I don’t live near the ocean , but a huge beautiful lake with tons “beaches”, and I’m super excited for this box.

Tamara

I didn’t realize before that Supergoop SPF 40 is chemical, not mineral. I only use mineral SPF. So I guess I’ll get the Build a Bracelet for my 5 year old granddaughter. She will love it. I am underwhelmed by the choices especially compared to last season’s box.

Reply ButtonReply

Jodi

I skipped last season because it was so boring but I’m going to go broke because I want so many things this season. lol!

Reply ButtonReply

Debby

This category really stinks. 3 of the items are fairly recent repeats and in my opinion we’re not worth repeating.
It seems that every makeup & skincare sub box on the market routinely sends Dr Brandt products. I have several that are unopened that I really need to trade (not my favorite brand due to the saturation of products I’ve gotten from this company).
The cutting boards and flight mode mask were in the Winter box – so its obviously a product dump.

We are left with the Mented lip gloss in 3 colors (2 are orange), the Mine Tan after sun care (another brand constantly seen in sub boxes) and a chintzy ring light (my kids have these and they don’t work, they are just gimmicky), so I wouldn’t recommend.

At any rate I like the first 4 spoilers, but this catagory is a true dud. I don’t want any of it. It would be great if we could receive credit for individual categories and use towards add ons etc.

Reply ButtonReply

Wendy

Didn’t we just see the dr. brandt scrub and the hydration mask in the fall box? so many repeats!

Reply ButtonReply

Robin Lisa Van Meter

There is not one thing I want from this box. All choices are boring/redundant and/or ugly.

Reply ButtonReply

Christina

I think the Dr Brandt scrub, the hydration mask and the chopping mats were all in winter 2020. I got the Dr Brandt item in the winter box, I haven’t used it yet (I have way too many skincare products to get through…not the worst problem in the world but I do get a little annoyed when I don’t like the home/lifestyle items options in FFF and end up getting even MORE skin/haircare!). In fairness I have heard good things about the Dr Brandt scrub so I do look forward to trying it. I agree they shouldn’t repeat items so quickly, only 2 boxes apart… it’s maybe nice to have a few repeats for new subscribers to have a chance of getting popular items or to stock up on spares (I’ll never complain about too many Unhides!) but think repeats should maybe be a year apart.

Molly Honey

I love the lemon rolling tray!!

Reply ButtonReply

Lori

🙌😂

Reply ButtonReply

Katie

Are you still rolling – that is so old school. I’m old school and zi don’t even do that anymore 🤣

Reply ButtonReply

Allison

I’m loving these choices. I’m picking the pool tote, watermelon setting spray, zip pouch, lemon tray, and guac and salsa set.

Reply ButtonReply

Michelle

Sadly, this doesn’t have me excited. Most of the items, I can get at TJ Maxx or HomeGoods. At least two of the items, I’ve already received in prior boxes. I’m keeping my fingers crossed for Fall and Winter.

Reply ButtonReply

Kate

Outdoor blanket, cooler, wine tumbler, lemon tray, bundle with pineapple ice cube tray, juicer and lip mask. I like that it mostly all follows a theme and hopefully will be able to go on some nice picnics with this box.

Reply ButtonReply

Aliza

Aside from the nightgown I’m going to end up with all skincare items. I like more of a variety, but those were the best options in almost all categories. I hope they’ll make me pretty. 😉

Reply ButtonReply

Rebecca

Loving this box! On the FFF site, they have posted spoilers for #6, which is the final choice. There are 11 possible choices, bundles of 3, 2 or 1 higher priced item. Should be something to make everyone happy!

Reply ButtonReply

Ashleigh

I’m happy about the ole henriksen phat facial!

Reply ButtonReply

Katy

I have the Phat stuff already. I like it pretty well.

Katy

I wasn’t really feeling the bundles until I saw bundle #5 🤗

Reply ButtonReply

Barbara

What happened to the fit part of the box? When I started getting these they had a lot more to offer it seems

Reply ButtonReply

Katie

My fit is laying on the blanket with the cooler next to me and sipping wine from the cup with pineapple ice cubes to keep my spritzer cool. Then using the after sun gel because I fell asleep after the wine.

Reply ButtonReply

Jori

I laughed so hard at this comment. This is life! 😀

Christina

I absolutely agree, we are lucky if we get even one fitness item option in the entire box. I think I’m going to get the resistance bands, despite them being in my opinion massively over-valued (especially since I’m in the UK so I just get the bands not the subscription) mostly just to make a point that fitness items are still wanted! 😄I think the balance of fitness items vs. hair/skincare is way off, which is frustrating because if I wanted cosmetics I could get them in a million other boxes, but there’s hardly any boxes in the UK with lifestyle and fitness products!

Reply ButtonReply

Christina

@Peg yeah I guess the fitness part is hard, but I’m a relatively new subscriber so would love a cute yoga mat! But I think they could branch out a bit with active lifestyles items, e.g. abs roller, or running backpack/hydration system, or a good quality dry bag for watersports or the beach, or smaller items like hand/ankle weights or grip trainers for later customisations. I know it wouldn’t be for everyone but just one active/fitness product per box would make me happy! 😀

Katy

I’m a little frustrated with so many makeup/skincare/ hair care products . I canceled all of my beauty subs for the year because I’m overstocked with all of that stuff right now so I want everything but!! I’m sad the only jewelry option is a DIY kit that feels juvenile to me personally. I wish the bowls were cuter and there wasn’t any dang tassels on the towel. The totes are most definitely not my style and I already have 4 Bluetooth speakers. Oh, and I wish the travel cup wasn’t for wine. I will probably pick it to use for coffee anyway but I wish it didn’t say corkcicle on it. All of those things are usually some of my favorite things to get in boxes like these. There are things I do like though and I will be thoroughly content with my box. I just want more lifestyle choices in each category and less beauty related ones.

Peg

I think fitness is a hard category for a sub box – any suggestions on what they could fit into this box other than things like fitness bands, balls, yoga mats etc. They most certainly aren’t going to send yoga pants or expensive fitness apparel. I just wonder how creative they can really be ?

Alice

Just left a Dollar General. They have much cuter patterns in larger melamine trays at $2.00.

Reply ButtonReply

SheriH

Going to choose the tray and the aftersun! Loving this box.

Reply ButtonReply

Christina

I have mixed feelings about this box so far. I think overall it is amazing value and I really can’t complain, but I’m leaning towards picking skin/haircare items (of which I have way too much already!) as they seem to be some of the strongest options, I just wish I loved the lifestyle/home items more as for me they normally are the biggest selling point of fabfitfun.
I love the idea of all the summery picnic items like the blanket, cooler bag and wine cooler, I just personally am not a huge fan of the actual patterns, the picnic blanket especially looks like my mum’s one from the 80’s! 😀 (maybe hers would be back in trend now?!) I like how they offer a choice of colours for the tote bag but would love it if they did the same for other items too.
I have been thinking of buying a bluetooth speaker for a while so was considering that, but can’t find any reviews on that speaker online, or even anything about the Sonix brand. Has anyone any experience with them?
Also, has anyone any experience with obe products? I’m in the UK so would just get the bands (and a little trigger point ball) but no subscription…so that would make them some seriously expensive bands! I wouldn’t mind if they’re good quality and don’t distort but would be annoyed if they are just like the £5 ones on ebay.

Reply ButtonReply

Jennifer's

That’s my problem, too – the patterns for the cooler and blanket are really niche in style, seem dated, and are in a color people rarely choose for focal decoration or themed events (orange and yellow.) They should have gone with either a more trending design (soft watercolors, checker pattern, etc.), or a versatile classic one (navy, b/w) – and preferably avoided anything with lots of white since it’s going to get dirty. Something in blues or greens, perhaps – like an ocean or palm theme.

I like the item type, but would avoid picking the blanket or wine chiller because I hate the chosen designs (and don’t want “society6” slapped on the cooler, either – they could have at least put the designer’s name and not the stores.) I may grab the cooler anyway, we’ll see.

Reply ButtonReply

Christina

I love all your colour/theme ideas, especially an ocean or palm tree theme 😍you should work for FFF! Totally agree with the branding… makes it look like a promotional freebie or something and I don’t want to be a walking advert for a store! I’m all for practical colours and styles as well, sadly I’m not sure FFF considers this much. I loved the idea of coasters in the spring box but I’ve had that type of seagrass coaster before and I found they get stained so quickly and are a nightmare to clean!

Quinn

I also want the wine cooler but don’t want the name on there. I might get it anyway and cover it with a scarf or some contact paper.

katie

Liking this box more than the Spring one. There is at least one thing in each category that I really like. Also happy they have repeats so I can get things I’ve missed in the past.

Reply ButtonReply

Jodi

I agree. I skipped the Spring box. This time, I’m buying extras in multiple categories for the first time since I started FFF 3 years ago

Reply ButtonReply

Tamara

I have an annual subscription, plus some seasonal subscriptions. I know for the annual I will get: 1. PMD (even though I have two already). 2. Obe bands with two months free fitness classes, I’ve wanted to add to my online training with some more weight training classes. 3. Supergoop, I live in FL! 4. African Botanicals. 5. Mented peach, though the blood orange is gorgeous too. There are more great products in there that I like, but I also got Dr. Ava’s box recently, so I might cancel my FFF seasonal boxes to save money.

Reply ButtonReply

Deb

FYI…. I loved the lemon tray until I found out how small it is….12″ X 7.5″ X 2.5″

Reply ButtonReply

Kate

I’m thinking it’d be a good size to put in the cooler bag for use in a picnic – you know when the ground is uneven and you are worried about drinks spilling on the picnic blanket, you could use it just for your drinks.

Reply ButtonReply

Deb

I’m wondering if the 2.5″ depth is actually correct. It sure doesn’t look that deep. I got those dimensions from someone on IG. I was hoping it was more of a platter size.

Reply ButtonReply

Ashleigh

Oh that’s the depth, never mind! Still about the size of a piece of paper though.

Reply ButtonReply

Ashleigh

Ohhhh… 2.5” is narrow

Reply ButtonReply

Jill

I’m surprised to completely disagree with most of the comments so far. This is the first box that I have been excited about in a while. I am looking forward to the pmd beautyclean and the cute Rae Dunn set, as well as, the vitamin C serum. I guess they just can’t please everyone every season. I will say that I am not a big fan of the throw back idea.

Reply ButtonReply

Carrie

I just want to point out to everyone saying this is the worst box yet and so on… this is the first box I’ve been excited about in a long while, and I’m rarely interested in FFF’s skincare choices. This time, I think they’re great! And there’s lots of other cool stuff. You are obviously entitled to your opinion, but know that it’s not objectively bad— it’s all subjective. They can’t please everyone. We’re a very tough crowd.

Reply ButtonReply

Jodi

I agree. The Spring options bored me to tears but I’m excited about getting extras this time around.

Reply ButtonReply

Izzie

I counted 9 variations in this category, woah! With my luck, as a seasonal, I’d be stuck with the most unwearable lip stick. Still debating wether to resubscribe or not.

Reply ButtonReply

Kara

Agreed. A person with melanin-rich skin could pull off the lipstick choices, but I definitely don’t view them as “neutral” or “universal.” Fabfitfun tends to offer orangey/not universally flattering makeup choices in their picks. The lemon tray is cute, however…

Reply ButtonReply

Tamara

I just watched a youtube video channel with all three color choices, and that Mented Peachy Keen looks like it’d be great for any skin tone.

Susan

I absolutely love the lemon tray! This might be my favorite of all the spoilers thus far!

Reply ButtonReply

Chana

It’s so cute!

Reply ButtonReply

Nicole

I’m resubbing for this box. The Supergoop makes it worth it for me and the cool summery items like the tray are great extras!

Reply ButtonReply

Cynthia

Kroger makes a dupe for that sunscreen that is super affordable. It’s called the Kroger Sunscreen Invisible Gel and its about $10 for 3 oz.

Reply ButtonReply

Nicole

Thank you, Cynthia! I hadn’t heard about a dupe for the sunscreen! I’m all about finding dupes! I’ll definitely check for this at Ralph’s next time I grocery shop 🙂

Tiffany

Thanks!

Nancy Jo Cannon

FFF has been doing nothing for their customers but take away our hard earned money. When becoming an annual member, I thought/hoped boxes would improve but to my dismay, they haven’t. Customers ages, needs, and the first thing you show us is very dark and unflattering lipstick/gloss for the start of spring! REALLY ~ does this make since when we’re just off a dark winter wearing covers over our mouths so lipstick will get and smear all over the inside! Way to go buyers and sr mgmt with FFF. THATS PUTTING YOUR CUSTOMERS FIRST!
Well I’m over spending outrageous prices where I can pay same amount for Lux Beauty Boxes and will receive so much more. Please cancel my subscription effective immediately. Thank you. Nancy Jo Cannon 4/23 Great Bday gift FFF

Reply ButtonReply

Rebecca

You know FFF doesn’t actually read these comments, right? If you truly want to cancel your subscription you will need to contact them directly. Also, please tell me more about these luxe beauty boxes that have Malin and Goetz and cost less than $45 for 7-8 items, I am missing out! My boxyluxe and ipsy GBX have a comparable number of items, but since I don’t get as many choices I end up with a lot more items I can’t use.

Reply ButtonReply

Sue

Why are you being snotty? So unnecessary.

Syd

I am overjoyed to see lip colors that don’t only good on fair skin as an option. I’ve cancelled makeup subscription boxes because of an over exhaustion of light pink and “nude” shades that look white on darker skin. I’m excited that we get to choose which items we would prefer in our boxes as well.

Reply ButtonReply

Monique

I’m super pale and I can wear the light or “nude” colors because they wash me out. But I have full lips so when I wear a dark color, I’m all lips, but I’m still happy to actually see color in the lip product choices. I wish they’d find a a nice middle of the road berry color, which actually does look good on most people and stop with the matte colors. I can’t stand dry lips. But there’s a reason why they offer choices because we’re not all the same and they wouldn’t be able to please people everyone if there were no choices. For $50, this box is a bargain.

FabSB

If you look up Mented Peachy Keen, it is quite light in color. This image isn’t representative of that color.

Reply ButtonReply

Charlotte

The lemon tray is really cute, and Mented is a fantastic Black-owned beauty brand, but the rest of the category 5 choices are a big yikes for me. Aloe gel I could get at the drug store, with a supposed retail value of $32? And so many repeats. I got those cutting boards in a previous box, and they’re just AWFUL – hard plastics that dulls your knives.

Overall, there are some cute things in this box, especially if you like to do outdoors entertaining, but the curation is the weirdest I’ve seen from FFF yet.

Reply ButtonReply

Rebecca

I love the cutting boards! Easy to clean, and nice to have dedicated colors for meat, fish, veggies and chicken. I haven’t noticed my knives dulling at all. Also, since they are flexible, it is easy to get from the board into the pot without spilling. Can hand wash or put in dishwasher. Got a set for my daughter, and she loves them as well.

Reply ButtonReply

Charlotte

I’m glad they worked for you. I tried to use them, and they were just terrible to me – performed poorly and felt incredibly cheap and flimsy. I actually threw them away, and I NEVER do that (I always try to sell, gift, or donate what I don’t want). I would much rather spend a little extra money on a sturdier board.

Alice

I believe I’m going to select all skin care. Although I have plenty of that, I certainly don’t need or want a knick knack tray, more cutting boards, lipstck, or a selfie light.

Reply ButtonReply

Monique

Same here. I can’t remember the last time I had to buy a skin care product, between allure and FFF they have me covered and allow me to try high end products on a budget.

Reply ButtonReply

Rebecca

I prefer dark lighting for my zoom calls, lol. Better to hide that I haven’t washed my hair and I’m wearing a t-shirt from college — which was in the early 90s.

Reply ButtonReply
