Baabuk Mel Slippers in Dark Grey - Retail value $65.00

So Will and I selected these slippers for his grandfather, but I have to say I am SO tempted to keep them! We ordered a 41 which is roughly a 7-7.5 in men's and a 10-10.5 in women's. Pap has small feet while I have large feet and these actually fit my size 9.5-10 feet really, really well with just enough room for thicker socks. They are absolutely marvelous and I am so sad they are sold out because I would be buying more for sure.

Made in Nepal of 100% New Zealand wool and with a rubberized sole, they are warm and cozy but sturdy enough to run outside if needed to grab your mail or take the dogs out. The sole is also non-marking, which is genius. The soft wool insert can be removed and cleaned and If I end up buying my own pair I plan on buying a sherpa liner to make them feel even more luxe. These are the ideal minimal wool slipper and I really hope Bespoke brings these back for more people to enjoy.

I feel like such an adorable and cozy little garden gnome!

The Spice House Salted Caramel Hot Cocoa, 1/2 cup - Retail value $7.29

Along with the cozy slippers arrived a bag of salted caramel hot chocolate! Yum! I will be keeping this little sweet for myself as Will and I often enjoy hot cocoa before bed on the weekends in the winter. I recommend almond milk, of course! This blend was rich and chocolatey but with just a hint of burnt sugar and salt. The combination of sweet with just a touch of salt is delicious.

Verdict: I have major slipper envy thanks to this month's Bespoke Post. It looks like the size I need is still sold out even on the Baabuk website, but I will keep checking back. The total value of the slippers and hot chocolate total $72.29 making this a nice little money-saving purchase for a Christmas gift. I only wish I had ordered two boxes!!

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No, sadly, this one is sold out.

I love natural/vegan beauty products, Korean skincare, unique jewelry, and weird candies from far away places. When I am not waiting for my next exciting box you can find me painting or taking photographs of interesting people. I never leave home without pug hair somewhere on my shirt and a bold lipstick on my smile.

bespoke just has these available in one color/size: bordeaux, size 47.

But you can order the slippers direct from manufacturer (Baabuk) – though there they are $65 and don’t come w cocoa.

But… the company is fabulous —- their shoes are phenomenal!!! (though I haven’t tried their slippers).

If you go to Baabuk’s site, check out the story behind their blacknose shoes (especially if you like cute sheep)! I also love their “ Wool Storage – Whalebuk.” It’s under “accessories” and provides uber-cute toy storage (though unfortunately sold out).

I ordered these as a Christmas present to myself in the same size but blue. Everything was set to ship, and then I got an email two days ago saying the warehouse was out of them. The email also said they were refunding me, and “Sorry again for the inconvenience on this one, but you should be good to go now.” I’m not sure how I’m supposed to be good to go when I’m not getting what I ordered. Especially if this had been a gift for someone else.

I ordered these November 1st, was charged, watched my tracking with the USPS and they never arrived! I reached out to Bespoke and they refunded, said “sorry, our error” and that it was out of stock. 😡 So ended my love of Bespoke Post.

I ordered a “wick” box and it arrived yesterday. I had four candles, but they doubled the “Beacon” and left out the “Rhinebeck” – I normally wouldn’t get bent out of shape about this, but I got the box to gift to a friend…who lives in Rhinebeck! The company appears to be trying to make amends, and I guess I will just let my friend know she has an IOU. 🤪

I normally love Bespoke Post but I’m having a similar problem. My order is either lost in transit or never shipped, it was never received by USPS & has stopped any activity over a week ago. Bespoke Post says they have no information on my package, they don’t know if it’s still in stock (it is in stock on their website) & yesterday said they couldn’t guarantee getting one to me by Christmas anyway (my checkout shows multiple shipping options guaranteed getting to me by Christmas if I bought it myself again today). They haven’t reshipped it or responded again. Today they sent me a marketing email telling me to buy last minute Christmas gifts that will be delivered in time for Christmas!
I also had a problem with their black box promo. I placed an order & they sent me an email telling me I could use the promotion a second time. I was pretty happy to hear that so I went to their site & spent time shopping around, decided on a few more gifts & tried to place an order but it wouldn’t let me get the black box gwp. I tried many times for a few days even clicking directly through the email while the promo was still on their website, but it never worked. It was disappointing & a big waste of time. Now I don’t trust their marketing emails or promotions and I’m without a gift I was counting on for Christmas.

What a bummer! Those slippers look really nice. I like the wool and the minimalist look of them. The hot chocolate is a nice touch. I think I have slipper envy as well!

Would you be able to take a pic trying to roll the slippers up? I’d like to see how flexible the sole is.
