Jewelry Subscription Box Review October 2020

Halo Ring (Size 9)

Initially, when I opened this box, I thought the center stone of this halo ring was black, however, after holding it up to the light, I discovered it is really navy blue! When I slide it on my finger, I found myself humming "My Heart will Go On" as this piece definitely has a "Heart of the Ocean" vibe! I also appreciate that this ring came in a size 9, as my size 7 collection is quite extensive. The smooth band is silver in color, but has no markings to indicate what type of metal it is made of. The large navy blue stone in the middle is surrounded by round colorless gems. The ring itself is lightweight and fits comfortably on my finger. At first, I was leaning towards pairing it with a little black dress, because its size and beauty do seem to resemble that of something a princess might wear, but I toned it down and went for comfort this time and paired it with a sweater. I felt the glitz and glamour of the ring really pulled the navy blue accents out of my new T.J. Maxx steal, and was happy with how they paired. I can't wait to debut this beauty at school on Monday!

Gemstone Bracelet

I love bracelets, and this navy blue piece is right up my alley! The scroll-type structure is different from anything I have ever seen before, and the clasp closes easily and tightly for a secure fit. While it is also not marked with the type of metal it is crafted with, the quality of this piece seems really good. I am especially excited about how well it matches this month's ring and paired it with the sweater as well.

Gemstone Earrings

Aren't these earrings beautiful?! I am very appreciative of the unique design of these earrings, while still looking like they go as a set with the ring. The silver triangular shape at the top swoops down into a teardrop shape that is encrusted with a large blue stone and small colorless stones. The closing mechanism utilizes a round hoop closure, which I found to be a bit painful in my earlobe at first, but once in, pretty comfortable. While I again was pulled in the direction of formal attire to pair these with, I am all about comfort these days and went with the sweater – I thought the earrings added the perfect amount of bling to my daily outfit.

Verdict: Jewelry Subscription is a really fun subscription that I enjoy receiving each month. Because of the pandemic, I haven't been wearing as much formal wear as I usually might, so receiving pieces that are versatile enough to incorporate into my day-to-day outfits is awesome. I really liked all three of my items this month, and am very happy that my stylist coordinated all of them so well. If you are into accessorizing and surprises, this subscription is definitely one to check out. I can't wait to see what they send next month!

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Every box is different and packed based on your style profile!

Value Breakdown: This box costs $36.99 a month + free shipping, which means that each of the 3 items in the box has an average cost of $12.33.
