeup Swabs $15
Total Value: $55

Reply ButtonReply

Jessica

Hi, sorry to sound dumb- I just signed up for my first box and got the seasonal one. Truthfully, I only got the box for the Rae Dunn bowls, but I am having a hard time understanding how many items I will get. From what I can understand from the spoiler list, I will get to pick an item from the first 4 categories, but then the last two show its for Annual only. So I will get 4 items?

Carrie

I’m actually fine with this— as long as I don’t get option 2. So we all know what this means!! Lol.

Lana

Why not publish all the spoilers MSA?

There’s not a bundle where I like all 3 options. I don’t think going annual is as appealing as it originally sounded

Reply ButtonReply

Kellie

I feel the exact same way. Do you think this can be added as an add-on? Only want swabs and lip mask period.
Was so excited to hear we could pick all categories as an annual subscriber. Pretty bummed with selections

Reply ButtonReply

Janet

Why are there so many of the same skin care products? At least get some variety in there beyond day moisturizers and vitamin c serums..

Reply ButtonReply

Also Beth

There’s speculation that in Category 6 they’ve included a large number of “throwback” items to make it possible for them to roll out full customization earlier than originally planned. I’d imagine that future boxes won’t have so many repeats!

Reply ButtonReply

Carrie

I have a question for longtime subbers: how likely do you think it is that the supergoop, cc me and Ouai will be sold out for seasonals, if I log in right at 9 am or whenever it opens?

Reply ButtonReply

Katy

I think the Ouai will. Its a hugely popular brand, pricy and good hair stuff is not as prevalent in beauty boxes so there will more than likely a big demand for it. I’m on my first annual and it will definitely be my choice.

The Supergoop is a popular pricy brand too so I’m sure anyone wanting good spf for the summer will choose it.

Reply ButtonReply

Lana

There’s no telling how much stock FFF has of any item, regardless of demand. Last season a bunch of the items were out of stock for late seasonal subs (like the duffle bag and UV phone sanitizer) only to mysteriously come back in stock a month later. They had a very limited stock of the Mac lipsticks, but supposedly held some back for seasonal. You just never know. Usually if you sign up for seasonal right away, you have choice of everything, it’s a very rare occurrence that you don’t (I remember some wooden coasters that everyone went bonkers for that sold out quickly a couple of years ago and the West Elm bowls when FFF did a throwback, that’s about it)

Reply ButtonReply

Deb

Category 2, lots of comments how great the sunscreen is. I have so many tubes and bottles of sunscreen I was going to pick something else. Is this item worth the $10 add on cost?

Reply ButtonReply

Jennifer

Last season, the add ons for categories 1-3 were $15.

But for sunscreen, my husband pays at minimum $12, and there definitely is a difference between the nicer kinds he gets and the drugstore stuff I used to grab. So I like it when sub boxes include fancy sun screens and might grab this even for an extra $15 unless it ends up being my choice item.

Reply ButtonReply

Lana

It’s not a deal if you don’t need it

Reply ButtonReply

Becky

Words to live by!

Izzie

That sunscreen doesn’t work for me. My suggestion is, if you happen to have some issues with silicones and/or one of the active components of the sunscreen (i.e. I read that it might not be the best choice for some people with rosacea), I’d pick something else. I think often times people are very enthusiastic about something working great for them and create a hype that sets expectations high for me, but I often end up disappointed when I follow these hypes. Regardless, If your skin has none of the problems above, you don’t mind chemical sunscreens, enjoy something that feels like a silicone primer on your skin, and if your other sunscreens are not about to expire soon, maybe it’s worth to try it. If you are really overloaded with sunscreens, not easily subjected to FOMO, and you like something else in that category, then I’d pick that something else.

Reply ButtonReply

Carrie

It depends. If you’re not picky about your sunscreen, I doubt it matters much. But many people have a hard time finding a sunscreen they like and this one usually works for them.

Reply ButtonReply

Estalyn

Can anyone comment on the quality of Nectar glasses vs. Diff? I received a pair off Nectar blue light glasses a long time ago and I think I gave them away because I felt like the lenses were not high quality. I have Diff sunglasses which I think are great (quality frames and lenses that don’t seem to distort images). Are Nectar glasses better quality now?

Reply ButtonReply

Liisa

Agree w other comment. Diff > Nectar every time. Heck, I’ll send you the Nectar glasses I got last year… they sit here, unused.

Reply ButtonReply

Estalyn

Liisa, that would be awesome! What is your email address? I’ll send you my address. Thank you!

Ashleigh

I purchased a pair of Nectar blue light glasses in a fabfitfun edit sale about a year ago and they are just ok. I don’t think they’re in the same category as diff. I also don’t think they do quite as good a job at blue light blocking or reducing eye strain.

Debating between Murad Rapid Collagen Infusion and OLEHENRIKSEN PHAT Glow Facial™ Mask…
Feedback appreciated!

Reply ButtonReply

Melissa

Like somebody else pointed out, the Murad isn’a moisturizer exactly. However, I am obsessed with it! I don’t think it really has long-term benefits but it’s incredible how much of a difference it makes within half an hour on fine lines and wrinkles. I was truly amazed the first time I used it. Since I am in my 30s, I also tested it on my mom in her 60s and she was a fan too! We both have prominent forehead headlines and it reduced them for the day by like 50%.

Reply ButtonReply

Also Beth

My understanding is that collagen molecules are too large to penetrate the skin, so collagen as a specific ingredient isn’t going to have benefits in a topically applied product. But in general that product is well-reviewed, so I’d look at whether the other ingredients in both products tend to work with you! 🙂

Reply ButtonReply

Lana

Topical collagen doesn’t add collagen to your skin structure, but the benefits of using it are increased hydration and improved skin texture, which can help your skin look more youthful.

Chillybeans

I’m 57 and also will be happily getting the Murad collagen, it’s an HG product for me and one of the few that IMHO really works for older skin. I like the throwbacks, I will take all the unhide throws and Murad collagen I can get!

Reply ButtonReply

Ashleigh

KateM, I did the same thing! My kids steal my UnHide blankets and you never know what kind of slime or goo will get on them. One is hidden in the top shelf of the closet, unopened. 🙂

KateM

Hey there! I love the Unhide blankets too! I still have one still in hiding for when I want to break out a new one, lol. I was thinking you meant there was an Unhide in this summer box and I was like how did I miss that?’

Beth in Oklahoma

I like you, Chillybeans! I’ll take the same!

Tiffany

The Murad is my go to moisturizer. I’ll happily be getting it for the 3rd time.

Reply ButtonReply

Tiffany

Interesting. I use it after a serum, and don’t need an additional moisturizer.

Rae

Thank you for clarifying that, Estalyn.

Estalyn

Just to clarify for people who aren’t familiar with Murad Collagen: it is not a moisturizer. It’s a treatment for fine lines and wrinkles. They describe it as: “An antiaging treatment that targets the appearance of wrinkles and loss of resilience by rapidly visibly revolumizing skin and infusing skin’s surface with collagen amino acids.” In its instructions for use, they say to apply moisturizer after applying the collagen treatment. I apply moisturizer after I use this product.

Estalyn

I have both. I’d go with the OLEHENRIKSEN PHAT Glow Facial. My skin always looks so much better after using it.

I have the mask and it literally does nothing for my skin even though it has great reviews. I would go with the moisturizer.

Sorry for blowing up the comments! My posts weren’t showing up so I tried again…and again…and again.

Anyway, does anyone know how much it will cost to add on products from each customization category? I know Category 6 will be $10 for each add on.

So there’s no way a seasonal subscriber could get the last four products listed like the Ole Henrichsen?

Mary

I know this might be a dumb question but I was wondering if there’s any chance the LashesMD Conditioner would be in a seasonal box or just 100% exclusive for annual members?

Reply ButtonReply

Cynthia

Not a dumb question at all! All seasonal members will be receiving one of the 3-item bundles so the Lashes MD product is only for annual members who chose that product.

Estalyn

It’s only for annual subscribers.

Is anyone else a UK subscriber? I’m getting a bit frustrated by how many of the better options aren’t available to ship to the UK. It’s also the reason why I gave the spring box a miss, because the planter would have sold the box to me but I couldn’t choose that customisation!

I just read that the Supergoop SPF isn’t available in the UK, nor is the liquid lipstick. And the Obe bands come with a pressure point ball (that costs like £3 online) rather than the subscription… making that a seriously overvalued pair of bands!

I wish they at least provided an additional alternative because some of the unavailable items e.g. Supergoop are kind of the stars of that customisation in my opinion!

If you look at some of the FFF pictures for the bands, the coupon code for the subscription is on the photos. Just write it down and use it. You might need a VPN to gain access, but if I can supposedly use it from Bahrain, then they aren’t restricting based on location. They are woefully inept when it comes to understanding anything international. Example – I live in Bahrain and have an FPO (military) address. I was able to get the planter and it is a 110-240 volt item. I have plugged in and it’s working here. They also sent the seeds, which they said they wouldn’t do. Our only real restrictions are – drugs (nothing with CBD), pork, porn, and pearls. Obvioulsy USPS aerosols and hazardous items. However, FFF inconsistently says we can’t have things because they can’t ship to us. They are very random in their rules. There was no reason the planter couldn’t ship and there is no reason the codes won’t work in the UK if they work from the Middle East (except maybe that I have a US credit card number and technically a US address to register the billing to).
