So I ordered two, both arrived today. Definitely worth the money, I’m one of those who will use these all over my body as opposed to just face, and I don’t like the feel of a lot of body sunscreens- the facial ones tend to blend in better without the residue feeling. Plus facial ones usually have better quality ingredients, I’m in my 40’s and want to avoid “old lady chest” & shoulder splotches that I already see in much younger women, so far so good. I do wish the kits came with at least one spf specifically for the eyes, as that’s where I’m most sensitive. If one doesn’t work for your face, definitely use it on other parts of your body.
My bag arrived today. I’m very happy everything. I like being able to try a variety to find the right one for me. I found out I do not like the Thomas Roth product. I am looking forward to trying the self tanning drops. The product has been in sub boxes but never one I’ve received. I don’t actually like the bag itself. It’s pretty, yes, and the tassel is cute, but it has zero structure to it and just flops. I’m sure I’ll find a use for it, however.
Man, I still have samples left over from last year! And I definitely wear sunscreen every friggin day. Neutrogena makes a “face mist” that is super easy to use that I’ve been liking. Though you aren’t suppose to actually spray it on directly on your face go figure.
What a nice set! I’ve decided to stop being disappointed by sunscreens and just buy Supergoop, but I would have liked this when I was still looking lol.
Looking them up, I think only the Shiseido and Supergoop are water-resistant (correct me if I am wrong). I have so many non-water-resistant sunscreens, I was looking for more I could wear while in the water. I’ll probably pass for that reason.
That Shiseido one is my holy grail. I took it to Tahiti and used it on my face and body. (The sun is extremely strong there) The heat and wet shield (I think that’s what they call it) are great. Bonds to your skin when it’s wet or hot. Perfect and reef safe!
I normally jump at these, but I feel like I’ve gotten a lot of sunscreen “deals” recently from nobody going outside last year during COVID. I need to work on what I already have! Need to dig into the Coola mystery box from September!
I am STOKED! The DDG sunscreen is full size and retails for $42 when the entire set is $39! The supergoop retails for $17 and the Clinique is full sized and retails for $23! Stoked stoked stoked
