I have a seasonal FFF subscription. I wonder if I upgrade to an annual sub if I’ll be eligible ffg or the PMD promo or not? Does anyone know?

My annual renewal is due next month. Will I get any bonus for renewing?

I just got my box today and I only subbed 2 weeks ago. I am blown away by the picks. I chose the duffel bag, curling iron, and KAte Spade earrings. And the added the Elemis peel, Wander eye masks, Drybar Prep Rally, ANH brow gel, and a pretty nail polish. I’m shook!

I just received my second box and it was a lot better than the first one. I hate the new packaging, it’s like they just throw it all in the box. I use to love getting my boxes when they were neatly wrapped and a lot more thought was on the presentation of the boxes. Think I’m done with FFF

Just because you haven’t experienced it doesn’t mean it doesn’t happen. I know exactly what trolling is thanks.

I’m ok with cheapening their packaging as long as the items are protected. It’s not protecting fragile items, wrapping liquids in plastic, etc that I have a problem with. I’m tired of the wet, crushed boxes, damaged items, and leaking packages. Sending so many replacements is not good for the environment either.

Don’t say this on the FFF community boards or you will be annihilated by trolls. I happen to completely agree with you and watched as someone made the same exact comment in the community – trolls went nuts cutting this person at the knees about being selfish and not caring about the environment. I think the community can be really annoying.

@Sue: Really? I’ve never seen it. I have seen folks calling out those who insult the reviewers. (Disagreeing with isn’t the same thing as insulting.)

I feel like a lot of folks on here confuse someone actually liking a box they don’t as “trolling”….

Sue

There are plenty of trolls here as well who will freak out if you dare disagree with the reviewer.

I just received my second box and it was even better than the first. My FFF picks were Nail Polish, Wander Beauty Eye Masks and Drybar Prep Rally. I was so glad I didn’t receive the cactus cup again. The choices were better too.

I just got my box and overall I’m happy with it, but I’m kinda annoyed that for their choices (I’m seasonal), they sent me items that weren’t even shown as options, like the Wander Beauty eye masks & Aveda hair remedy. I already have both of those (from sub boxes from last year). Is this normal for them to do?

Debby

Yes it is normal. When they run out of the initial seasonal offerings they will make substitutions.

I think at this point I have a love hat relationship with FabFitFun. Some of my items break like the teal glass water bottle, flower tea pot, or french press coffee press. Other items wear out fast like the pink slippers, gray slippers, or plaid scarves. Some items stand the test of time like my fuzzy robe, throw blankets, necklaces. It’s hard to know what’s going to work for you in the long run.

And it varies by person. Like, my coffee press is still kicking and getting use, but I’ve never had a necklace from FFF that lasted. You never really know. 🤷‍♀️

I just got my box today and that bucket hat did not fit my head. I’m going to give this away to one of my nieces. If you have a small head then the bucket hat might fit you. In addition the pink fuzzy slippers lost their padding very fast. Everything else I got was of good quality.

I looked at reviews on Sephora and Ulta for this device and all the best reviews are from people who got them for free from PMD. The verified purchasers were mixed, but made up most of the unflattering reviews. Just fyi.

Does anyone have this and can share your opinion? I thought microdermabrasion is one of those thins that are not recommended to do at home, like microneedling.

These are great starter machines for novices. They are not a replacement for a trip to the esthetician for a microderm. I would say the machines do 1/100th the work of a $60 treatment at the salon. The tips are pricey and they do need to be replaced depending on how often you abrade your skin. If you can afford it, I would say just go to the salon; you only need to go like monthly or bimonthly. There are better options for these at-home machines like Trophy skin although I haven’t yet bought one.

Thank you both for your feedback!

I actually do own the regular one (not the pro) and picked this up to give to my mom. I use it a few times a year. I really love the way my skin and products adsorb afterwards. I don’t think I could use it weekly because it exfoliates so well.

PMD must have a giant warehouse FULL of these things! They are everywhere, in every sub box around

I just reached out and changed my promo from the mystery mini bundle they were offering a few days ago to the PMD Pro. Excited to try it. When I consider the value of subscription boxes, I only count real RTV for skincare/cosmetics that are not house brands. When I do the math on just the cosmetic/skincare items in my Spring box, I’m getting a $236 value for my $179 annual subscription (+$10 for one add-on). The PMD brings the value of my Spring shipment to $436. That’s not including the Foxybae curling iron, Gaiam set, or choices 6-8 in my box, or any of the items in the upcoming Summer, Fall, or Winter boxes.

So long as it’s not box after box of cactus cups for the rest of the year, I can’t say I’ll have any cause for complaint if every item in my Spring box actually ships!
