  1. I’m in my 30s and love the nighty! Guess that makes me an old lady 😂 I love Draper James prints and even though this isn’t my favorite of hers, it’s perfect to throw on when my babies get up in the middle of the night

    • It’s a great way to ensure your partner has a headache so you don’t make more babies lol hideous!

  2. I’m not excited about these options, but it could be worse. I will definitely use the cooler bag and am leaning towards maybe the outdoor blanket??? Or may get the PMD for swapping (I tried it from Causebox and didn’t like it)??

  3. I couldn’t agree more. Winter was so-so, Spring was okay and now spring looks disappointing. Of course I just renewed so I’m in until next spring but at this rate, I won’t renew for the fourth time.

  4. I received a subscription for FFF as a Christmas gift and have been super disappointed, The winter box was nothing like I expected and when I was given the options for the Spring box I thought ok this is better but now the choices for the summer box are even worse than the winter one…I think this will be the end of my subscription, the idea is great but the product, not so much. Time to start shopping around for a new subscription of a different kind

    • Me too…

  5. Im under whelmed with the summer choice 1 and Choice 2 but then I remember the price I pay for the Annual membership and realize its a good deal. I wish the would take the Hits from last summer like the Business & Pleasure Cooler and the L space Towel and offer a different item from these brands. Im growing Basil this week from Spring box and we will see how that goes.

  6. Why is the Salsa bowl bigger than the Guac bowl? Everyone knows that’s not right.

    • Lol TRUTH!! Good catch!

    • Ha ha ha! Truth!

  7. Fifty some odd years ago my great aunt Effie used to wear her “housecoat” all day. That nightie looks startlingly identical to that housecoat.

  8. I really like a lot of the options but wish they were in more neutral colors. I would pick the outdoor blanket or wine chiller If they were a plain color or even more neutral pattern. I do love oaui products so will be choosing that. I do have the cooler bag from a previous season and enjoy it

    • Its really not a secret. Its posted within the community. May 6th annual subscribers can begin shopping add-ons. On May 7th annual members can begin their box customizations. Hope this helps.

  9. Im a annual subscriber and I haven’t even gotten my winter box yet so this is my last run with Fabfitfun. I been with them for years and their getting worse with this shipping.

  10. I always want to subscribe to this box, but when I see the spoilers I have a hard time picking items that I would actually want. I guess I like the blanket for the beach and maybe the scalp scrubber. Last time I only liked the planter and hair clips lol. I guess I’ll see what else gets spoiled.

  11. I never thought I’d skip a box but I may just skip this box I’m not attracted to anything here

  12. Everyone’s tastes are so different. I think this is shaping up to be an excellent box. Over the past couple of years I went from one subscription (FFF) to several (FFF, Causebox, Allure, Ipsy and occasionally Curateur) so I wonder if some of the disappointment and disenchantment people are feeling is due to subscription box fatigue. When I first joined FFF I could always find something among the choices I was excited about but when I look back at some of my previous boxes, if they were presented to me today, I would be disappointed. I am just happy they are doing something about the FFF picks which has been my biggest complaint about FFF over the past year.

  13. they really need to do like a focus group or survey of subscribers. seems like a lot of us are on the same page regarding the “style” of these offerings and it’s not for us. I like the offerings, but the nightie looks walmart, not a fan of rae dun and see that stuff everywhere at tjm, the blanket and wine chiller would be items i’d love to have, but those retro prints are horrid. easy skip this time around.

  14. when does the customization for annual subs open? why is this always kept a big secret?

    • Its really not a secret. Its posted within the community. May 6th annual subscribers can begin shopping add-ons. On May 7th annual members can begin their box customizations. Hope this helps.

  15. I don’t know what to think about this box so far. I did sign up for an annual to the PMD device and I had good choices plus the picks they made actually aren’t that bad. So I’m excited to pick my stuff. But none of this stuff is very appealing to me. The PMD would be great if I didn’t already have one coming. I don’t want skincare unless it’s really a brand I want. I canceled all my beauty subs and decided to go more Lifestyle this year. Category 1 is totally lame game for me personally. I will probably end up picking the towel. At least I know I will use it. Category 2 isn’t much better. The jewelry case looks cute. I don’t have jewelry though! Lol. It could be useful for something. Or the bowls. I like bowls. I wish they were they prettier decor kind. I hope our choices improve. I’d like to have some more then “meh” stuff to pick from.

    • If you did the deal for the PMD Pro that’s a microdermabrasion device. The PMD Clean in the Summer Box is a cleansing device. You can definitely use both! I have the PMD Clean and I like it a lot. Very gentle.

  16. Even though the bowls match my Goose Creek Candles I will probably get Tarte moisturizor I only like to use scented skin care and gel formula is my favorite. I have been wanting to try it for awhile.

  17. Wow! Was enthused to hear that annuals could customize their entire box and now see this. Just– what has happened to the taste levels? There used to be a lot of chic, sophisticated and posh items with FFF that were so cute you could barely wait to get your selection clicked, let alone in your lap!

The Spring box was a dud and the Summer box looks. . . . holy hostess ho-hos, please say it isn’t so! PLEASE make this box worthwhile. A wee bit of elegant and practical style can go a long way!

    • What were the chic items you mentioned?

      • Nothing chic has ever been in this box. Obviously she doesn’t really know what chic is.

    • I agree. That higher level of curation and uniqueness got lost somewhere into cactus cups and juvenile patterns and barrettes. A lot of TJ Max and ‘made in china’ items now with a minimal selection of unique items thrown in to soften the blow. It’s odd.

  18. The guac/salsa bowls and another cooler!

  19. I loved the spring box and was sooo looking forward to the summer box but I have to say this is disappointing. Usually the first 2 cust. are the best and I always want at least 3 from both but im having a hard time finding 1 I like. I will say tho I am so happy that us annuals can pick our whole box. Usually I always get the items I want the least for some reason so to be able to choose for myself means I won’t have more stuff ill never use. So far not happy with the choices but very happy I get to choose.

    • Interesting! I hated the spring box but am super-psyched for this one!

  20. Not cool they’re repeating multiple items the h20 blue lotion stuff and the yellow cooler. Looks like they’re going for the lowest effort possible for the seasonal box.

    • Well, the cooler is the only thing I want, so works for me!

      • I love that cooler!! I’ve been wanting a second one. I am not happy though that it’s an option for I just purchased one in the last sale 🤦🏼‍♀️ But it has cute lemons on it so I guess it’s ok 😂

      • I didn’t like the yellow bag cooler last year when it was a choice item, but I saw it in reviews and liked it. I’m liking cooler, the orange outside blanket, the green beach bag, the jewelry case, or the beach towel.

For me this box looks much better than my spring box!

    • The repeats are what FFF refers to as “throwbacks,” and it’s something they started offering about a year ago. They are additional choices beyond the new box items. It gives people an opportunity to get another of something they loved, or get something they hadn’t before but wish they had. So there are extra options for those that might be interested, and for those that are not, nothing is taken away from them.

  21. Feeling really good about my decision to cancel.

  22. The shampoo doesn’t appear to be color safe so Guac & Salsa bowls for a girlfriend’s summer bday gift it is! Very summery box, even though I’m not a picnic type girl I’m liking the choices

  23. The nightie were cotton. Polyester doesn’t breathe. Bummer.

    • Agreed. I would have loved it if it was cotton.

  24. That’s it. I’m probably in for an annual re-sub.

  25. Picnic blanket and nightie for me since I’ll get use out of both. I have the cooler and the towel already and I love the cooler! Tempted by the shampoo but don’t want smthg stripping so I’ll consider it.

  26. Hmm, wine chiller and Oaui shampoo, I guess. But I’m not super excited by any of this. Hoping categories 3 & 4 are better.

  27. Has anyone received the cooler bag before? Does it do a hood job at keeping things cool?

    • I put mine out with ice packs for when my Farmers’s market orders are delivered and everything stays cold. The longest I’ve left it sitting is about 1 1/2 hours

      • Thank you Anna!!

    • Yes! We love using our cooler and take it to the park all the time! I’m super excited about these choices. They are definitely stepping up their game this season!

    • I use mine to carry casseroles to parties. It’s perfect for an 8×11 casserole dish.

    • The bag is well constructed but I can’t detect any real “insulation” materials. It’s fine for a few hours with ice packs but I wouldn’t expect it to last a full day. It is tall enough to hold a 6 pack of aluminum cans and wide enough to hold two of the larger bento style containers with smaller containers stacked on top. I really like mine. It’s great when traveling because it packs flat until you need it.

      • Thank you for the info about what you can fit in it, etc. Very helpful Kristen! That’s my choice now for #2!

    • Thanks Penny for asking this because that’s what my question was going to be, lol. Thanks for the responses ladies!!

    • I love the business Cooler. It holds a lot of Sizes. Wine Bottles Side ways, 6 pack, Ect. I use it as my lunch bag at times too!!

  28. What’s with the old lady print on the nightgown? This box is looking to be as big a letdown as the spring box, so far.

    • I understand what you mean but perhaps we should use the word “mature” instead of “old lady” – there are a lot of mature vibrant women who would not want to be referred to as an old lady. Let’s lift each other up not place labels.

      • I think Em is just being funny with the term “old lady.” I thought it was funny. 🙂

      • Give me a break. So old is now too hurtful for the delicate flowers? How about dried up hag?

    • Hahahaha…totally agree! I wouldn’t mind having a new nightgown, but woof, no way with that print. Who picked that? It looks like something you regret buying (and never wear) even though you bought it for only a few dollars in the markdown, markdown section of T.j Maxx. 🤣🤣

    • I don’t care if anyone calls me an old lady, because that’s what I am. That said, that’s one ugly polyester nightie.

      • I totally agree!!

      • Totally agree! I don’t mind it either. 😁

    • They’re in Los Angeles, where I am, so many new, cool trends that go nationwide and worldwide begin here, there are so many super inventive creators here awaiting a big break. But no, FFF is handing out Rae Dunn, Hot-Dog-On-A-Stick color blocked totes, and eh, mature woman nighties. They really need buyers that have an eye for good design.

      • Draper James is a super trendy clothing company founded by Reese Witherspoon. That nightgown may not be your style (or mine) but I think collaborating with them is a good “get” for FFF. Also, frankly, most FFF subscribers are not on the cutting edge of fashion, nor would they want to be.

    • I’m in my 50s and think it’s cute!

    • Category 1 is a miss for me. Category 2 has redeemed the box for me. I will choose whatever I think will swap best from category 1, unless I can think of someone that would like one of the items as a gift. I will choose the nighty and the jewelry box in this category. I’m just not sure what size to pick for the nighty. I’m on the cusp of plus size, but the robe I got in winter that was plus size is huge on me. I don’t want to sleep in a ton of extra material but I don’t want it to be tight either…

    • The word that came to mind when I saw the nightie is “dowdy” but it’s probably more polite to simply say it’s just not to my taste! To each her own.

  29. I’m simultaneously obsessed with this box and really underwhelmed 😅I think someone elsewhere put it really well—there’s not really a “hero” or “wow” item yet to me, but they did do a really great job of compiling a bunch of practical stuff that I actually kinda need!
Like, I’ve legitimately been looking for a dedicated picnic blanket, a bluetooth speaker, fabric workout bands, and a nightgown. Would any of these be my choice if I were buying ’em for myself? Nah. But will I get a ton of use out of whatever I choose? FOR SURE.
(Btw, does anyone else notice that everything kind of matches the colors in the box so far? I feel like they’re kind of going for a theme like they did for Spring. Hoping that doesn’t mean more orange everything, but…it’s kinda cute.)

    • If you want a Bluetooth speaker, this is probably not the one to get. I got a silver one at Walmart for $14 3 years ago and it has a longer running time and the same wrist strap. You may want to check Amazon or something before using a selection on this one.

  30. Somehow I always like the option 2 choices much better! Wish I could get the nightie and the shampoo instead of anything from choice 1.

    • I read that the summer box is completely customizable in that way At least for annual subscribers. I know that they made a bunch of changes in the way that you can customize everything.

      • I don’t think that is right. I believe it’s just that annual members can pick their item for each of the 8 categories, and not just the first 5 like before. At least that’s how I understood it.

  31. meh.. So far this box isn’t wowing me at all.. I am sure others love the choices though!

  32. Cat 2, not bad!

  33. As the nightie isn’t cotton, I’ll probably do Tarte moisturizer from that group and the serum from the first group.

    • The Tarte moisturizer is bad if you have ANY sensitivity to scents. It’s very highly scented

      • Glad you mentioned the sent. A lot of things I get I end of giving to others. Can’t take any
sent on my face, make me sick the next day.

      • I got it in a previous box. The texture is very light and moisturizing for oily skin. If it hadn’t burned my skin as if I was walking through the fires of Hell so bad, (from I guess the fragrance) it would have been a winner.

    • But if you don’t….^^^ I LOVE that tarte moisturizer! Makes my skin look so dewy, but not oily bc of the gel texture! (I have combination skin)

  34. What is the fabric content for the Draper James Ruffle Nightie?

    • I’d also like the material. (Fingers crossed that it is cotton.)

    • It looks like polyester/spandex. My body won’t tolerate polyester. Bummer. I was really hoping for cotton.

    • It’s on the DJ website – mainly poly. I have some like this and they are super comfy. I love this choice!!!

    • according to the Draper James site, it’s 93% Polyester 7% Spandex

  35. Very underwhelming…

    • Totally agree!

  36. I’m so excited about the nightie! I wish I could get more than one.

  37. Guac & salsa for me!!

    • Yes! Love Rae Dunn!

  38. The nightie really works for me – it’s something I could use (rather than just leave at the back of my closet unopened for my heirs to discover after I’ve died of old age). BTW I hope that H20 isn’t from the same batch as the one I got from them about 3 years ago.

    • Lol

    • Getting ready to move and have just opened the same “closet” to pack it up, lol. Wow, I’d forgotten about half the things in there, most still unopened. Knowing me, I will pack it all up and move it to a new closet for my son to discover upon my death, at which time he will promptly trash it all! 😁

      • Ahaha, I’m in the process of cleaning out that same closet. It’s made me more determined than ever to pare down my sub list.
