I love pallettes. That’s the ONLY reason I’ve kept this box. More makeup, less skincare. BUT they keep sending items ipsy and boxycharm has already sent YEARS ago. Got a liquid lip, this pallette and a few other items I got years ago…why do they do this?? At this point in their sub, they should be in a groove with better stuff.
I am here for the pallettes as I collect them, and like to try GOOD (not made in China PCR junk) even if they sent 3 items 1 good eyeshadow pallette with 2 other things would make me happy…but not the same

I received the Moods Palette from Ipsy last month 🙁

Jamey

Boooo. I’ve already got this in ipsy 2 times and gave it away both times..this box should have really stepped it up and stop using ipsy and boxy’s leftovers and items they sent years ago…this isnt the second or third time this has happened. I’m just throwing money away for stuff I’ve already had and didn’t want

I love that palette. The pink/gold with the bright pink in the outer corner is one of my go-to looks, and the highlighters are pretty great too!

Reply ButtonReply

Dianne

Have the palette. I don’t know if it was Ipsy Plus or Boxycharm. It’s ok. I don’t use it. I forgot about it. I have better palettes.

Kimberly

I don’t know why I bother commenting, MSA always filters mine out..really crappy~!

Reply ButtonReply

Jamey

Agreed. And with this sub they REALLY hide and never post thoughts/opinions

Reply ButtonReply

Kimberly

Here is my thing..ANOTHER HIGHLIGHTER?! And a Palette that was already sent by another Sub box! I want different/New brands/Unique items, that was the whole reason for subscribing to The Box! Also, NUMBEROUS people complained they were on Palette overload and especially Highlighters!! Apparently no one is listening.. because here we go..2 months in a row!

MimiR

I already own 4 of these 😔 What a disappointment….

Reply ButtonReply

I also already have the palette but I can give it away to the women’s shelter….I hope the rest of the box has items I can use….Not every item in the box can be a winner, I still am excited to see what the rest of the items are.

Shari

I love this subscription box. More often than not they deliver a knockout box for me. Last month was not a winner for me. Every month isn’t going to be a winner for you. I love this pallet they are offering in their boxes. I have not tried this pallet.
What is it about some of you talking about the model that they have used lol. That’s kind of petty and lame and really has nothing to do with the products that they offer in their box.

Reply ButtonReply

Jamey

Nope. Just people whom spend money on boxes and expect a decent value instead if junk. I live in a town that doesnt have a makeup store, so I use boxes to try brands/formula out. If they work for me, I go to a site and order another pallette with different colors or whatever….I dont want to try nor will I invest in junk cheap brands. Especially when so many other boxes are out here that send better quality stuff. At first fashionsta was new and now, it’s still not the best and on the fence..I’ve got broken items, moldy items (I gave away as a gift last November and didnt know) and only got one item (a sigma brush) that I have now invested in a LOT of money in Sigma brushes…I dont want junk brands or the ali Express or ali babba stuff because I won’t use it or buy it…so then you end up giving it away more then you keep..so what’s the point?? Its not competition. And if you dont join in the Facebook group and be a cheerleader then they attack you. Just like msa restricts posts here for no reason.

Yup. MSA has several commentators that are consistently nasty and negative. It was enough to make me limit the time I spend on the site to a few mins a week. It really is just not necessary and grosses me out.

Reply ButtonReply

Bonnie

Right? The only thought I had when I saw the model was “isn’t she beautful?” And then, what are they giving us that she’s using?

Reply ButtonReply

Amanda

Seriously!! For real what are we 12? I’ve been out of middle school for over 3 decades but these petty comments made me feel like I was traveling back in time. Personally I think she’s gorgeous and probably just as pretty without the makeup. Wouldn’t complain one bit if I looked like that but that’s just me!

Reply ButtonReply

Tara W

She is probably 10,000 times better looking than me, yes. LOL But when I first saw the model I noticed the brown lip liner and my own preference is that I don’t find that look attractive at all. She would probably look better without some of the makeup.

Errmmm

Agreed, Shari. The cattiness and mean-spirited comments on this site can be quite depressing. That’s why I barely scan them anymore.

Reply ButtonReply

Shari

Sometimes the comments are so mean, it makes you wonder if they are not a competitor.

Anita

I received this exact palette in Boxycharm….oh, well.

Reply ButtonReply

Nyquesha

I just redeemed points on Ipsy for this. It was only 600 points but now I’ll have two. Good thing Christmas is around the corner. 😁

Reply ButtonReply

Reyna

It was featured in Ipsy not Boxycharm.

Reply ButtonReply

LunaLee

I redeemed that palette last month for this month’s Ipsy for 600 points. I didn’t even really want it but for 600 points why not? Also, didn’t they sent a highlighter last month? I haven’t even opened my box and I have had it for a while.

I am grandfathered in to the $19.99 price and I also keep this sub because it’s different from Boxy and Ipsy, but if they are going to have the same items I will have to cancel which is sad because I usually love it.

That around the world box was the best! These past 2 months have not been good at all.

Reply ButtonReply

Tara W

I also redeemed on Ipsy for that palette. I would have liked this spoiler more if I wasn’t already receiving it this month. I’ve been subscribed to Fashionsta since December 2019. Last month’s box was a letdown for me. All their other boxes I had enjoyed receiving so far.

If a box wants me to subscribe, they need to do better by the model they are painting. The brown lip liner! The sparkly crap between the nose and cheekbones. The pouty pouty should have died decades ago.
Not a look to aspire to.
Get real.

Shari

You don’t have to do your make up exactly the same way. It is just shown bold so you can see the colors. Saying you won’t buy a box just because of the model and the way she is wearing the product is kind of ridiculous.

Reply ButtonReply

Lawden

Exactly! Also, I got a single one of these shadows in a regular Ipsy and it was phenomenal! Super creamy and very easy to work with and long lasting! The color I got was this beautiful rose gold shade so I think you will love this!

Dea

The “monkey lips” look of the early nineties. Yuck. Agree that this model is a mess.

ipsy already did this unwearable palette. Fashionista billed itself as edgy and not-like-the-rest. I unsubbed months ago because they were so meh.

Came here today to see if I was missing something and needed to reconsider. Thankfully no.

Reply ButtonReply

Leah

Excuse me, but what do you mean exactly by “monkey lips”? Women will pay a small fortune to attain full lips & those of us who are naturally blessed with a full pout love showing it off. This comment should have been filtered out.

Angela

Ewww I already have that hideous palette from Ipsy last year omg no thanks! Canceling immediately! Last months box wasn’t so hot anyway. I wish Trendmood would have a regular monthly box!

Reply ButtonReply

Kristin

I wish I could cancel I got billed yesterday before they announced spoilers.

Reply ButtonReply

Shari

Different strokes for different folks, every box isn’t going to be a winner every month for everyone. I personally am looking forward to this pallet. I have a huge eyeshadow collection but I don’t have this particular pallet. I remember when ipsy had it I didn’t get it and I was really disappointed, I really wanted to try the purple and the teal.

Kristin

Please sub boxes, stop sending highlighters at this point I can’t even give them away as all my friends already have multiples.

Reply ButtonReply

Stephanie

Agreed! I can open a store with all the highlighters in my closet. This trend needs to die! People look ridiculous with this look. Seriously ridiculous, especially when I see it on the corner of their eyes.

Reply ButtonReply

The other Lee

Amen! Enough with the highlighters!

Reply ButtonReply

Shari

I kind of agree I have a Lotta highlighters. Yet, it’s a good thing that make up last longer than skin care, I mean my skin care less what about a year at most, and I can make make up stay pretty decent for up to five years so that gives me a long time to try to use it.
