OK guys, if anyone on this box’s comments section knows me, I’m usually a HUGE champion of The Box by Fashionsta. I love it. It could do no wrong in my eyes; the boxes are amazing. Well, this month…..let’s just say this month is a complete and utter DUD. If the Skin & Co Truffle Therapy cleansing cream wasn’t in it, I’d be angry. Since that cream sells for $30-$35 and I LOVE it, I’m going to let October slide, and just hope for a better November.
The contents of October’s box in addition to the Skin & Co Truffle Therapy Cleansing Cream: 1) a blow dry spray (I don’t own a blow dryer and air dry my hair daily), 2) a highlight palette (I’m middle-aged and don’t wear highlighter and this one is so odd, even if I DID use highlighter I don’t know how I’d feel about this palette), 3) a blemish/zit potion (I don’t get zits, I’m middle aged), and a GERARD COSMETICS plumping lipgloss that is both drying on the lips and incredibly sticky and menthol-ish, making it incredibly unpleasant to wear (I’ve never used a lipgloss that made my lips feel SO gross and dry, and it takes a lot for me to complain about lipgloss as I usually LOVE every brand of lipgloss I try…….)

Again, I’ll chalk this one up to an “off” month, which every box has once in a while, right? But truly, I’m usually gushing about how estatic I am about The Box by Fashionsta, and 100% pleased with them since I began my subscription. October though? Nope. Just……..disappointing. I’m happy I can use one of the products and I’m done with my rant. But to everyone else out there, I’m curious as to your thoughts on this month. Maybe I’m just a haggard entitled pain in the butt and others will appreciate the products more than I do. I sincerely hope that’s the case.

I’ll love using my cleansing cream, I’ll end my rant with that.

Thanks for taking the time to read my moaning and groaning and I’m sorry to sound like a Negative Nellie. It’s just……..so…….bad……….(for me).

HAPPY FRIDAY EVERYONE!

Shelley

I’d like to know how they get from $24.99 US to $65.00 US for Canadian customers? Shipping wouldn’t be $40.00 and then we still have to convert it to Canadian.

NOW this is starting to get in the right direction!! Please give us good pallettes!!! This is what I am here for..I know this is a dollar store brand…but better then usual with this box

Flora

Ok, now I’m curious, what does the cleanser smell like?

Errmmm

It’s hard to explain if you don’t know their truffle therapy line – it’s AMAZING. The face oil, it’s pure heaven in liquid form. All of the products in the Truffle line have the same scent. OMG it’s so good. I suppose it’s what a certain type of truffle smells like. Just…….deliciously luxurious.

Shari

Looking forward to this cleanser. I love this brand so much!

Anita

I love this brand. I never tried the cleanser and I’m excited to try it. I did try and use up the exfoliator and loved it. Also, the smell……OMG!

Alice

It smells just like the gommage! It’s the best scent!

Errmmm

I *LOVE* this cleanser, and this whole line. The scent is truly intoxicating, I know that sounds dramatic but I could just inhale it all day long. The face oil, the gommage, the toner, the eye cream…….absolute heaven on earth. This is such an exciting addition for me – I just ran out of my deluxe size cleanser about 2 weeks ago and hadn’t re-ordered it. WHOO HOO!

Alice

Same for me! I wish I could inhale it all dsy.

Alice

My favorite cleanser!
