BoxyCharm February 2021 Box Full Product List!

I loved my Boxy this month – again – for the 3rd month in a row. Haven’t had a bad box yet. I received the lipliners, Hanskin’s AMAZING moisturizing essence/toner, the Ace Beaute palette, Lavido face lotion, and the Wander balm/gloss (the one dud of the lot, but I’m fine with it).

Honestly I get a lot of sub boxes and Boxy has knocked it out of the park with the base boxes and add-ons/pop-ups. I’m kind of blown away. Maybe because before getting Boxy it seemed like people were always unhappy with them, but all the amazing stuff I’m getting? I mean, for $25? Yes please!!

BOTH Saint Luxe Beauty Limited Edition Liners have broken off tips and useless. I do bet this is filler crap. Did anyone else experience this broken item? TWO lip liners both broken off tips.

My base box was an epic fail this month – the only product I’m excited about is the Saturday Skin Mask. I also received the Wander Beauty pallette abd it was meh – the rest of the box was not good at all, and the values were completely inflated:

– TreStique Good Vibes mascara RV $44.00 Value – third time I’ve received it and it’s terrible. I loathe this brand.
– Saint Luxe lip liner duo – 1 of the pencils is brown 😕 RV $40.00 (seriously!?)….
– Glamierre set of 4 eyeshadow brushes (dollar store caliber) came in a plastic pouch that smelled like cheap pool toys. RV $29.00

No FOMO here.

Ugh, my base box was bad. I guess overall the products are okay but it felt like a box of just leftover stuff from previous month. Especially when I was looking forward to the Saturday Skin or Tula item that was a spoiler and I got neither. I got none of the spoiler items other than my choice item.

I would understand a box like this if I joined boxy at the end of January or beginning of this month where it would have to be put together last minute or something but when I have a continuous subscription for over a year…I don’t think so.

For choice I picked the wander beauty palette the rest of my items were the following:

-Lavido Hydrating Cream
-Tarte Face mist (item from a previous month)
-Farmacy Toner (item from last month’s base box)
-DOSE of color block party single eye color in the black/silver color (item from a previous month)

I think I am going to buy the Glow Recipe item currently in pop up that I have chosen for March and cancel. I have so much skin care right now that I am probably good for a while.

Out of the 5 things that I didn’t want…I GOT 4 OF THEM. But at least I got my choice, the brow product. The medium was way too light …so this box was a 0 out of 5. I expect not to like 1-2 things but this was disappointing…ugh…those brushes are so terrible. I wish they would stop with the products like this…with the ridiculous prices from companies that don’t align with what subscribers expect. If you order off a website from China and slap some name on a product, we do not want your product. That is taking advantage of millions of people that subscribe.

Ooh, I’d love that big bottle of Hanskin essence. That stuff makes you glowy!

I chose the Ace Beaute Palette. Since choice came out my boxes have been great! When you get the one thing you wanted it makes it all worth the splurge. I know I’m in the minority by saying I’m glad I don’t get as many neutral pallet everytime anymore! I like to mix it up! It keeps me exploring new looks and improving my eyeshadow game.

I got my box today (fastest ever) and it’s my favorite Boxy Box I’ve received. The only thing I won’t use is the primer, but I can give that away. The other things I received were the Saturday Skin night mask (love the brand and I mask regularly), the gorgeous glitter-lamp brushes, the Trestique liner/mascara (love this brand too), the brow kit (I tested it after my workout and before my shower. I waited to shower because I didn’t want to wash off my amazing brows). I just can’t believe I got such a box of fabulous for 25 bucks! Usually I only have 1 or 2 things I like and I’m disappointed. This box made up for those other months!!

This is more of a general question than a question about the box, but is there any practical difference between cuticle oil and other oils? I suspect that it’s just fine for me to use body oil on my cuticles, but can I also use cuticle oil on my body?

I’m pretty excited. I like almost all of the products so hopefully I can manage not to get the 3 or 4 I’d rather not have.

I’m happy I canceled the base box, I don’t like anything about this month, and the spoilers came out very late, I’ll stick with the premium box that’s more interesting.

I did not like it the first time for my first box ever, there is no way I would sign up for another queen palette. I see the queen palette on eBay and everywhere, everyone is trying to get rid of it. now you get it from Walmart too (online) if anyone still wants it.

Normally I’d be annoyed by repeats but I would be down for a second Farmacy toner (though hopefully they’re keeping track and I won’t get one)

and I would love to get the VV olive palette since I missed it in January

Mine is 1.2 lbs and 9x7x3 with brow bar choice (kinda regretting that, I don’t do my brows and was hoping to be inspired but I feel it’s unlikely now lmao)

Maybe I will have a chance to get the Olive palette this time around. I really think it is dumb they have the same products from the month before. I guess that could be good if I missed something.

Can I be pre-annoyed? I have a sinking feeling I’ll get the Farmacy toner, which I just got in my January box. Yes, it’s my favorite product I received in that box, but I’m nowhere close to needing a refill.
I’m sure they have algorithms and I won’t get it again, but my brain keeps wandering to I will.

Disclosure: for the first time in my 43 years of life I learned how to use eyeliner, so fingers crossed for some of that!
