My November 2020 Sock Panda Review
When you join Sock Panda, you can choose between one or two pairs of socks a month. You also can choose between “wild & crazy,” “patterns & prints,” or one of each. I chose to receive "wild & crazy" because I find the flare they add to my daily outfits fun and exciting!
Now, these are some wild and crazy socks! These bold colored socks feature a Medusa-type cartoon that looks like she is struggling to comb her wild snake hair. Featuring a bright yellow background, our teal colored gal is donning a maroon dress. It looks as if a couple of her snakes have found themselves in knots! Per usual, these socks feature the "Sock Panda" logo across the toe, but interestingly enough do not feature the "Give Back" logo on the bottom of the foot. I enjoyed the humor these socks delivered and found them to fit very comfortably on my size 10 feet, with the perfect amount of stretch on my calves. I can't wait to wear them to school next week!
Autumn Leaves Socks
Hooray for an autumn leaf print! I fell in love when I opened this pair of socks, as the darker tones and leaf pattern gave me all the autumn feels. While they could be considered tame compared to the first pair of socks we received, I couldn't wait to put these on and wear them to a conference I have coming up... that being said these socks fit TIGHT. Because of the detailed pattern and assortment of colors, the inside of these socks did have a lot more threads than the previous pair, causing them to run wayyy smaller and hardly fit on my athletic calves. Bummer!
Verdict: Sock Panda featured some really wild socks this month. The Medusa-style socks were pretty out there but made me laugh, and will definitely get some laughs out of my students when I wear them to school. I was disappointed with the leaf pattern socks, as the detailing caused them to be sooo extra tight. I love the pattern, but definitely need them to be a bit looser to feel comfortable. I hope they take that into consideration in the future. I'm hoping our themed socks will be back for December and am hoping for some snowflakes...
