đź–¤ Our December book takes place in 1920's Shanghai. The heirs of two rival gangs must come together when rumors of a monster threatening the city's citizens begin to surface. Is it truly a monster wreaking this havoc, or some sort of madness sweeping the streets? And will these two characters be able to set aside their differences (and a past filled with romance and betrayal) to save their people? We absolutely adored the romantic tension in this book, as well as the incredible atmosphere of the setting and time period!

Most of the items have a wintery vibe, but there is nothing specifically tied to a certain holiday.
