They just sent an email about a woman’s day bundle! I’ll probably pass since some of the products are similar to what I have in backlog and I avoid lavender products, but it’s a cool assortment for $35. Each item was picked by a different staff member. It’s live to buy on their website:

“7 Self-Care Fashionsta Team Faves valued at $158

Our team picked their favorite items from past boxes, to get your skin glowing and body relaxed. $123 off retail value!

Bundle Includes:

1. Fig + Yarrow – Orange Blossom Lavender Complexion Water $34

2. NCLA – Watermelon Lip Scrub $16

3. Fresh Bombs – CBD Pain Relieving Bath Bomb $12

4. Earth Harbor – Glow Juice Refining Enzyme Mask $40

5. LUCI – METALIT $15

6. Moonslice – Moonshine Super Fruit Facial Oil $25

7. Herbal Dynamics – Cucumber & Blue Lotus Micellar Water $16

This looks fun!!!! But come on fashionista….the second ingredient in this is polyethylene which is basically a form of PLASTIC!!! You seriously cant find GOOD indie brand eyeshadow with decent quality and not made in China or crap to send us?? This looked so very pretty, but then I went to their page and looked at the ingredients.

I’m sure the rest of the box will be odd skincare junk that the same stuff over and over….if you’re going to send aliexpress or crap, why not get NYX, or decent indie brands that are good QUALITY….its been a year and a half since this box has shown up. They have brands and the SAME products that ipsy and boxycharm sent 6 YEARS ago!! I hope they step it up and do better.

I’m sure this wont get posted. My subscription addiction likes to keep PAYING people’s opinions and experiences with this brand off their web site of it’s not a cake happy pie pie review sadly.

Jamey why do you always come across as bitter and angry about this box? Many boxes have repeat items, this box actually has products I have never tried.

If you don’t like this box simply don’t purchase it. There are many choices out there.

You do have a right to your opinion, but to state it over and over, kind of makes me wonder about the true motive behind your posts.

I just got my Feb box today and love it. The eye mask is a brand I’ve never tried before and it actually works – I wore it 20min and my eyes look lifted and de-puffed, as if I actually had good sleep. And I got the shade of liquid lip I wanted, Requiem, which is very pretty. I’ve been pleased with both my boxes, so far.

Ooooh, so many pretty greens! And some yellows and oranges! I might pop these out to put select colors in my magnetic palettes, since I’m not sure there is enough light to dark range to use it as a face palette. But I love a lot of those colors individually.

So far March is looking good! The “mythology” theme sounds quite fun, as well!

Truth

polyethylene is the 2nd ingredient on this list for these eyeshadows… plastic…..

Reply ButtonReply

Jennifer

And that is bad, why? Polyethylene is commonly used in cosmetics, toothpaste, skincare, etc. as it is non-toxic and non-hazardous to the environment so long as one isn’t littering with it. It’s food-grade safe.

I’m all for brands dumping toxic and untested ingredients, but it isn’t the end of the world if they use tested polymers that work well.

Feb’s box was SO GOOD and this is another great start for March. I love this box! It’s such a good deal.

Please do your research for Dito cosmetics. Thet are rebranded AliExpress pallets. The eyeshadow I received from them as well as the eyeliner I’ve tried both broke me out in horrible rashes. It won’t seem to let me post the Reddit link but there is definitely information on this.

I’m not finding any info on reddit, youtube, or the net about then being rebranded palettes from Ali Express. They do have a Galaxy pallete that the packaging (not shadow colors) seems the same format as a BH palette, but it kind of makes sense a company wouldn’t reinvent the wheel every time for packaging. Where did you find info on them?

It does look like they are actually made in China, and are vegan/cruelty formulas. I watched a bit of a youtube video on the Athena and those swatches/pigments are amazing.

Check the ingredient list on their own website. The 2nd ingredient for this pallette is polyethylene , which is basically a plastic derivative and it causes a LOT if allergies and allergic reactions in a lot of people. Especially if they dont know it’s in it

Jennifer

Is it that they are rebranding a low quality mass produced sub, or a matter of Ali Express having knock offs? I know you can find knock offs of Juvia’s Palace and The Balm on Ali Express, among other brands.

It’s pretty sketchy if they are just slapping new packaging on a mass produced eyeshadow, though. I remember a sub that actually had high quality jewelry, but I had to let them know that the “custom design” they’d commissioned was just a necklace from Ali Express. I don’t think they knew at all. And since the jewelry itself was well made I didn’t have any complaints beyond that – I just wanted to inform them their stated rv was twice as high as it should be as their “original” pieces were actually from eBay wholesalers and Ali Express. They insisted they should be custom pieces until I emailed them photos.

Really? That sucks. I like the two palettes I bought from Ipsy offers from Dito but anything AliExpress makes me weary since I really don’t know whats in them or what they are made of. Im glad I got them for pretty cheap considering I won’t be using them anymore. I haven’t had any adverse reactions yet but I don’t want to test my luck

I bought a couple of Dito Cosmetics Eyeshadow Palettes from Ipsy Offers and they are really nice. Really good pigmentation, easy to blend and little fallout . This one is gorgeous, I had been thinking of ordering it from the Dito website

I really like that color story. All of the greens in that palette are beautiful!
